After three strikes, he stopped and sneered, “Third brother, look at this whole family. When they saw me hitting you, not one of them tried to stop me; they all just went back inside their rooms. Lu Hongjun’s face fell instantly. He hadn’t expected them to take care of him in his old age, but their retreat in his time of need was another matter entirely.

Tang Sufen’s heart skipped a beat. She had never expected Old Lu to use this tactic to drive a wedge between him and his children. She forced a smile and said, “Big brother, please come inside for some tea first.”

Big Uncle Lu didn’t even give her a second glance. He turned to Lu Hongjun and asked, “Third brother, do you know why I’m hitting you?”

It could only be because of Lu Jiaxin. Because of her, aside from Jiazong, who still respected him as always, Jiaguang and Jiajie had quite an issue with him.
