"L-Little girl..." The old man’s voice was shaking. It made Rose even more worried about this old man’s condition. "H-Help! I feel so hungry. But I didn’t bring any food, and now my low sugar has risen, I can’t walk. My head is spinning...."

"S-Sir... wait..."

"Grandpa! Just call me Grandpa, little girl...."

"Alright, Grandpa... please wait here." Rose held the old man’s hand. She was shocked when she felt his hand felt so cold. "I will buy some food for you. Don’t go anywhere...." Rose rushes toward the minimart right next to the Company Registration Office building.

For some reason, seeing this old man in pain alone made her remember her mother’s parents. She doesn’t have memories of her grandpa because her grandfather died when she was little, but her mother often told her about her grandfather. And when she saw an old man in pain, it broke her heart.

After some time, Rose returns to the park bench where the old man is. She sat next to him, who was still holding his stomach. She gave him bread and a sweet drink to fill his stomach for a while. If he could walk, Rose wanted to take him to lunch with her later.

"Grandpa eats slowly. If you are still hungry, eat more. I bought a lot of snacks to help you quench your hunger." Rose smiled when she saw this old man was so voraciously eating his bread. How long had he not eaten to make him eat this voraciously? She felt sad for him.

"Thank you, little girl..." The old man glanced at Rose with a look of delight in his eyes.

"Grandpa, where is your family? Why are you staying alone here? Are you lost?"

"I don’t know. I don’t remember...." The old man’s trembling voice made Rose even more worried.

"Did you bring any phone?"

"That’s the problem, little girl... My cellphone is lost somewhere. I can’t contact anyone. I forget...I really forget everything." The old man’s face turned sad as he took a deep sigh.

Rose’s heart sank when she realized this old man had Alzheimer’s. How could she help if this old man had no memories of who he could contact?

"Grandpa, it’s okay. Later, when Grandpa feels better, I’ll take Grandpa to the nearest police station. I hope Grandpa’s family will look for you there..." This is her best way to help him. If she knows where his hotel is, she will bring him there.

"You are such a nice person, little girl... thank you." The old man continued to finish his breath.

"Grandpa, everyone will do what I did if they see you in pain. I just happen to be nearby...." Rose smiles.

"Are you from this city?"

"I’m not. I’m here because of my company business. I’m from East city, but I’m currently living in the capital." For some reason, Rose felt comfortable talking to this old man. She felt like she was talking to her grandfather. It made her happy.

"You look so young, but you already have company? I’m impressed with you, little girl.."

Rose became embarrassed because she talked too much to him, "Well, grandpa, my company is still small... not to be proud of. Not yet."

"You should be proud of yourself, little girl. Even though your company is small, it results from your efforts. I rarely see a young girl like you in my circle. A young lady like you is busy wasting their parent’s money...." The old man shook his head slightly.

Rose was surprised to hear his words. "Grandpa, you remember? Hurry, tell me the phone number of your family. Let me help you to call them...."

Instantly Rose went limp again. Apparently, this old man only remembers part of his memories. It seems that his Alzheimer’s is quite severe. She became annoyed with this old man’s family, who let him wander around alone without a companion.
