Powerless Boy is reborn as Lustful Elf
Chapter 88: Meeting Sit Orion

Chapter 88: Meeting Sit Orion

"You have?" Alex asked, his voice tinged with curiosity, a spark of intrigue lighting up his red eyes as he stood in the doorway, one hand resting lightly on the frame.

The soft glow of the hallway’s crystal sconces spilled into the room, casting a warm shimmer across the floor, inviting him to step inside.

The man nodded, his smile easy and welcoming, his dark hair catching the faint light. "Yes. Shut the door, please."

Alex paused for a moment, his fingers brushing the smooth wood of the frame, his heart giving a quick, excited flutter.

There was something about this guy, something calm, almost reassuring, that made Alex want to know more, even if he wasn’t entirely sure what he was walking into.

He stepped inside, easing the heavy door shut behind him with a soft click that echoed in the quiet.

The sound was gentle, like the room was ready to share its secrets, and Alex felt a buzz of anticipation, his telekinesis tingling faintly under his skin, more from excitement than nerves.

As the door closed, Alex’s eyes swept the room, taking it in with a mix of wonder and amusement.

The space was cozy, but in a quirky, unexpected way, like someone had designed it to be warm but couldn’t resist adding a few odd twists.

A single blue light, a glowing orb hovering near the ceiling, cast a soft, cerulean glow, bathing everything in a dreamy, almost magical shimmer.

It wasn’t super bright, but it gave the room a snug, intimate feel, like a secret hideout.

To the right, a sleek wooden desk stood against the wall, its surface bare except for a single, unlit candle.

Weirdly, there was no chair behind it, which made Alex’s lips twitch into a half-smile. A desk with no chair? That was... different.

Across the room, opposite the desk, sat a lone chair, plain, cushioned, but oddly solitary, like it was waiting for someone to claim it.

The setup was strange, but kind of cool, like the room was daring him to figure it out, and Alex couldn’t help but feel a flicker of excitement at the challenge.

He turned slowly, his sneakers whispering against the polished floor, his eyes roaming the walls.

They were bare, no tapestries or paintings, just smooth, dark wood that gleamed softly in the blue light.

It wasn’t what he’d expected from a training room, way less formal, more like a place you’d sneak off to with friends to swap secrets.

His fingers twitched at his sides, his telekinesis humming quietly, not from worry but from the thrill of being somewhere new, somewhere that felt like it held answers to questions he hadn’t even asked yet.

The man’s voice cut through the quiet, warm and laced with a playful chuckle. "The décor is a little strange, yes, but it’s quite helpful, really."

His laugh was soft but infectious, like he was letting Alex in on a joke.

As he spoke, he moved to the desk, his steps light and graceful, and perched on its edge, one leg crossed casually over the other.

He gestured toward the lone chair with a friendly wave, his smile encouraging. "Please, sit."

Alex didn’t hesitate this time, his curiosity outweighing the faint flicker of caution in his chest.

He crossed the room, his steps quick and eager, and sank into the chair, the cushion soft and welcoming, molding to his frame.

It was comfier than he’d expected, like it was made for him, and he leaned back, feeling a little more at ease.

The chair faced the desk, putting him right in Sir Orion’s line of sight, but it didn’t feel intimidating, just... intentional, like this was exactly where he was supposed to be.

He glanced at the man, his red eyes bright with interest, ready to hear what came next.

"I’m Orion," the man said, his voice smooth and warm, carrying a hint of mischief. "You can call me Sir Orion."

He leaned forward slightly, his dark eyes sparkling in the blue light, like he was sharing a secret. "This class is a one-on-one ability tutoring session for telekinesis. You’ve missed two years of training, Alex, and you’ll need remedials to catch up to your peers."

Alex’s stomach dipped, but it wasn’t panic,

just a pang of realization. Two years behind?

The idea of catching up, of honing it in this quirky room with this guy, sent a thrill through him. But what about his other abilities?

His mind flickered to them, the secrets he’d been told to keep close. Did Sir Orion know?

The Council had been hush-hush, but maybe... He took a breath, deciding to test the waters. "Will there be training for my... other..."

He stopped, the word abilities catching in his throat, his face warming as he realized he might’ve said too much. What if the Council hadn’t told him? He didn’t want to be the one to spill his own secrets.

Sir Orion chuckled, the sound warm and teasing, like he’d seen Alex’s fumble coming a mile away.

"Do you mean training for your other abilities?" he asked, his tone light, his lips curving into a grin that was more amused than mocking.

Alex’s cheeks flushed, his red eyes darting to the floor, but he couldn’t help a small, sheepish smile. Busted.

Sir Orion’s expression softened, his gaze kind but curious. "The Council told me about you, Alex. About your... multiple powers."

Alex’s breath hitched, but it was more surprise than worry, his heart giving an excited jump.

They told him? Relief washed over him, mixed with a spark of curiosity.

This guy knew his biggest secret, and he didn’t seem fazed, not even a little.

Alex studied him, searching for any hint of judgment, but all he saw was that warm, intrigued smile, like Sir Orion was genuinely excited to work with him.

It was... kind of awesome, actually, to have someone look at him like that, like his powers were something special, not something to hide.
