Pestilence: Rise Of The Pure Undead
Chapter 825 - 825: Invisible Girl

Frankly, Loimos was actually doing much more than just taking onto the burden of the new rule imparted into the realm by the emerald folks, by making use of his soul depth manifestation to connect to all over the undeads present within the realm, he had also channelled his powers to also shoulder the natural effects of the realm as well.

The undead should be far more limited, and most would have their respective ways of power locked away from being used, but thanks to Loimos, all of them could move and fight like they could in the main world, simply without the added benefits of being surrounded by death force and miasma, but that was something all had been prepared for.

In truth, Loimos was even more weakened than the fire knight believed, but it simply did not show, because even with all of that stacked on top of one another, he remained a formidable being, he definitely wouldn't be able to fight the pure living again like this, but that was beside the point.

Fact was, the more undeads travelled into this realm, the more he was weakened, and the stronger an undead coming in was, the greater the weakening.

The basic fact of being an undead in the Emerald Realm, even now that they were not instantly dismantled, was already a heavy toll to pay.

Loimos stood alone in the room now, the empire's and thus, Death's greatest enemy was naturally life itself, but one should not underestimate the enemies themselves, many within the empire were convinced that now that the pure living had been felled, that their champion was simply untouchable, that was a belief that Loimos did not share.

Although he and Thanatok Ynigós were definitely immensely strong powerhouses, it would be foolish to think that wide world were the laws were simply abnormal could not have anything that could challenge them, in this world, different realms were actually plentiful, oceans of water and oceans of lava could exist right next to one another and behave as though the other did not exist despite the two physically touching, suns could rise a few kilometers away from you, but if you weren't standing in the right area, you could have no idea and even be in nighttime.

There were beasts, monsters and mythical creatures, but regular animals could also ascend in power and dwarf all of them in strength, there were even forces that simply were not to be trifled with by anyone, such as the Abyss.

In fact, Loimos already knew of existences that should not be underestimated, Ronarkatast, The All-Draco and Dragonlord was a prime example, the sort of power he could unleash was most certainly potent enough to level an entire continent, if not more.

He had already been informed that the emerald folks had regal figures amongst themselves, although he did not yet know how powerful they were, the kind sun and All-Beast should not be underestimated, as were the Emerald Heralds and Divine Dancing Priestess, who knew the hierarchy of power in his current state.

Loimos thought of multiple scenarios and plans for various situations, currently, the enemies he knew best were the livings who had escaped from Tamaris and ran off here, from the intel he had been receiving, time had passed much slower in this realm than it had in the main world, none of the survivors had visibly aged that much, so even if some of them were powerful and could probably retain their youth for a long time, for those that were clearly much weaker, it indicated that at most ten years had passed since they had first arrived there.

He had even been told that Milo had fathered multiple children.

Although things had changed and their individual power had grown, their overall skill set remained the same, so in truth, it was more-so the native of the realm that were a cause for concern, the information on sun and beast worship was uncertain at best, the inner workings of these ways of power were mostly unknown, but it was clear that they were the potent kind, as all of those practicing them seemed like at least elites in their own rights.

And that, despite having lived the greater majority of their lives in absolute peace from the looks of it, barely any native had grown up whilst in conflict with the soldiers in white, so those who had fought were people who had lived without enemies for many years.

There was also the barrier, that thing was a well-crafted and far more refined version of what Loimos had gotten to see before, this one did not simply push back undeads and allow livings in, meaning that he couldn't just possess a living to be granted entry, this thing was advanced and knew to differentiate between enemy and ally.

Overall, although the most difficult had been done already, what followed was merely simpler by a small margin.

"Sir Loimos, I come to report that apocalypse knights and their entourage have arrived" apocalypse was something often associated with Loimos, so naturally, their were castes of knights, mages and the likes following the four main aspects and other things relating to the subject of the apocalypse.

"They wish to know if they should begin to spread the influence of the apocalypse yet or not"

"Tell them to prepare themselves to do so, but to wait for my signal"

"Understood… By the way, Sir, may you be troubled for a few moments?" the one speaking wore a mask whose expression morphed from impassiveness to a smile.

"I merely am standing in this room, I am not busy"

"That is great to hear! Sweet Holli wants to see you" the masked man was the leader of the Fin-Limiers, Arleqkin, his change into an undead had made him into an even greater threat than he used to be, and it made no doubt that he qualified to be a lieutenant.

But the Fin-Limiers were assassins first and foremost, and they had been working closely with Loimos from the very instant that they were all blessed with death, in terms of pure stealth, they were simply unmatched within the empire, even if one removed Maliah from the picture.

Moments later, a towering figure whose face had been ripped off, and was now home to countless kinds of undead worms and other wretched creatures, arrived beside Arleqkin.

Odicious, the ringleader seemed to be carrying something, which he carefully put down, and within a few seconds, something just crashed against Loimos, scaled him up, and finally sat on his shoulders.

Only then becoming visible.

"I missed you, Mister Loimos!"

Sweet Holli, as she was called, had once been something that most people, including Arleqkin and Maliah, thought to be a figment of the ringleader's imaginations, as he claimed to have been holding an invisible baby that could not be perceived.

But Holli was in fact real, but despite many, many years having passed since she was a baby, and having become an undead, she still had the appearance and mind of a child, she was definitely growing, but so slowly that most wouldn't even notice.

"Is that so?" and for some reason, out of all people, she had decided that the rotten skeleton was her favourite, truly, it was like he was a magnet.

"Yes! Am I allowed to go kill people outside?"

"The plan is to wait and not do anything for now"

"But will I be allowed to later?"

"Only under supervision"

"Aaw…"

Odicious had always claimed that Holli would be the future of the Fin-Limiers, that she would become an assassin that would surpass even Maliah.

At least, the ringleader was convinced that her capability for stealth would be unparalleled in the future.

She could already turn totally invisible at will, and most people wouldn't even notice she was there even if they bumped into her, so Holli was certainly going to have a bright future in assassination.

"Sir Loimos, I also bring the news that Maliah is doing perfectly fine for now… And also, One is here"
