"Evan, did you drive? Where’s Sam and Gavin?" Rose was surprised when she saw Evan’s black SUV waiting in front of their apartment’s main entrance.

"Hmm... I want to drive my girlfriend before she leaves the city..." Evan playfully smiles as he helps her to enter the car. "Sam is already waiting for us at the airport. As for Gavin, I purposely didn’t ask him to drive me this morning."

Rose smiles, looking at Evan, trying to make her flatter. She remained silent until their car moved.

"What are you thinking, Rose?" Evan glanced at her. She just looked absentmindedly, staring out the window without saying anything. He can see through the window reflection that she was in deep thought.

Rose sat up straighter, looking at Evan. After a long silence, she finally said something,

"This morning, mom asked me to go home... after my trip to Vale city. So I thought I would fly there after my job in Vale finished." Rose’s soft voice sounded worried.

How could she not worry? When her mother sounded a little strange on the phone like she had something important to say to her.

She tried to ask her mother to tell her over the phone, but her mother refused. She insists on saying it directly.

Evan was concerned that Rose would be offended by his offer. But luckily, this girl is an open-minded person; she just felt not righteous if her mother stayed at his property. And he can understand her worry.

Now, he tries hard to think away so that Rose can live in the same city with her mother. After a few minutes in silence, he finally had an idea in his mind. He quickly looked at her again.
