Chapter 30 - 30 30 The Black Dragon Lord and Their Princesses
30: Chapter 30: The Black Dragon Lord and Their Princesses 30: Chapter 30: The Black Dragon Lord and Their Princesses [Indeed handsome, even as a guy, I’m smitten, dammit.
I wish I had that face.]
[Dragon bro, I want to have your monkey babies.]
[Dragon bro, consider getting into film, your talent would definitely make money, I’ve even thought of a title (A Night Unyielding to Dragons and Princesses).]
Seeing the direction the barrage of comments was taking become more and more bizarre, Mo Fei decisively chose to ignore them.
The advancement had been completed, and it was time for him to meet with the other Black Dragon Lords.
“Let’s go, I’ll take you somewhere.”
As Mo Fei spoke and prepared to leave the Dragon Cave, Katherine looked utterly uninterested.
“What’s the matter?”
“I’m hungry.”
Mo Fei felt somewhat of a headache.
The game being too realistic wasn’t necessarily a good thing, captives still needed to be fed daily.
Back in the dark Dragon Nest, feeding was a task managed by draconic subordinates.
Now that he had to do it personally, it was truly troublesome.
“Come on, I’ll take you out to eat.”
One human and one dragon walked out of the Dragon Cave, following the dark, cold obsidian passage toward the hall outside.
The draconians they encountered along the way initially showed surprise, but quickly recognized Mo Fei’s high status among the Dragon Race and bowed respectfully.
The draconians are a lower race of the Dragon Race, with a blood connection to dragons, enabling them to keenly sense the presence of dragons, especially the power of dragons of the same color.
Furthermore, draconians have a natural sense of awe towards the Dragon Race, making them the most useful subordinates.
When the two arrived at the banquet hall, they just happened to come upon several Black Dragon Lords having breakfast.
In fact, as dragons belong to supernatural beings that primarily need energy for growth, adult dragons can absorb power from the natural elements and thus do not have strict dietary needs.
However, most dragons are hedonistic and naturally indulge in eating, drinking, and pleasure-seeking.
This is where the benefit of transforming into human form becomes apparent.
Given the size of the adult dragons, if a group of Black Dragon Lords were to dine in their original forms, no amount of food would suffice to fill their bellies, and they would hardly taste anything by gobbling it down.
Furthermore, their eating manners would be atrocious — just imagine a group of dragons, each weighing hundreds of tons, hugging a mammoth or a Thunder Lizard and gnawing away, a sight utterly lacking in style.
But in human form, they could sit at lavish dining tables, using exquisite utensils made of pure gold and mithril, carefully savoring the fine dishes meticulously prepared by abducted court chefs.
The level of prestige immediately soared.
When Mo Fei entered, this was the scene he saw.
Several Black Dragon Lords had assumed their human avatars.
Tel’halasan, Lord of Howling Fjord, assumed the avatar of a very heroic-looking middle-aged man with a patchy beard, thick long hair, a sturdy body, and a friendly smile.
He seemed like a warm-hearted, middle-aged hunk, heartily drinking and eating meat.
Samerfield, known as the ‘Death in Mist’ by the residents of the Wetlands, took the form of a melancholic, handsome Night Elf.
He leaned back in his chair, holding a glass of Dalaran dark wine, slowly savoring its taste, with an air of a somewhat decadent artist.
Agnes, one of the only two female Black Dragon Lords, transformed into the image of an Elf lady with long, straight black hair, cool and noble, moving with grace.
She spent most of her time in human form, residing in the free city of Anfendor at the border of Quel’Thalas and Lordaeron.
Publicly, she was a low-profile Elf merchant, but behind the scenes, she controlled the entire city’s trade system.
It must be said, the Dragon Race’s aesthetic standards very much aligned with players’, choosing human or Elf avatars that were all about looks – if not stunningly beautiful, then strikingly handsome, all racing towards perfection.
Sitting together, the group indeed made a very pleasing sight to the eye.
Besides these few, there were several others in the banquet hall.
A gorgeous woman in a splendid gown was absent-mindedly tasting her food.
A female Tauren dressed in bright clothes was enthusiastically munching on a plate of mushrooms.
There was also a little silver-haired girl, struggling to battle a honey-roasted chicken.
And a bearded Dark Iron Dwarf, shamelessly gnawing on a roasted pig leg.
The comment section erupted once again.
