When Rose finished getting ready, she went to the living area and found Evan neatly dressed in his white slim-fit shirt with gray trousers. Evan’s sharp gaze was fixed on her but this time his gaze was so gentle and charming it made Rose flutter.

While on another sofa, there’s Sam. He is also neatly dressed in his black suit with his back facing Rose.

Rose joined them. She sat beside Evan. But the moment her eyes looked at Sam, she was surprised. Sam looks miserable like someone has just scolded him badly. She could only chuckle silently in her heart, wondering if Evan was punishing Sam for a mistake he didn’t commit.

"Morning, Sam!" Rose greeted Sam cheerfully, but Sam awkwardly answered her greeting.

Rose was utterly speechless. She glared at Evan as if she scolded him with her sharp gaze; How could you say that to poor Sam?
