Race With a Heart -
Chapter 76: Be For Him
Chapter 76: Be For Him
At this point, Martin imagined Steve looking at him with those dark, lustful eyes and talking to him:
"I’ll get into you soon. Firmly. Hard."
Martin felt a thrill of excitement. He could even feel Paxton’s hot breath in his neck. It was totally ...
Martin fell to his knees. Warm water flooded his face, torso, stomach and he scooped up a thick foam on his finger and touched himself there, behind. His body remembered and demanded this caress. Martin didn’t even hesitate. Still imagining he had Steve behind him, he slipped his finger in and screamed.
It wasn’t pain. It was a shock that he had become so shameless since Steve had shown him that a man had more opportunities for pleasure than the most widespread.
Martin couldn’t reach deep, but he didn’t need it. Just knowing that he was doing something so obscene made his blood boil and sperm shot out in the hot shower rain. But Martin’s body was hotter anyway.
If he doesn’t see Steve tomorrow, if he doesn’t touch his body, he’s going to be mad with longing!
The seventh text message finally did its job, and Kevin Moore couldn’t stand it. He had to leave the meeting. He chose the number of the most annoying man he knew.
"You are so intrusive that I want to pick up a fly-swatter and slap you in the ass with it like I would slap some insistent fly!" he said viciously.
"Don’t be rude!" Jack rebuked. "This is not befitting people of your social status. Besides, I might like the idea and what will we do? My ass has to be healthy so I can earn a living. "
"You have so much money that you can take several dozen years off."
"And hear that you support me? No, thanks."
"Jack, I’m working!"
"On a murder case? Rape? Kidnappings? "
"No. I’m at an organizational meeting ... "
"Ignore it! I’m just alone in an empty house, disappointed and sad after this terrible race and there is no one to cheer me up," Lambert complained. "If this goes on, I’ll have to ring my neighbor’s doorbell!"
"I can see it already, you and Mr. Zagravsky. You will surely like his baldness and beer belly. "
"I am really getting desperate ..."
Jack was certainly persistence, but he rarely bothered anyone with his problems. If he was so insistent on meeting him, he really needed him. It wasn’t a whim, it wasn’t physical lust itself.
"Fine. I’ll be there in the hour, " Moore promised.
The meeting he attended wasn’t really important. He should have been there, but he would have no problem avoiding further participation in an emergency. Nobody will even ask for details. It will be a bit dishonest of course, but love and relationship required some sacrifices.
By the way, Kevin wondered why Jack was so insistently demanding his company? It’s not like something bad happened. Or maybe? Maybe something happened that Moore didn’t know? It didn’t happen on the track because the charge Jack made wasn’t something shocking for him, but maybe off the track? Maybe at a party or later?
Jack Lambert was the purest-hearted man Moore knew. This purity was not out of naivety. Raised in an orphanage, Jack knew what false smiles were, what a desperate desire was to sell himself to a foster family. He knew the cruelty of adults and children and knew this world was not paradise, but Jack chose to smile over hatred and bitterness. He rejected hypocrisy, he rejected jealousy, therefore his heart remained pure.
Crazy courage, determination and a purity of heart were not popular features in the modern world. This is probably why Lambert managed to get Moore’s interest in himself and, as a consequence, with the participation of many efforts, won his heart.
Life was not easy for Jack. Like probably every child raised in an orphanage, he carried a story with him. Even so, Lambert never gave in to the pressures of this world and always had a smile for everyone.
On the way home, Kevin wondered if maybe the incident on the track had affected Jack more than he had expected? Maybe Steve had said an ungrateful word to him after that? Was it like that? Did Jack need an antidote in his form to poisonous words of a track mate?
In fact, the reason wasn’t important. The important thing was that Jack needed him now, so Kevin had to be with him. For this reason, as soon as he entered, he called out:
"Jack! I am back!"
"You are alone?" he heard a voice coming from the kitchen.