[Wow, do all dragons look this good after turning human?
How can each one be more handsome than the last?]
[That black-haired, long, straight elf misses I feel like I’ve seen her somewhere before, so cool – if she were my wife, I’d dismantle my ribs and boil them into soup for her.]
[I think you wouldn’t even be enough to get stuck in her teeth.
She’s the Black Dragon Lord.]
[Damn it, I’m gonna go train a Dragon Race character too.]
[Dream on, the one above me.
To learn ‘transform into human form,’ you’d have to be at least a young dragon, a skeleton-level BOSS, and just the account creation fee would cost you a hundred thousand bucks.]
[Who needs to be handsome?
Just play as a commoner elf and you’re good, all of them are hotties, and it doesn’t cost a dime.]
[It’s not about looks; I feel like the human forms the Dragon Race turns into all have a special kind of aura, I don’t know how to explain it.]
[Is that black-skinned dwarf also the Black Dragon Lord?]
“Wow, wow, wow, look who we have here, Morphis?
Have you finally come to your senses and started using a human avatar?
Tsk tsk tsk, such an unimaginative image, another human, eh?
Why not learn from me – only a dwarf embodies true manliness.”
The one speaking was indeed the dark-skinned Dark Iron Dwarf, who, of course, was also a Black Dragon Lord in his true form.
Mo Fei twitched, “Agri Durim…
didn’t expect you to be here too.”
Mo Fei felt a bit helpless; this dragon’s personality was somewhat problematic, especially fond of making off-color jokes.
His choice of a human avatar was even more creative, opting for a bearded Dark Iron Dwarf, and his tastes were quite peculiar, making one wonder if there was a mix of Ogre or goblin bear-type creatures in his bloodline.
Seeing Mo Fei’s expression, the dwarf roared with laughter, heartily eating a roasted pig leg.
Agnes elegantly lifted her glass, “Please take a seat quickly or else Durim will finish off all the food.”
Samerfield’s eyes lit up when he saw Katherine standing next to Mo Fei.
He approached Katherine and bowed, “Hello, beautiful princess, Bard Samerfield at your service.”
Katherine responded uncertainly, her gaze still fixed on the food on the table.
“Don’t mind him; eat if you’re hungry.”
Katherine immediately shook off Samerfield’s hand and grabbed a piece of meat to start eating.
Samerfield made a hurt expression, “Morphis, even though you’ve changed your form, your heart is still as crude as ever.
Look at how hungry your princess is, completely lacking in grace.” Samerfield said regretfully, “Now, look at my companion, Princess Sabrina from Altland, how graceful she appears.”
The woman who had been tasting her food with elegance looked up and nodded at Mo Fei; however, when she saw Katherine, she appeared momentarily distracted.
“Katherine?”
Katherine noticed the woman and showed a surprised expression, “Sabrina?
I didn’t expect you also…”
They hadn’t expected to encounter an acquaintance.
“Hmph, you princesses are all so weak—ugh.”
Agri Durim burped loudly and waved toward a Tauren not far away, who was munching on mushrooms, and gave a slap on the Tauren’s protruding backside.
“Look, this is what I call a princess – admire this physique, this look.
To get her, I specifically ventured into Stranglethorn Vale and took down a giant gorilla dozens of meters tall.
Tauren Princess Pubal, how about that, you’re envious, right?
Hahaha.”
The female Tauren looked up at everyone, blinking with her innocent, large eyes.
Mo Fei thought to himself, this is a princess too?
Well, maybe she really is a princess, his logic is always so exotic, but then again, this wasn’t the first time.
He glanced at the unknown silver-haired loli, wondering where Terholarsen had found such a loli princess.
Yet, Terholarsen laughed loudly, “Hahaha, she’s not someone I kidnapped; but indeed, she is my little princess.
Norma, come and say hello to your Uncle Morphis.”
Mo Fei quickly offered congratulations, but inside he was baffled.
The human forms most black dragons take usually have black hair, so why was the loli silver-haired?
And how can your daughter transform into human form right after being born?
He didn’t dwell on it, since in theory, members of the Dragon Race could breed with any creature.
Maybe his old buddy had simply changed his taste.
Now, as Mo Fei took his seat in a vacant spot beside them, Terholarsen said mysteriously, “Speaking of princesses, you know who I just ran into?
Those two are here as well.”
