Reawakening: SSS-Rank Villain's POV
Chapter 133 Meeting Stronger students!!

Chapter 133 Meeting Stronger students!!

The ground for kilometers around Lucian was now utterly devastated. The dense, twilit forest had been replaced by a barren, cratered wasteland. And in the center of this new clearing, now visible, stood two figures.

They were young, likely students, like him. One was a male, tall and powerfully built, with short, spiky blond hair and eyes that seemed to burn with an inner fire. He wielded a massive greatsword that pulsed with faint elemental energy. The other was a female, lithe and agile, with long, flowing silver hair. Her movements were fluid, and she held two wickedly curved daggers that shimmered with a cold, blue light. They had just finished off a monstrous, multi-limbed creature whose corpse was now dissolving into particles of light. The remnants of Lucian's counter-shockwave slammed into them.

"What the-!" the blond male yelled.

Both he and the silver-haired female reacted instantly. The male brought his greatsword up in a defensive arc, a wall of fire erupting from its edge. The female blurred, her daggers weaving a complex pattern that seemed to cut the air itself, creating a vortex of chilling energy.

[Roland's Skill: Blazing Rampart Activated!]

[Silveria's Skill: Zephyr Dance Activated!]

"KRRRAAA-KOOM!"

Their combined defensive maneuvers met Lucian's shockwave. The air exploded again, a smaller, more contained blast. The shockwave was dissipated, but the sheer force behind it still sent both students skidding back half a step, their expressions a mixture of shock and anger.

The blond male, Roland, rounded on Lucian, his fiery eyes narrowed. "You! Why did you attack us while we were fighting? Trying for a sneak attack, you coward?" His voice was loud, arrogant, and accusatory.

Lucian's expression, already cold, became glacial. He was tired of this. First Chris and Veronica, now this stranger. Was everyone he met going to accuse him of treachery? He simply stared at Roland, then his gaze flickered to the silent, silver-haired female, and then he turned to leave. He had no interest in their squabbles or their assumptions. He still needed EXP.

Roland bristled at being ignored. The sheer audacity! "Hey! Who gave you permission to leave?"

With a movement so fast he seemed to teleport, Roland appeared directly in Lucian's path, his greatsword held ready. He was a blur of motion, a testament to incredible agility. The ground beneath his feet cracked slightly from the sudden stop.

[Roland's Agility: High!]

A vein throbbed in Lucian's temple. This was an irritation he didn't need. Roland didn't wait for a response. With a guttural roar, he lunged.

"HAAAA!"

His greatsword became a streak of molten fire, aimed to cleave Lucian in two. The heat radiating from the blade was intense, warping the air around it. It was a powerful, committed strike, backed by considerable strength and skill.

[Roland's Attack: Fiery Cleave - High Damage!]

Lucian, finally angered beyond mere annoyance, moved.

[Celestial Adamantine Body Active!]

[Ungodly Regeneration Primed!]

He didn't draw his spear. His hand shot out, open-palmed, to meet the flat of the burning greatsword.

"CLANG!"

The sound was deafening, like a forge hammer striking an anvil. Sparks, both metallic and magical, exploded outwards. The fiery energy of the blade washed over Lucian's arm, sizzling against his crystalline skin.

[Elemental Resistance: 30% Mitigating Fire Damage!]

[Physical Damage from Impact: High!] [Damage Received: 2,800] [Damage Reduced by 50%: 1,400] [Regeneration Activated]

Lucian's arm, though momentarily seared, healed in a blink. He hadn't budged an inch. Roland, however, was sent stumbling back a full three steps, his eyes wide with disbelief. The force of the impact had traveled up his arms, making them hum.

"Impossible! My Flame Brand Art should have at least..." Roland muttered, shocked.

Lucian's voice was low, rumbling like distant thunder. "You chose this." He pushed off the ground, the earth shattering beneath his feet as he turned into a crimson-tinged blur.

[Crimson Shadow Step Activated!] (Agility x200%)

He closed the distance instantly. Roland, still recovering his balance, tried to bring his greatsword around. Too slow.

Lucian's fist, a piece of polished adamantine, slammed into Roland's chest.

"BOOM!"

A visible shockwave, a miniature version of the earlier blasts, erupted from Roland's back. The air cracked. Roland's eyes bulged, and a strangled gasp escaped him. He was launched backwards like a cannonball, smashing through the charred remains of several obsidian trees before crashing into a distant, still-standing rock face with a sickening thud.

[Lucian's Strike: Brutal Force!]

[Roland Damage Received: Severe Internal Injuries!] [+5,500 Damage Dealt!]

[Roland's Armor: High Tier - Damage Partially Mitigated]

Dust and debris rained down.

