Chapter 109: Resemblance

Just before Rose wanted to call Evan, at the same time, she saw Evan’s apartment door was open. He appears in his casual outfit. Rose felt relieved. Finally, there was Evan, who talked to Amanda Spencer. For some reason, she felt an awkward little being around this woman.

"Aunty Amanda, you come... where’s my stuff?"

Rose is stunned when she hears Evan’s words. Is this woman Evan’s Aunty? For sure?

"Y-You!! Why do you call me Aunt?" Amanda Spencer felt hurt. This young man always called her that way. "How many times I tell you, call me sister... I’m still young to be your aunt, alright!" She glared at Evan in annoyance before she continued her words, "Your stuff, on the way here. I purposely stopped by first to see my sister-in-law...." She turned her gaze to Rose and smiled happily at her.

Amanda is still shocked, looking at how beautiful Rose Wilson is. Her almond-shaped eyes are perfect on her tiny oval face. Her dark wavy blonde hair just perfectly hangs beautifully down to her back. The longer she looked at Rosel the more she felt that she had ever seen someone with a similar face to Rose. She tries to remember, but she can’t remember who. After another few seconds of trying, she just gives up. This makes her deathly curious.

Rose, still in shock, realizes Amanda Spencer is Evan’s family member. She feels awkward, another family member who knows of her existence. This made her happy and, at the same time, worried his aunt wouldn’t like her.

"Let’s get inside..." Evan said. He gently held Rose’s hand, and they walked together inside.

Rose could only smile at Amanda Spenser and asked her to follow them. She feels shy because Evan shows their intimacy in front of his family. Gosh!

"Evan, can you introduce your girlfriend to me?" Amanda Spencer protested at Evan for not telling her anything about this pretty Rose Wilson. She knows her name but does not know what she is doing, whether she is in college or already working. Which family does she come from?

She tried to check her identity on the internet all the way to this place, but she found nothing. She also never heard Wilson’s surname in the capital. She thought Rose Wilson might come from another city.

"You know her name already." Evan frowned, then he lovingly looked at Rose. "Rose, this is Auntie..."

"Auntie? No...no...no. It’s Sisters!" Amanda Spencer corrected Evan as she sent her sharp gaze at him.

"Sister? No way. You are my aunt! How could I call you sisters?" Evan’s voice sounded calm, but it was clear from his face that he looked annoyed.

"Rose, this is Aunt Amanda Spencer. She holds franchises for well-known fashion brands from abroad and restaurants and coffee shops. Her company name is AX, and they have many branch stores in this country..." Evan explained to Rose, who was sitting beside him.

Rose could only gasp in shock, looking at Amanda Spencer. She knows about the AX store, which is the first time she has met the owner in person. In her previous life, that boutique was beyond her reach. The stuff they sell is a premium product.

"H-Hai Aunt..." Rose stopped when she saw Amanda Spencer feeling gloomy the moment she wanted to call her Aunty. Rose, trying to hold her laugh, looked at her expression. She immediately corrected how she called her, "S-Sister Amanda, it’s nice to meet you. I’m Rose Wilson..." She stopped her words, unable to say anything else.

"Rose... may I call you Rose?" Rose smiles at Amanda as she nods. "That’s great! Rose, what do you do? I mean, are you still in college or already working?" Amanda was sure this girl was younger than Evan. Maybe Rose is Evan’s junior in college.

"I’m Evan’s classmate...." Rose smiled. She knows sister Amanda wanted to know her background. "And now I’m working."

"She is not working! But Rose owns a company..." Evan corrected Rose as he looked at her. His hand rubs her hair gently to make her calmer. He’d seen Rose look awkward ever since Aunty Amanda came.

"Wow! You guys, classmates? No wonder... Evan fell for you, Rose. How could he resist a girl as beautiful as you?" Amanda Spencer was surprised to know Rose was the same age as Evan. And she was even more shocked to hear that this girl already owned the company. So young she already has a business? No wonder Evan liked her. They have similar interests.

Rose lost her words, unable to answer Sister Amanda’s words. She also felt shy because Sister Amanda praised her. And at the same time, she was even shyer because Evan was showing his PDA in public again.

"Sister Amanda, what do you want to drink?" Rose asks. She immediately stood up, avoiding Evan’s hand that was starting to wrap around her waist.

"Oh dear, Rose... Do not bother. Give whatever you have." Amanda Spencer smiled.

Rose immediately walked to the kitchen. She took a water bottle from her fridge.

Later...

Several women and men in black suits entered Rose’s house. All of them are wearing black uniforms and wearing white gloves.

They brought many clothes racks, complete with clothes hanging on the shelf. Rose also saw expensive branded boxes which she had never seen with her own eyes. She was sure the box was a place to store bags and shoes. Besides the box, she also saw a large jewelry cabinet.

She was confused because earlier, she didn’t choose jewelry. Why does sister Amanda bring so much jewelry too?

Rose was speechless.

Now she suspected that Evan had asked sister Amanda to carry all the stuff in her store to her house. She glanced at Evan beside her and wanted to ask him. But the man looked so focused on reading something on his iPad. He didn’t care about seeing so many clothes filling her house.

Rose felt her head spinning because the luxury store was moving into her house.
