This is what I call a true system novel, especially with the power to reset and continuously retry everything. With each experience comes new skills, not that simp-zero nonsense. The MC in this actually has a spine. The only downside is that he's a bit too naïve and goody-two-shoes for my taste. If you've gone through the same thing hundreds of times, it should make you apathetic, not kind.
When I first started reading this, I didn't think much of it. Kind of went autopilot and not really thought of the story much, kind like scrolling through tiktok while eating a meal.
But as I continued to read I was genuinely surprised as the novel progressed the writing got better and better, there were even times I had to stand up with my eyes out wide at what I just read. Overall an amazingly well written novel. There were some plot holes here and there, but I hope it will get even better
I'm leaving this review to say that I was really excited with the start of this novel, but then was gradually disappointed with amateur writing.
things like the main character meeting another character, immediately saying the new character's name to their face, multiple times. It goes: mc"Character A!" Character A"How do you know my name!!!" It's a little cring inducing.
im not one to hate cliches but oh man this writing is all over the place. The author even changes his mind on a skill's usage requirements suddenly.
Now, what made me realize this wasn't worth reading anymore is the Mc not using his op skill, that he just used mind you, why? Because his dumb face wants to take the "hard path"™️
The mc reading the same fundamentals book 80 times, in the beginning of the story, without any special reason, to get a skill he could just get using skill points and then resetting, shows two things. It shows the shallow thoughts of the author. It also makes you realize how unrealistic the Mc is. Who would have little to no reaction to dying, then proceed to not take advantage of the save+reload system, then torture themselves rereading the same fundamentals book for an ungodly amount of time?
it's really off putting when the main character doesn't use any of the plethora of advantages he has. Why even have the advantages in the first place then, author? Then again, maybe it's just a ChatGPT novel... I'm really disappointed :/
Going into this, I thought it would be the typical bullshit storyline. I am so glad I decided to read it though. I have no complaints except that there have been no updates. Can't wait to read more of this.
It’s really good in essence, I would highly recommend this. The story line is a tad generic but overall it really invests the reader, if you came here because the blurb said there’d be smut then you’ll be disappointed, only one such chap in the first 300 chaps I have read. But yeah I’d really recommend it as a read
A very unique novel with good storyline and a super awesome MC with calculative mind. A must read novel for all readers who are searching for unique novels.
