Chapter 92: Rearrangement
Chapter 92: Rearrangement
Yur stood outside his mansion, watching it collapse.
Beside him were Xia and Julian. "To think—"
Julian was about to speak, but Yur lifted his hand, silencing him.
Instead, Yur walked toward the house, stepping into the pile of rubble.
From an area that had collapsed—seemingly due to the loss of its foundation—Yur dug and pulled something out.
"Ah!" A small wail escaped; it was Quin.
Yur helped her up and inspected her body, which was covered in wounds.
He then turned his gaze toward Julian. "Give her a pill to heal," he commanded, his voice laced with authority.
Though his tone was calm, Julian sensed underlying anger.
Rummaging in his spatial ring, Julian produced a green pellet and tossed it over. Yur caught it and placed it into Quin’s mouth, aiding her recovery.
As she sat on the ground focusing on healing, Yur walked over to Julian. "Tell me now..." he said, standing directly in front of him, his posture a bit taller. "Why is it that not only my maid but even a member of your royal family came for an assassination?"
"I don’t know," Julian replied, gazing into Yur’s eyes. In that moment, he felt the vast difference between them. Yur was stronger—much stronger than him. He was likely at the peak of Luminous Heart! Where did this person come from?!
"You should find out—" Yur began, but then he rubbed his ear and frowned. "Seems like this wasn’t the only target."
"What do you mean?" Julian asked, surprised.
Without answering, Yur jumped into the air, launching himself toward the castle.
Since Yur wasn’t a true Luminous Heart cultivator, he couldn’t fly without his wings—so he leaped from place to place.
"Let’s go," Julian said as he wrapped Xia in a robe and lifted her up before following Yur toward the castle.

Yur and Julian arrived at the castle around the same time.
"What the hell?" Julian cried in shock as he saw people running around the castle, tending to injured and dead servants. Amid the chaos, he saw the King issuing commands to soldiers.
"Brother, what is going on?" Julian asked, his voice trembling with shock.
The King sighed in relief as he rushed over. "We were attacked."
"By who?" Julian demanded, his shock mounting. "I had only stepped away for a moment."
"I think that’s why they launched the attack," the King replied, shaking his head. "It was a few Tri Maids, Tri Butlers, and even some members of our own family." He sighed heavily.
"It wasn’t just Pier?" Julian cried out.
"Pier?" The King rubbed his head. "So even he was involved?"
"Yes. He attacked Yur and Xia, along with Olive, one of the Tri Maids." The King explained.
Hearing this, the King began to rub his forehead, a vein bulging. "Thank you for protecting my niece." Ley, who had been with Renri during the chaos, confirmed that she was safe.
"I’d like to know what is going on," Yur said bluntly, not reading the room at all.
"Don’t we all?" the King answered with a sigh. "We did capture a few royal members. They will be interrogated to find out what’s happening."
At this, Yur’s calm expression betrayed a subtle tightening of his fists.
"Julian, I think Welit is trying to distract us. Their situation seems even worse than we thought—they’ve somehow managed to lower our own overall power while salvaging theirs." The King’s voice turned dark.
"Don’t worry. The attack was planned. We’ll move in within a week." He then pointed at Yur. "He will be joining the attack."
"Great," the King said, nodding with a bitter smile. "I’m sorry for asking so much of you, but I truly appreciate it."
Yur only nodded in response.
Soon, footsteps approached from behind the King. Turning around, they saw the Queen, Zhal, and her three children.
"Dad, I have imprisoned Illius and one other member," Renri announced, his face etched with anger. "They’re screaming and crying about someone, but they faint before they can say who it is." He added with a dark expression, "I feel this might be some sort of seal."
Listening to him, the King nodded. "I agree. It could very well be a third enemy."
"Do you think it’s related to the missing slaves?" Renri ventured. "We’ve been getting reports of nearby slave camps being attacked and slaves disappearing overnight."
"But how will kidnapping the slaves affect us?" the King asked, rubbing his forehead. Then he looked at Zhal and smiled. "Also, thank you for protecting my wife."
The Queen waved her hand and patted Zhal’s head gently.
"So you protected the servants as well? Thank you for that," the King said, smiling even more deeply. "Yur, your brother is truly talented. Despite his youth, he is remarkably powerful."
"We did train together for a long time," Yur said, glancing at Zhal, who kept his gaze low, then nodding at the King. "Anyway, with all this chaos, what should be done?"
"Let’s hold a quick meeting with the nobles and generals. We need to start planning our counterattack."
"And what of this hidden enemy?" Yur asked, frowning. "They managed to infiltrate my place without my knowing. We can’t ignore them."
"We don’t know who or what they are, so we’ll begin by investigating the slave camps," the King said. Then he turned to Prince Renri. "Lead the investigation. Figure out what’s happening. For now, Julian, Yur, and I will focus on the war."
"Understood," Renri replied before rushing off.
"Zhal, continue protecting my wife. Ley, Fren—both of you will stay with your mother under Zhal’s protection," the King ordered, then looked at Yur. "I need your help with war planning, so we’ll put the guardianship on hold..."
"Xia will stay with me. I don’t trust anyone else with her," Yur declared as he gently pulled Xia to his side.
"Huh?" The King and everyone else looked at Yur in shock. Their gazes then fixed on Xia, who was flushed and speechless.
"Sir Yur... are you and my cousin..." Renri began, confusion and shock mingling in his voice.
"I like her, and we plan to marry soon," Yur stated without hesitation. "As for trust—if one’s own family is a threat, it shouldn’t even be considered."
His words hit both the King and Julian like a sledgehammer. There was no rebuttal; the truth was undeniable. Outsiders like Yur and Zhal, who protected them from those they should have trusted, had showed more loyalty.
"Yur, we can talk about this later," Julian said, his lips twitching in frustration. Despite his anger, he couldn’t deny that Yur had proven himself by protecting Xia.
"Sure, but Xia stays by my side," Yur insisted. "With Shining Core cultivators attacking, I don’t feel comfortable leaving her with anyone—even Zhal." He turned, smiling at Xia. "Got it?"
"S-sure..." she replied, blushing heavily and avoiding eye contact. Her gaze landed on Ley, and she noticed her cousin smirking at her, making her feel even more shy.
The King sighed inwardly. So, he chose Xia instead of Ley? It was a pity. Having Yur as a son-in-law would have been ideal; at the very least, his daughter would be protected.
Suddenly, the King’s eyes softened as he looked at Zhal. Although still young, if Zhal grew up, he could be a worthy partner. He had talent even greater than Yur, and his looks were fantastic.
The more the King thought about it, the more he felt that Zhal might be a better choice than Yur.
Since Zhal was young, it would be easier to integrate him into the family, and he could be groomed to fight for them. This is a far better option.
Coming to a conclusion, the King decided privately:
"For now, all of you can leave. Julian, prepare to head to the front lines. Yur, I’ll send someone for you once the meeting starts—it should be tomorrow."
He issued his commands swiftly, and everyone quickly departed.
"You come with me," Yur said, smirking at Xia as he grabbed her by the waist before vanishing from his spot.
