Rose can see in both directions on the left and right. There were 4 men in black surrounding the man in the black hat. And she became a hostage. Rose felt today was not a good day for her; after Willard Harper made her stressed, now this man in the black hat drags her into his conflict with the people who surround them.

The situation is getting tense because there are 4 guns pointed at the head of the man in the black hat.

Rose’s clothes were wet with sweat that didn’t stop coming from her pores. Her throat still hurt because the man in the black hat still hooked her hands around her neck. Every time she swallowed, her throat felt like it was on fire. It hurt so much. The pain in her stomach due to menstruation has also begun to feel pain again.

But, all that pain only lasted for a moment. Because now, it was replaced with fear, imagining that if one of the four men shot miss-hit, it might be her who would die, not the man in the black hat, who made her a human shield.

Chill ran all over her bones. Rose tried again in a hurry to beg the man who held her.

"S-Sir, I don’t know your problem with them. It’s useless if you drag me into this situation. They all will still catch you. Ugh, sir.... C-can you release me?" Rose said in a pitiful voice, hoping this man in the black hat melted and will release her. However, her words were ignored by the man in the black hat.

She felt helpless.

"Please, sir, I am an only child. If I die, who will take care of my aged mother?"

Seeing the four men surrounding them doing nothing made Rose even more scared. What’s more, the man who was tangling her neck didn’t pay any heed to her request.

"S-Sir... can you."

Rose can hear a chilly tone from the man behind her, "Stop talking bitch! Or I will blow up your brain instantly!" The man in the black hat was annoyed at Rose. She was so noisy when he had to think of a way to escape this narrow path alive.

The man in the black hat thought he would kill this girl if she was useless. He waited for the right opportunity to arrive before he took action.

"N-No.... Please, I will listen to you. B-But... Can you loosen your hand? I could die because of lack of oxygen if you tangled me like this, sir!?" Rose’s neck was so sore. Luckily the man in the black hat loosened his grip a little, so Rose could breathe easier.

"I will count till five. I will blow up your head if you don’t release her!" The man in a black shirt who had previously spoken spoke again.

This time his voice sounded even colder. Rose glanced at the man, she could see the man looked tall, and his athletic body was clearly visible from his tight black shirt wrapping around his muscular body. His eyes darted through her eyes like he was trying to communicate with her.

"Before you do that, her brain also will shutter...." The man in the black hat shouted to respond to the man in the black shirt. "You can try!"

Rose was speechless.

Suddenly, she felt one of her feet now step in front of death’s door. And two grim reapers are arguing over who will take her life first.

Gosh! How could she have experienced this unreasonable incident?

"S-Sir! Please don’t shoot! I don’t know your problem with the guy behind me, but I’m begging you, can you two have a nice talk without me? Let me go...." Rose’s voice choked.

After she swallowed a few times, she continued her words, "I don’t want to die here, sir. Can you let this man behind me go? I can’t die here. My mother still needs me. My mother will die in sadness if I die here..." Rose’s voice trembled as she pleaded with the man in the black shirt.

Rose resigned with her bad luck and her life that was about to be taken. She becomes sad, remembering her mother and her boyfriend, Evan.

She regretted her decision to leave her hotel room alone without Sam guarding her. If only she had ignored her embarrassment, this incident would not have happened. Sam would easily knock out this man in the black hat with just one move.

Without Rose knowing, she made a sign language plea to the man in the black shirt, ’Sir, please help... don’t shoot.’

The man in the black shirt was stunned. Does this girl know sign language? Interesting. He nods slightly, trying to tell her he understands.

Rose was shocked when she looked at the man, who answered her with a nod.

Does he understand? Really?

Rose was stunned because very few people she knew mastered sign language. To make sure that the nod she saw was not just her imagination, she made another sign,

’Sir, please move your left foot a little if you understand what I’m saying?’

Instantly Rose felt a glimmer of hope. She definitely will escape from this man’s grip. She had been thinking about this since earlier, but she was afraid that the four men who pointed a gun at them didn’t act quickly and she could be shot by this man in the black hat out of his anger.

But now, it’s different. Rose can communicate with the man in the black shirt.

Quickly, Rose tells the man in the black shirt her plan. Seeing the man understand her plan makes Rose so excited. If her plan worked, then she would definitely survive. She can still meet her mother and her boyfriend, Evan.

Rose waited for the right moment to start her plan. Then she heard the man in the black shirt provoke the man behind her.

"You think I am afraid of your threats? Hah! You are just a mere stupid person I never met in my entire life. I could kill you in the blink of an eye...." His voice sounded cold, but his words were enough to irritate the man in the black hat.

"This is the right time!" Rose murmurs in her heart.
