Chapter 694: Chapter 694: Duan Tang and Bai Yiming’s Reaction (5)
An Yiqing didn’t know how gifted she was, but when she opened the book and flipped to the first page, her heart gradually calmed down.
A warm breeze caressed her face, the temperature pleasant. An Yiqing sat cross-legged on the bed, feeling as though she had fallen into a vortex, her body light and buoyant.
As the book opened, before her eyes appeared a breathtaking scroll of a painting, featuring the vast expanse of the galaxy, with the Milky Way slowly flowing through. An Yiqing felt as if she were in the midst of the dazzling galaxy, her body feeling incredibly light.
Gradually, the vast universe in front of her began to change bit by bit. The countless rivers of stars around her began to dissipate, turning into a pitch-black void. Then, around An Yiqing, spots of light appeared, and these lights slowly became clearer.
Looking at the dense and intertwined glimmers around her, An Yiqing could not shake the feeling that these patterns seemed familiar.
As more lights appeared, and the patterns became more intricate, a flash of inspiration struck An Yiqing’s mind, and her eyes lit up!
These patterns, were they not the layout of the twenty-eight constellations?
The twenty-eight constellations were divided into four parts, according to their positions.
They were the Qinglong Constellation, the Vermilion Bird Constellation, the Xuanwu Constellation, and the White Tiger Constellation. Each constellation was made up of different stars, some containing dozens, and others only two or three stars. The ancients connected the stars within each constellation with imaginary lines, forming various shapes.
Staring in surprise at the slowly appearing shapes of the twenty-eight constellations, An Yiqing couldn’t help but widen her eyes. However, the changes did not stop there.
Suddenly, the constellation patterns in every direction began to change, slowly undergoing irregular transformations.
All the stars were moving, changing into various irregular shapes like transplanting flowers, completely disrupting the original patterns of the twenty-eight constellations.
What was happening? An Yiqing blinked her confused eyes a couple of times, at a loss.
Staring blankly at everything in front of her, she felt an odd sensation brewing in her heart, as if something was slowly sprouting in her mind, but she couldn’t grasp it.
Looking at the vast, dynamic scroll before her, An Yiqing felt as if she were a tiny speck floating in the mysterious universe, feeling insignificant and powerless, while at the same time, she couldn’t help but marvel at the universe’s power and mysteries.
So, when one’s strength reached the level of Shennong Shi’s Breaking Void to Divinity, one could actually depict such an astonishing Cultivation Technique. Indeed, it was like plucking stars from the sky with one’s hand!
As time ticked away second by second, An Yiqing even lost track of how long she had been there; the twenty-eight constellations continued to shift endlessly, following no discernible pattern, and the shapes they formed had no concrete concept. An Yiqing felt puzzled, wondering what these constellations were trying to achieve.
After quite some time, so long that An Yiqing didn’t know how many days had passed in the outside world, she was still clueless. She thought about leaving, but couldn’t find any way out. The vast starry universe was boundless, and An Yiqing didn’t know how she had arrived there, nor did she know how to leave.
She began to worry a bit. If time here didn’t correspond with time in the Ancient Space, could it be that many years had passed in the outside world by the time she left this place? The thought alone started making An Yiqing feel restless and agitated, and she didn’t even want to look at the constantly changing twenty-eight constellations anymore.
As the time of her stay grew longer, An Yiqing went from being calm to feeling irritated, then started experiencing severe anxiety, even letting her thoughts run wild. However, after a series of restless moments, An Yiqing quickly accepted the fact that she couldn’t leave.
Well, if this is where she was meant to be, then she should just accept it. There was no point in worrying since she couldn’t leave anyway.
After coming to terms with her situation, An Yiqing simply sat cross-legged in the void, calmed her mind, and closely observed the changes between the twenty-eight constellations.
Gradually, she actually began to discover the secrets hidden within!