The silver-haired female, who had remained a silent observer until now, finally moved. Her expression was unreadable, but her eyes, like chips of ice, were

fixed on Lucian. She didn't speak. She simply vanished.

One moment she was there, the next, only the faintest shimmer in the air indicated her passage.

[Silveria's Skill: Shadow Stride Activated!]

Lucian's senses, honed to a razor's edge, picked up the subtle shift. He spun, his

arm coming up just as two daggers, coated in a layer of black, viscous frost,

aimed for his throat and heart.

"SHING! SHING!"

The daggers met his crystalline skin.

[Celestial Adamantine Body vs. Frost-Envenomed Daggers!]

"KREEE! KREEE!"

The sound was like nails on a chalkboard, amplified a hundred times. The daggers, despite their wicked sharpness and the chilling energy they exuded, only managed to score shallow, screeching lines on Lucian's neck and chest.

[Damage Received: 950 (x2)] [Damage Reduced by 50%: 475 (x2)] [Regeneration

Activated!]

[Debuff Attempt: Corrupting Frost - Resisted due to Ungodly Regeneration

Purity!]

[Debuff Attempt: Minor Neurotoxin - Resisted!]

The shallow gashes healed even as they were made.

The female, Silveria, reappeared, her eyes widening fractionally at the lack of

effect. Her daggers were already a blur, a whirlwind of icy death aimed at

Lucian's eyes, joints, any perceived weakness.

[Silveria's Skill: Thousand Cuts Flurry Activated!]

Each strike was fast, precise, and aimed to cripple.

Lucian moved with her, his body a graceful dance of evasion and deflection. For every ten strikes she launched, perhaps one would connect, only to skid harmlessly or with minimal effect off his adamantine hide.

His Dragon Soul Devourer was still not in his hand; he was fighting them with

eighty percent of his raw physical might, testing them, gauging them. And he

was surprised.

Roland, despite his arrogance, was strong. His physique, his speed, the power behind his strikes - it was far beyond what a typical student, even a talented one, should possess at this early stage. Lucian could feel the faint, lingering traces of potent elixirs and body-tempering agents on him when their bodies had briefly connected. This was a scion of a wealthy family, someone nurtured with resources from birth, likely possessing an A-rank or even a B-rank talent that synergized with his cultivated strength.

Silveria was different. Her strength wasn't in raw power, but in lethal speed, precision, and stealth. Her daggers carried nasty enchantments. She too, felt... refined. Not as overtly resource-fed as Roland, but definitely a product of elite

training,

"You are skilled," Lucian stated, his voice devoid of inflection as he caught one of Silveria's wrists in a grip of iron.

[Lucian's Grip: Strength 120+ Celestial Might (15%) = 138 effective strength!]

Silveria's eyes flashed. She tried to twist free, to bring her other dagger around.

"CRACK!"

Her wrist bones fractured under his grip.

[Silveria's Wrist Broken!] [-300 HP from bone damage]

A hiss escaped her lips, the first sound he'd heard from her. She didn't scream.

[Silveria's Combat Effectiveness Reduced!]

Lucian released her, pushing her back. He wasn't interested in a protracted

fight with these two.

From the rubble, Roland was staggering to his feet, clutching his chest. Blood

trickled from his lips. His expensive-looking combat suit was torn, and his greatsword was embedded in the rock face beside him. His eyes, however, still burned with a mixture of fury and disbelief.

"Who... who are you?" Roland coughed, spitting out a mouthful of blood. "No

ordinary freshman can be this strong!"

Lucian regarded them both. "I am Lucian. And I have no quarrel with you,

unless you insist on creating one."

He truly wasn't in the mood for this. He needed more EXP, and then he wanted

to see what a reroll would do to his Mythic spear. These two were a distraction, albeit a surprisingly potent one.

Roland clenched his fists. "You attacked us first! And you humiliated me!" Lucian sighed internally. "Your shockwave was an indiscriminate attack. My response was a defense that carried over. As for humiliation, you initiated the

direct conflict."

He could see the fury building in Roland again. This was going nowhere.

"Enough," Lucian said, his voice dropping an octave, carrying an unconscious

sliver of the [Dragon's Authority] he possessed. The air itself seemed to grow

heavy.

He decided this little interlude was over. He had wasted enough time. "If you seek another round, I will not hold back as much," Lucian stated, a

promise more than a threat.

He then turned, and with a burst of speed that left even Silveria's Shadow Stride in the dust, he activated [Crimson Shadow Step] once more.

[Crimson Shadow Step Activated!] (Agility x200% for 10 seconds) Not just a blur this time, but a near-instantaneous disappearance. A trail of rapidly fading crimson mist was the only evidence he had been there. He shot deeper into the ruined forest, leaving the two stunned students behind.
