Chapter 65: Chapter 65 Act According to Circumstances

In the fitting room, everyone lined up in order to change into their uniforms.

Depending on the job position, the uniforms varied.

Shi Qing was just an ordinary staff member, so her outfit wasn’t that revealing.

She was holding a set of jet-black uniform, short-sleeved, knee-length skirt. After changing swiftly, she approached An Yin.

"What are you standing there for? Go change." Shi Qing urged.

An Yin looked at the uniform in her hand, which Shi Qing had given her earlier. She glanced at the fitting room behind her and hesitantly went in.

After she finished changing, Shi Qing’s gaze fell on An Yin, her eyes becoming unreadable and dark.

Despite An Yin’s young age, her figure was quite striking. The fitted clothes outlined her curvaceous body prominently, accentuating her figure.

Normally, during classes, An Yin wore sportswear, which hid her good figure very well.

Today’s uniform was considered conservative for someone working at a bar.

Her legs below the knees were dazzlingly white, slim and straight, instantly eye-catching! Coupled with her pure and flawless face, just one look could evoke a protective desire not to sully her.

Shi Qing didn’t know if bringing her here was right or wrong!

"We’ll put the clothes we changed out of in my locker first." Shi Qing spoke.

"Okay."

The two folded their clothes and placed them in the locker next to them.

When they walked outside, An Yin heard a melody of debaucherous sounds, not knowing where they came from.

"I’ll first show you where I work." Shi Qing walked ahead with a blank expression, introducing things as they went along.

She clearly treated An Yin as an apprentice, speaking patiently, and An Yin listened attentively.

"We’re heading to the VIP box, most of the time we just stand at the door and observe the situation."

"What situation to observe?" Shi Qing asked, looking confused.

Shi Qing paused her steps, turning to face her puzzled look, "When a customer comes to the box, you help them open the door, or if a customer comes out with any questions, you can try to help, and if you really don’t know how to handle it, find the supervisor."

"So, we just stand in this corridor?" An Yin asked, half-understandingly.

"That’s about right." Shi Qing nodded, seeing her still with an innocent face, she kindly reminded, "If you encounter a drunken man coming out of the box, don’t panic, ask where he wants to go. If his request isn’t too much, you can help out. If it’s something you can’t resolve, you can seek help from security."

After Shi Qing finished speaking, she pointed to a few burly men standing several meters apart along the corridor wall, "That’s them."

An Yin looked at those tall and strong men, her heart skipped a beat.

Who would dare to cause trouble with these men around; they were terrifying!

"I’ve got it," An Yin replied honestly.

Next, Shi Qing led her through various corners.

Ordinary boxes, halls, and, upstairs, suites for guests to rest, but these were only open to VIP clients of the bar...

An Yin didn’t expect the bar to be this big.

After walking for more than an hour, they finally got to know the bar’s internal structure thoroughly.

Afterward, Shi Qing led her back to the place exclusively for employee rest, a tiny resting room, but it was quite clean and offered free tea and fruits.

It was clear that working in this bar had decent benefits.

"After strolling around, how do you feel?" Shi Qing asked, pouring two cups of water in the tea room for them.

"Thank you." An Yin accepted.

On the sofa against the wall, the two sat side by side, with enough space in between to fit two more people.

An Yin held the glass cup with both hands, looking at the clean warm water inside. Her eyes flashed with a hint of determination, as if she had made a significant decision, "Shi Qing, I’ve thought it over, I want to try this part-time job."

Shi Qing wasn’t surprised by her answer.

Once someone has made up their mind, no amount of persuasion will work, and Shi Qing wasn’t one to meddle, "Alright, then go tell the supervisor, and discuss the salary too."

"Do I... go alone?" An Yin asked in astonishment, her eyes showing evident timidity.

"An Yin, since you plan to work here, you’ll face a lot on your own in the future, you should learn to adapt early, otherwise..."

Shi Qing didn’t continue.

An Yin wasn’t stupid, she could guess what Shi Qing meant: otherwise, she might as well leave early!

"Then I’ll go find Sister Mei." An Yin put down her cup, slowly stood up, and walked toward the door.

Shi Qing watched her delicate and soft manner, took a deep breath, gestured to stand, but stopped after a while, realizing there was no real obligation to manage her!

If she wanted to work here, she had to learn to adapt to the environment and people.

An Yin had a poor sense of direction, plus the bar was really big, with winding paths and corridors that had similar decor. After leaving the resting room, she tried to find Wen Mei’s office based on her vague memory.

As she traversed the corridors, she often encountered some scantily clad women, all heavily made-up, walking with a sway. Whenever she passed them, a pungent fragrance assaulted her senses, causing An Yin to quicken her pace, eager to distance herself from them.

A few striking women stopped, looking at each other, then began to discuss.

"Is that little girl new here?"

"What was she doing just now?"

"Does she look down on us?"

"Then why was she in such a hurry?"

"She’s wearing our bar’s uniform, seems just an ordinary server..."

"But, her looks are really..." The woman didn’t finish her sentence before the others shot her cold glances, prompting her to shut up.

None of the women there were selected without scrutiny, so how could they let themselves be outdone by a little girl in terms of looks?

They put on a cocky face, but inside they felt insecure!

After just a hurried glance, the girl’s appearance and figure were evident to all. Even though they didn’t want to admit she was stunningly beautiful, a few women were secretly worried.

Since they were all in the same bar, they’d cross paths often. Let’s see how well she handles serving men.

Hmph!

On the other side.

An Yin looked at the similar doors in the distance.

Which door did Shi Qing knock on earlier? An Yin stood in the corner, trying to avoid being noticed.

It was evening, and guests were starting to trickle in. The sound of guests chatting occasionally drifted from the corridor, followed by a server leading them to the box.

Feeling timid, An Yin hung her head, only daring to crane her neck to look around after they were gone.
