The two of them waited alertly on the spot for the arrival of Fulajie’er. It took her about five minutes to finally arrive, appearing directly in midair.

"All done!" Fulajie’er said with a sigh of relief.

"Why did it take so long?" Luo’er asked.

"Feng didn’t believe me; it took a long time to convince her not to follow us here. I’m exhausted," Fulajie’er said, pouting and looking utterly frustrated.

"You’ve worked hard," Luo’er comforted her.

"No trouble at all, I’m happy to be able to help," Fulajie’er said with a smile.

"Let’s get out of here quickly. We shouldn’t stay here any longer. If they find us, we’re done for," Hu Daoke, who was on the lookout, turned and urged them.

"Right, let’s go!" Luo’er nodded, and then the two of them continued towards the rendezvous point.

No matter when, there would always be an academy carriage parked at the predetermined spot, waiting for them to board. This was not just a service for the Advance Team, but actually, some approved Magic Academy students could also take the carriage, which was somewhat like a school bus.

The two hurried to the arranged location, and fortunately, since it was not yet the end of the workday, they saw the carriage parked there.

Since Luo’er often came and went from this route, he already knew the coachman, so without saying anything, they both boarded the carriage. The coachman glanced at them and then started urging the horses towards the academy.

"Well..." Hearing Hu Daoke’s question, Luo’er fell into a brief silence, then frowned and said, "If it really doesn’t work out, we’ll just have to let the two of them stay at the academy for the time being and continue their studies. The three of us can take Eve to the Snow Domain."

"I won’t keep you in suspense," Hu Daoke paused and coughed before continuing, "Eve said she wants to take us to the ancient tomb ruins in the Snow Domain to look for the Ancient Scripture. Put simply, it’s like treasure hunting. Boss, treasure hunting in the Otherworld is not the same as on Earth."

"Go on," Luo’er nodded and said.

"Think about it, there must be lots of traps inside the tomb ruins, and what kind of traps are most common in the Otherworld? Definitely Magic Array Traps, right? That brings us to the problem. The three of us are just blockheads when it comes to magic; I feel like we’d just be an offering if we went." Hu Daoke said.

"That makes sense," upon hearing Hu Daoke’s words, Luo’er suddenly had a realization, "Indeed, just like you said, the three of us can uphold the fighting power of the Advance Team, but when it comes to academic matters, we’re far behind. Without Moumou and Yue’er’s help, we’d definitely struggle in the tomb ruins."

To his surprise, Luo’er looked at Hu Daoke with an approving gaze and nodded in satisfaction, "I didn’t expect to be lectured by you this time. I can tell you’ve also made significant progress."

The carriage traveled along the street all the way to the Uptown District and then on to the academy. It was the end of the morning classes, and the academy was beginning to fill up with students.

The two got out of the carriage and walked, hooded, towards their apartment, keeping a low profile. Just as they reached the building, Luo’er was suddenly hugged from behind, which gave him quite a scare. If it was an ambush, Fulajie’er would have warned them in advance.

"Moumou, stop it, there are too many people here." Luo’er was taken aback for a moment before he realized who it was, then he unclasped the newcomer’s hands and turned around to speak.

However, as soon as he turned around, he froze on the spot, his expression turning awkward.

Because the person was not Tangmo, who he thought it was, but an unexpected Baiyue. Facing Luo’er, Baiyue’s cheeks instantly turned incredibly red, and she lowered her head, too shy to meet his gaze.

If Luo’er remembered correctly, the Baiyue he knew was supposed to be a reserved and shy girl, so when had she become so bold and open? This caught him slightly off-guard.

"Uh, well, sorry, I thought you were Moumou..." Stuck in an awkward situation, Luo’er scratched his head and offered a sheepish apology.

"Boss, get cozy inside, there are too many people here." Hu Daoke leaned in close to Luo’er and whispered.

"Whatever it is, let’s hurry upstairs. Let’s not stand here like fools any longer. If we get recognized by some people with ill intentions, it’ll be trouble." Hu Daoke said.

"Yeah, that’s true," Luo’er nodded and then turned to Baiyue, speaking softly, "Well, let’s go upstairs then."

"Mm." Baiyue pursed her lips and nodded vigorously.
