"Evan, since when did you prepare all of this?" Rose had only been gone a few hours, but Evan was able to alter her beautiful hotel room. And she was also surprised because this man had prepared the engagement ring. How could he know her finger size?

"Well, it’s not a big deal, Rose...." Evan smiles as he brings her to the dining table. It was past lunch time worried her lover would starve.

Soon a few hotel staff in black uniforms beeline into the room. They bring several dishes for their lunch. Rose’s eyes are beaming, looking at a hot steak and other delicious foods in front of her. They also serve red wine in crystal wine glasses. After the hotel staff disappears from the room, they start eating.

"Did you like the dish?"

"Hmm... this is delicious. The best kind of food to eat after any marriage proposal...It elevated an already happy mood. This should be common knowledge." Said Rose with a funny teacher-like face as she tried to humor Evan, who looked too cool and nearly humorless.

"You’re right. The food fits with the mood. It elevated the one with whom you eat. Like now, I eat with the beautiful Angle...." Evan smiled.

Rose speechless. She regretted saying the wrong words to lure this man into his sweet talk. She almost drowned in his honey trap again.

"S-So...I was right?" Said Rose nervously, disbelieving her joke was taken seriously by Evan.

"Ooh, Wifey... you’re not just right. You are also spot on!" Shouts Evan, finally with a big smile on his face.

Rose thought the hotel staff would leave after being served their lunch. Still, a few minutes later, two men staff entered the room again with a two-tier white cake decorated with roses. It looks so gorgeous. And when she saw the cake brand, she was surprised. This cake is only sold in one of the famous pastry shops in the capital.

Did Evan fly this cake from there?

"Evan, this cake is the one I like..." Her eyes sparkled looking at the cake.

A few days ago, in the capital, she asked Sam to buy this cake for her because, in her previous life, she didn’t have the luxury to buy this cake brand. She always felt envious of the people who review this cake on social media. And when Sam successfully purchased a few slices for her, she tried it. And she falls in love with the cake. No wonder the cake shop is so popular. The cake is tasty. Heavenly delicious.

Rose complimented Evan while giving a thumbs up, looking at the two-tier cake in front of her. She was touched by this man. He was really detailed in planning his proposal.

Evan just smiled. If only Rose knew what he was preparing for, she might be shocked.

After they finished eating, Rose wanted to monitor Sam and Oliver’s progress. She follows Evan to the study room.

While Evan sat at his desk and continued his work, Rose sat on the sofa. She’s also working on her laptop in her lap. She immediately calls Oliver after she reads the last text from him.

"Oliver... how’re things there?"

"Hi, Boss. Everything is alright here! So far, nothing to worry about. If there are no problems at 10 AM tomorrow, we will meet the relevant officials to register our new branch here."

Rose felt relieved. She had been so worried about this matter, but after her man helped, things went so smoothly. She glanced at the man who was busy reading the document. He looks so freaking handsome when he’s serious like now.

It seemed she still couldn’t believe that they were already engaged. Though she felt so happy with her new status as fiance, there was a tinge of worry in her heart because Evan’s father didn’t like her yet. And she hasn’t met his grandfather either.

"Boss! Anything you want to ask again? If not, will I end this call?" Rose heard Oliver’s words on the other end made her gasp in surprise.

"No. Nothing... Alright, see you tomorrow!" Rose said after that, she ended the call.

"Is everything alright, Rose?"

Rose is surprised to hear Evan talk to her. She looked at him. The man was leaning on the back of the chair casually and staring at her with his loving gaze.

"Yeah. Everything is fine there..."

"Smile, please. Because...you shouldn’t be too worried. Your company will definitely be able to enter the auction." Evan chuckled slightly before continuing. "Well... if you make me a shareholder, surely people won’t dare mess with Wilson Group!"

Rose laughed, amused seeing Evan so serious about investing in her company. She just shook her head as she read a few documents about her other project. Rose didn’t buy what he said. She can tell Evan just casually said that. After all, her company is so small that his team in Starlight Investment will laugh if they know he invests in Wilson Group.

"I mean it, Rose!"

Rose lifted her head again and saw him in the eyes. She was stunned when she saw the seriousness in his eyes become more apparent.

"Now...now...Mr. Collins, my company shares are costly. I’m afraid you won’t be able to buy the shares..." Rose casually said that. She never had plans to add investors to her company.

"Really? Now you’re enticing me even more. Tell me your price." Evan rises from his seat and joins Rose in the seating area. "Well... just for your information Ms. Collins, your Hubby is freaking rich. So, whatever number you say, he will definitely be able to pay it...."

Evan almost laughed when he saw the girl’s face turn red. He crossed his leg to follow her play. He knows this girl’s reason why she is not willing to accept his offer.

Rose was utterly shy hearing this man calling himself ’hubby?’

"So how much? Tell me?" Evan asks again.

"E-Evan..."

"Hubby! From now on, call me Hubby."

Rose’s eyes widened as she was surprised by his request. She thought Evan was joking, teasing her by saying ’Hubby’, but he insisted on making her call him that.

"But, we’re not married yet?" Rose said in her soft tone. It felt weird calling him that. Other than that, they weren’t married. She wasn’t used to it.

"You have a problem with that? When we return to the capital, we will go straight to the marriage registry office. Wait for a few days. Your name will become mine, wifey! So you should get used to calling me, Hubby?" A gentle smile frames Evan’s face, making Rose even more speechless.

Fine! You win, Mr. Collins... "A-Alright!"

"Alright, what?"

Rose was speechless with his determination to make her call him Hubby. Damn this man! After a deep sigh, she finally dared to call him as he wished, "H-Hubby...."

"That’s even better, wifey!" Evan smiled with satisfaction hearing his lover call him ’Hubby’ as if there was a feeling of pride in making this girl his wife. He really can’t wait to return to the capital. And finalize their marriage documents.

"Now tell me the price!"

"Evan... I mean... H-Hubby, I’m just kidding. No need for you to invest in my company. I will ask you for money if someday I need more funds. After all, who will dare to mess with my company if we are getting married?"

Rose already thinks about this one. Wilson’s group is her pride, and she won’t let Evan get involved in this. Because with the Wilson Group, she could be a match with this unusual man. The man who will one day rule this nation with his wealth and power.
