Chapter 241: 241: Competition of Perverts!
---
"Exactly," Naaro said, narrowing her eyes. "This is for diplomatic purposes. This is for our future."
Azhara rolled onto her side, smirking. "Mmhm. Let me help. I brought some extra leaves. I have sizes for curvy, thicc, modest, to make sure sir Kai goes hard in one look."
The three ants froze.
Vel muttered, "Why... Why did you have so many categories?"
Azhara grinned. "A bunny must always be prepared. What if some got ripped? Sir Kai wants to see me in different leaf shapes!"
Sha finally snatched a leafy wrap from Azhara’s pile, marched to the side room, and slammed the curtain shut behind her. "I’ll do it. I’m not letting that rabbit be the only one to take sir Kai big anaconda. My chest is bigger than hers. I am sure sir will definitely pick me."
Behind the curtain came rustling. Then grumbling. Then—
"Oh my hive, this is so drafty!"
Then came Sha, emerging in full battle leaf glory with a busty chest, which poke out behind the leaf.
The top leaf was strapped tightly across her chest with twine—crookedly, like it had lost an argument with her mandibles. The lower leaf... well, it was barely holding on to her lips.
Vel covered her face. "I’m going to lose my mind. You look so scandalous."
Azhara gave a dramatic whistle. "Looking good! Kai’s going to chomp you like a honey glazed mantis. Those big melons, I bet Kai will beat his meat on them. That must feel so good..."
Sha blushed from antenna to claw tips. "Just... don’t say anything. I can imagine it. Sir Kai beating his anaconda on my chest. How dreamy..."
Naaro snatched a leaf. "Move aside. I will look the best."
Vel followed. "We’re doomed anyway. Let’s just do what is necessary to get that big anaconda inside our nest."
Minutes later, the three battle sisters stood awkwardly beside the bed with leaf clothes, semi-glowing, and about as embarrassed as warrior ants could be.
Naaro’s outfit had a single vine strap and too much thigh exposure.
Vel’s leafy wrap was tied with soldier knots, it was sturdy, but it made her walk like a constipated centipede.
Sha just gave up adjusting her chest and declared gravity the enemy.
Azhara beamed with pride. "Look at you all. The Leafy Legion of Love! All hungry for one anaconda."
"Don’t name us that," Sha deadpanned.
They all slowly settled onto Kai’s massive moss bed, half sitting, half glaring at the door.
"I can’t believe we’re doing this," Vel muttered. "We’ve trained for war, not seduction."
"I’m trained in blade form, not leaf modeling," Naaro sighed.
Sha crossed her legs. "At least none of the warriors will know. We take this secret to the grave."
"Agreed," all three whispered.
Azhara lay sprawled at the front of the bed like a hungry sphinx. "He’ll walk in, see me first, then you girls will stack behind me, like dessert trays. Remember... I am the main dish."
Vel rubbed her forehead. "Please never compare us to dessert again."
Sha stretched, her armored shell creaking faintly. "You know, it’s kind of warm in here."
Naaro flicked her antennae. "That’s not warmth. That’s collective shame."
Azhara leaned back with a happy sigh. "So, who do you think he’ll choose tonight?"
All three ants turned to her with identical snarls. "Not you."
The room broke into light shoving and dramatic sighing.
"Move over, you pillow humping thief!"
"Your tail is in my face!"
"Vel, did you just elbow me?!"
"I swear if Kai walks in and I’m mid-antenna tangle with you three—"
"Girls, calm down!" Azhara chirped. "We need to look sensual, not like we’re fighting for bed territory!"
Minutes passed. Then twenty. Then thirty. Soon an hour had passed. Then two hours... Now it’s midnight but Kai hasn’t returned.
Then came silence. Real, heavy silence. Because they realized something. It’s been so long... Kai... wasn’t coming back anytime soon.
Azhara peeked at the door saying, "...Where is he?"
Vel sighed. "Probably still scouting. Or saving a forest. Or doing... Hero stuff."
Naaro groaned. "I can’t believe we put on leaves for him but he is not here to look."
Sha flopped backward onto the pillow. "I feel betrayed. Emotionally and thermally."
Azhara whimpered. "My body is still burning. And now it’s cold. Cold with longing."
All four curled up together on the giant bed— bickering softly, adjusting leaves, limbs occasionally tangling in unfortunate geometry.
But slowly... warmth returned. Not from Kai. But from their shared absurdity. From laughter. From dreams of Kai doing all kinds of stuff with them. And from the promise of someday.
Meanwhile, Kai was busy with something else... (Southern sky near the sea water.)
The skies above the southern coast were cloaked in deep navy, pierced only by faint stars and the gentle shine of the moon. High above the ocean’s rhythmic pulse, Kai stood on the back of a flying jet.
The Sable Crested Alkaidon sliced through the air with terrifying grace. Its dual layered wings shimmered with faint silver where they caught moonlight, each shift in its feathers rippling through Kai’s senses like soft drum beats.
There was no saddle. No reins. Just instinct, muscle, and shared purpose.
Kai crouched slightly near the upper shoulder plate of the beast’s back. Beneath his feet, the surface felt both alive and ancient. Warm like a sun baked stone, and yet subtly vibrating... responding to his movements.
"Alright," he muttered, his breath forming a thin mist. "Let’s see if we can do this without crashing into a cliff."
He placed a palm against the feathers near Alka’s upper spine.
"Alka," he said aloud, unsure if the name worked. "Can you understand aura pulses? One for steady. Two for turns."
The beast tilted one wing and began to tilt sharply left.
Kai’s eyes widened. "That was not a suggestion!"
He nearly lost balance, but he activated Reflex Mode and leaned into the shift. His legs flexed instinctively, body swaying with the glide. The Alkaidon pulled up, the wind whistling as it leveled once more.