"Yes!"
"For sure?"
"Wait, I’ll check if any fairies have landed on my tail," he announced, heading towards the kitchen.
"Then chase them away because your tail is mine!"
Moore, driven by his voice and exceptionally appetizing scent, entered the kitchen. There was a real feast on the table and a small but beautifully decorated birthday cake between the delicious dishes.
Kevin suddenly panicked. Had he forgotten about Jack’s birthday? No, impossible, the time of year was wrong. It was also half a year too early for his birthday. So whose?
"We have a party?" He asked. "Are we expecting guests?"
"We have a party, but we are the only guests. Today is my little brother’s birthday. "
"Your ..."
So that’s it, it was today! No wonder Jack needed his company. Lambert was a very open and talkative person, but he did not talk about his childhood. Kevin didn’t ask. When Jack will be ready, he will tell him himself. But Moore knew one thing, once upon a time, Jack had a younger brother. How much younger he was, what happened to him, and why Jack talked about him in the past tense, Kevin did not know. He could only guess that Lambert did not end up in the orphanage as a newborn.
The cake was small and was decorated with a frosted red and yellow car that looked like the colors of the Fergus Stables.
"Wherever Paul is now, I wish him all the best. Happy birthday, Paul. "
Jack smiled warmly as he heard his partner congratulate his absent brother. Kevin knew how much Jack missed the family ties, so although they were only in a partner relationship, Moore wanted to be a real family to him. Not a brother, it would be weird, say, a spouse without a document to prove it. Anyway, who needed some official paper when there was love and support?
"Will you tell me about Paul sometime?" he asked taking a seat at the table.
"Someday," Jack promised. He smiled, he smiled warmly, but there was sadness, longing and a sense of loss in his eyes.
Certain memories are difficult to recall even after several or even several dozen years.
"You surprised me," said Moore as they finished eating. Before that, they talked about Kevin’s work, which has been pretty boring lately. "I thought you wanted to complain to me about the race."
"What is this for? Race, like a race. " Jack shrugged. Kevin noticed that Jack was drinking a little more wine today than he always did. If this went on, Lambert would be a little thrilled, and Moore knew perfectly well what it meant.
"You were phenomenal," Kevin praised him. "I’m proud of you!"
"Really?" the driver rejoiced.
"Uhm. Even a lot. Before I met you, I didn’t think any sport could be so fascinating and... exciting. Your track charge was phenomenal! "
"You’re just saying..."
"Not at all. Do you know what my associations were then? "
"No," Jack admitted.
" Guess," Kevin said provocatively.
Jack looked at him closely, narrowed his eyes slightly, then grinned, showing his set of beautiful white teeth. His cheeks were pink with alcohol, but his mind was certainly not darkened.
"Professor, you never cease to amaze me!"
Moore took off his glasses, folded them, and set them on the table. It made Jack a bit blurry, but Kevin had no problem with that. He knew that in a moment his eyesight would be blurry anyway.
"If I hadn’t been amazing, I wouldn’t have been so interesting," he replied, pouring Jack wine. Thus, the bottle was emptied. "I’ll open the next one," he proposed and stood up.
Kevin grabbed the bottle from the rack and reached for the corkscrew. He was about to open it when he felt Jack hugging him from behind. He hugged him tightly.
"I’m so good with you," he said softly, and slipped his hand under Moore’s shirt. He stopped it on the man’s nipple and began to caress him.
Kevin could smell the wine from him. He turned his head and plunged his lips into Jack. They tasted like grapes. Moore had once heard a song in which they sang "Love as wine rushes to the head" and it was these words that came to mind, he felt the taste of his lover’s breath. They didn’t get drunk with wine, they drank too little, but instead of opening a second bottle, they would get drunk with their love.
Kevin put the wine down and, tilting his torso back, rested a hand on the hanging cupboard. One hand of Jack caressed his nipple, the other unfastened the belt of his pants ...
