Chapter 104: Insects In His Heart
Chapter 104: Insects In His Heart
"Do you know the ’Keyboard’ bar?"
"I know this place." Alston’s field of view narrowed even further.
"You already have your answer."
Nelson’s tone of voice indicated as if the man wanted to add, "What are you going to do about it?" But no such question was asked. Nelson just said goodbye and ended the call.
If that question had actually been asked, Don would not have been able to answer it because he had no plan. Only some insect in his heart stung him, constantly directing his thoughts to one track - he wanted to see them.
Alston didn’t know why the idea had even come to his mind. However, he had an irresistible urge to see Steve and Martin together. Just like then, in the cloakroom. He knew that in a bar, such a public place, they would not act indecently, but how will they look at each other? Will sensual desire be evident in their eyes or will they shyly avoid looking into each other’s eyes? How will two racing drivers look at each other when not the track but the bed connect them?
Don must see them. He had to see the two men looking at each other. It was like an irresistible temptation.
Without thinking, Alston got dressed and left the house and got into his car. He hadn’t even realized when he found himself in the parking lot under the ’Keyboard’ bar. He immediately recognized Paxton’s beautiful sports car among the stationary vehicles. So Nelson’s data was accurate. But could Don ever doubt it?
Alston stepped inside and looked around the room. It was only the beginning of the week, so about half the tables were occupied. In front of one of them, not out of the way, Martin and Steve were chatting over beer. They seemed relaxed and content. Lust dripped in Don’s eyes.
Don took a side table. From this place he could observe the couple he was interested in and, if necessary, move so that he was covered by the silhouettes of other guests. So he could see without being seen, and that’s what he meant.
Martin and Steve tried to act normally like a pair of colleagues, for example from work, but couldn’t. Their eyes were sparkling too much, as if they were golden stars in the night sky. The corners of their mouths did not stop floating in slightly embarrassed smiles, and their cheeks were flushed, certainly not only from alcohol. Even between an ordinary straight couple, Don had never seen the tension like between those two men. Who were they trying to fool by pretending not to be a couple? Only themself.
A second worm appeared in Alston’s heart. This one was completely different from the previous one. This one did not sting, this one crawled heavily, as if it were breaking through the silt, heavy, thick and slimy leaving a trail of slime.
Don couldn’t take his eyes off the reddened Martin. Was he always so damn attractive? If so, why did Alston never see it? Is it because a man has never been an object of desire for him? It is natural that a man should not look at the other man in this way. The other man should never make the former think like this. Yet Martin did it.
Alston’s heart flamed with anger. It was Martin’s fault that he had such indecent and unnatural thoughts. If Martin hadn’t been such a slut and hadn’t been playing with another man in public, Don would never have looked at him as an object of sexual desire. The thought just wouldn’t cross his mind.
But it happened, and now Alston couldn’t shake off his obsessive thoughts about Martin and how wonderful it would be to pin him against the wall and enter into him, definitely, firmly, as befits a man. Then those crazy thoughts would surely leave Don’s head and the driver could return to his normal, healthy state.
"Are you sure it’s him?" suddenly Alston’s attention was drawn to a conversation at the next table. Don didn’t know what caught his attention? Presumably, staring at the couple he was watching, he heard something that made him listen to a conversation between three boys who looked to be high school students. Only one, the one who asked the question, gave the impression that he could identify himself with an identity card and certify his legal age.
"Sure!" one of the younger boys replied, who looked as though he had not been legally allowed to visit places where alcohol is sold. At least not without parental care. "You think I wouldn’t recognize that asshole? Especially since he is famous. "
"Famous?" the third boy asked. "Wait, right, I saw an ad with him recently. Is that some model? Idol?"
"Race driver," replied the second. "I found out at the police station when they questioned me about this incident."
"He’s why the old folks don’t let you go skiing in Switzerland?"
"Yes. It’s that asshole. By what right does he think he can ruin my life? "
"Then he deserves a lesson," declared the first boy.
"There are three of us, there are two of them, and he can fight. He coped even though I had a knife. "
"No problem," his older colleague reassured him. "I’ll call the guys and we’ll do it like this ..."
Don Alston couldn’t believe what he was hearing. It was just too good! Don felt amused. Do such cases really happen?
It was hard for him to contain a laugh and he even coughed trying to do so. What an amazing, unbelievable coincidence!
These kids were getting ready to ’teach a lesson’ to Steve Paxton!
It was getting harder and harder for him to contain his laughter, and he began to fear that at some point he would reveal his presence. So he decided to go outside and freely vent his amusement.
Life wrote some really amazing scenarios! If these boys really want to get back at Paxton, and last time there was even a knife involved, things could get really interesting.
May it not be too interesting! Alston suddenly realized that Steve had been with Martin. If these three summon their colleagues again, the mechanic will also be in danger.
But that’s no problem for Don. Martin might not be hanging out with Paxton. If he does, if he sucks him up, she can also turn the cheeks for him. Every love must pass the test ...
Love? Alston suddenly felt sick. There is no such thing between a man and a man! It has no right to exist! It’s just a prettier and more innocent term for lust.
Even so, Don was starting to feel a little uneasy at the mere thought of Martin becoming a victim of the little revenge that those little boys were preparing for Steve. Maybe it will be a natural punishment for him for having an unnaturally close relationship with another guy, but what if something bad happened to Martin? Should Don warn them? Hmm, but then Steve will not get his well-deserved punishment too. A difficult choice...
A car drove into the parking lot and three big teenagers got out. It seems the reinforcements were closer than Don expected. There wasn’t even time to make a decision.
Martin and Steve had spent the entire afternoon together doing nothing specific. They wandered around the city almost like tourists, because although they both treated it as ’their’, they never really had time to visit it and walked past historic buildings and monuments, not even realizing that they were important to the history of the city and even the country. Admittedly, neither of them were fans of history and if they were visiting the city with a tour they would probably be bored, but they were a new couple who actually was on something that could be called a first date, so it didn’t really matter what they watched it was important but who they did it with. And they chose the perfect company for each other because they had each other. They also ate something quick in the city and looked at shop windows together. They even ate ice cream, although it was not as hot as it was before. They had a really nice afternoon together.
Eventually they decided to go to the bar. They chose ’Keyboard’ because they liked its location. They both remembered that it was here that a very unpleasant conversation took place between them, and not wanting that there would be any place in this city that would bring back unpleasant memories, they decided not to delay and build a new, beautiful memories in this place. They were in such a good mood that the task was child’s play.
And it actually was. Their time passed very pleasantly, especially since they both hoped to spend the night together.
"Steve, can I ask you a personal question? Very personal? It has been bothering me for some time ... "
"If you want to ask how many women I’ve been with, I wasn’t counting," Paxton admitted helplessly.
"No, that’s not it ..." Martin irritated. "This is more personal."
"More personal than sex?"
"Yes. I mean your health. Last time we were here, something bad happened with you ... "
Looking at Steve, Martin immediately regretted his question. The driver gave the impression that someone was sprinkling salt on his wound, and he could not in any way show that he was in pain. Martin was about to cancel the question when a drunk boy, probably younger than Martin, stumbled and almost spilled the contents of the mugs he was carrying on them.
"Sorry ..." the boy apologized.
Martin and Steve, preoccupied with this incident, failed to notice that another boy had just added something to Steve’s drink ...
