After completing the whole process, Luo Qianqian and Lin Jiayou had to accompany the bride and groom for the toast. Once An Zilan changed her clothes, Luo Qianqian accompanied her to toast the guests, only to spot a familiar figure, turning Luo Qianqian’s face green.

It wasn’t someone from the Luo Family, as recognizing Luo Shufan and Luo Qianqian was a statement in itself. Since An Zilan and Luo Xinyue had already divorced, they were free to marry whoever they wanted.

The person was Wang Wei. Though sitting in a corner, wearing a hat, and dressed in loose clothes, Luo Qianqian recognized his profile at a glance. After telling An Zilan she was going to the restroom, she found Bai Yixian and explained the situation, then returned to the newlyweds’ side relieved, continuing to toast and collect red packets.

Seeing Bai Yixian and Bai Yizhu move next to Wang Wei, she finally breathed a sigh of relief, as this meant there would be no trouble.

After finishing a round of toasting, she discovered that the three of them, along with the classmates’ table, were missing. Luo Shufan was also gone. Startled, Luo Qianqian hurriedly went to ask at the bride’s main table, "Where’s my brother?"

"He stepped out a moment ago, left his phone for you, said something came up." Luo Qianqian took the phone handed by her aunt, furrowed her brows as she looked at the call log, the last call being from Bai Yizhu.

Feeling unsettled, she still said nonchalantly, "Aunt, please go ahead and eat, I’m heading back with mom soon. I promised Linlin lots of candies, and I need to develop the pictures."

"Okay," An Zihua replied cheerfully, feeding her daughter.

Luo Qianqian found Lin Jiayou and explained that she had to leave immediately, asked him to call if needed, then used the excuse of dropping off classmates to leave hurriedly. She dialed a number as soon as she was out of the hotel.

"Hello, where are you guys? What happened?"

"Qianqian, we’re at the hospital. My brother is injured," Bai Yizhu’s voice came through, followed by some noisy sounds. Then Luo Shufan’s voice followed, "Big Brother Bai is in the operating room, we’ve got that kid under control. It’s quite serious this time."

Hearing Luo Shufan’s voice made Luo Qianqian choke up as she shouted, "Which hospital? Is there enough money for the surgery?"

"Yes, bring some money. We’re short here, at the Central Hospital. Just inform your classmate’s parents, they’re all here at the hospital." She then heard chaotic sounds from the other side, and Pei Yuhao’s voice came through, "We’ve already called their parents, don’t worry. We told them we were going out to watch a movie, so make sure not to slip up."

Luo Qianqian hesitated but quickly agreed, then asked, "How much money do I need to bring? I didn’t bring any cash with me."

"Go get it from mom first. We can’t wait here; if it wasn’t for me being the eldest here, I would have gone to fetch it. Take more." Luo Shufan’s voice came through.

"Okay," Luo Qianqian hung up, turned, and headed back to the hotel. In front of Lin Jiayou, she grabbed two red packets labeled with the names of the bride’s family members and explained the situation, "Please tell mom for me. It’s urgent. I’ll repay it soon."

Lin Jiayou nodded, "I will head over soon. We can’t have them too worried here."

Luo Qianqian nodded and turned to leave, her purse in hand as she ran, an image that stayed in the minds of the groom’s family.

At the hospital, Bai Yixian was still not out. Luo Qianqian handed the red packets to Luo Shufan, who frowned and asked, "How did you get the red packets?"

"I didn’t ask Mom, I just returned it with Big Brother Lin, and that’s fine. This is Pei Yuhao’s family’s red envelope and Shen Yan’s family’s red envelope. As relatives, no one can complain." Luo Qianqian pouted, then glared at Pei Yuhao and the others, "You all gave red envelopes and still bought gifts, burning money much?"

"Where is Wang Wei?" Luo Qianqian glared and then immediately asked.

"Zhuzi and Han Lei are watching him; they’re at the surgery dealing with his wound." Shufan sighed. "Zhuzi got injured too."

"What exactly happened to the injury?" Luo Qianqian couldn’t believe Wang Wei really dared to start a fight at the wedding, she was just scared he would cause trouble.

This crowd of kids in formal wear was already noticeable, and this loud comment made the hallway look in their direction even more.
