"No, but I did help you teach them, don’t I deserve some credit?" Yalunte turned to Li Si and asked.

"You’ve used this equipment the longest, you should know how flawed it is. After all, it’s an experimental product; it’s not much use to you now." Li Si explained.

"I’d just use it as a supplement, not as my main combat equipment." Yalunte replied.

"You can discuss it with the boss yourself then," Li Si shook his head helplessly, facing Yalunte’s relentless plea, and warned, "I must add, if you take this thing out, you absolutely cannot lose it, or sell it for booze, you got that?"

"Do I look like someone with no limits?" Yalunte defended himself.

"Cut the crap," Li Si said, then turned to Luo’er, "During your last mission to Saint Basaya, this old man took the money you guys gave him and squandered it all. In the end, even his horse was sold, forcing him to walk back in a pathetic state. Now I understand why the Headquarters only gave him such a small operating budget."

"Uh..." Luo’er was lost for words, both at Li Si and Yalunte.

"Alright, stop it. We can settle old scores later, shouldn’t we be learning how to use this Super Mobility Device now?" Cheng Ziang couldn’t bear watching it any longer. He walked forward and righteously said.

"Exactly, why do you keep bringing up irrelevant matters?" Hearing Cheng Ziang defending him, Yalunte quickly agreed, turning to Li Si.

"Okay then, you guys listen to the basic theory here. I’ll go get the equipment for you, then we can go for some hands-on training." Li Si didn’t argue with them any further. Instead, he sighed and said.

With Li Si’s departure, Yalunte became serious and started to explain the usage techniques of the Super Mobility Device to the Advance Team members in earnest.

Before long, Li Si returned with several brand new Super Mobility Devices. Each set was tailored to the Advance Team members’ data. However, Luo’er was pleasantly surprised to find they had also prepared a set for Feng. This implied that they had, at least internally at Headquarters, already considered Feng a member of the Advance Team.

As the highest-ranking officer at the frontline Headquarters, Wang Xu had quite a bit of decision-making power. Some matters didn’t even need to be reported upwards; he could make decisions himself. This included the issue of increasing or decreasing the size of the Advance Team.

In theory, as long as Wang Xu agreed, the Advance Team could freely increase its members without requiring approval from the higher-ups at Headquarters. Fulajie’er initially joined the Advance Team in this manner.

To Wang Xu, any person whom Luo’er trusted and approved of could be permitted to join the Advance Team. Despite Luo’er’s many setbacks, he was extremely observant. He could tell at a glance whether a person could be trusted and if they harbored ill intentions.

Therefore, generally, as long as Luo’er vouched for them, Wang Xu would never intervene. It was because of this that Fulajie’er and Feng had the opportunity to join the Advance Team.

While the Advance Team embodied the will of the Headquarters, its core was just the original five members. Even if many more members joined later, as long as these five remained loyal to the Headquarters, there would be no issues.

Under Yalunte’s guidance, the members of the Advance Team put on the Super Mobility Device. This set was skin-tight, coming with knee-high boots that gripped the calves tightly. Hu Daoke didn’t particularly like these boots as he lacked confidence in the curvature of his calves and felt they looked unattractive.

The entire set was a skin-tight design. After putting on the device, they could still wear their jackets and combat gear. The only thing they needed to pay attention to was the activation device on their left.

"Um, Brother Li, can we not wear these boots?" Hu Daoke asked with a sullen face.

"The Rune is engraved on the soles, don’t you fear breaking both your legs if you don’t wear them?" Li Si said.

"No, I mean why did they design them as high boots in the first place." Hu Daoke asked.

"Balance, this set of equipment prioritizes balance above all." Li Si explained.

"What’s the problem, don’t like wearing boots?" Cheng Ziang pulled the strap on his lower leg tighter and bent down towards Hu Daoke to ask.

"They look like...like women’s boots..." Hu Daoke complained.

"Give me a break, you’re complaining about knee-high boots today, if you were around when stockings and heels were only for men, you would’ve hanged yourself huh?" retorted Cheng Ziang.

"I don’t think my legs look good..." Hu Daoke confessed, his face showing his distress.

"They’re fine, don’t be so self-conscious!" Cheng Ziang looked down and reassured him.

"Luoer, Luoer, do I look good?" Tangmo ran excitedly over to Luoer, showing off the custom-fitted ultra-mobility gear she was wearing. Particularly, the boots perfectly outlined the graceful curve of her calves.

Baiyue silently walked in Luoer’s direction, head lowered, subtly exposing her calves and casting an expectant look at Luoer.

Although Tangmo and Baiyue were somewhat short, it did not mean they had stubby limbs. Despite their height, their body proportions were still perfect. It would be more appropriate to describe girls like them as petite rather than short.

Feng was awkwardly adjusting her gears while Yalunte came over to help. Seeing their actions, Cheng Ziang decided to lend a hand, taking a deep breath before asking, "Do you need my help?"

Upon hearing his words, Yalunte looked up at him, then broke into a knowing smile. He then straightened his back and said, "Come on, help your master’s junior sister change her gear."

"What nonsense are you speaking! If you don’t understand, don’t make things up!" Cheng Ziang rolled his eyes and began assisting Feng with her suit.

"By the way, according to your standards, what should I call my master’s junior sister?" Yalunte asked from the side, curiosity getting the better of him.

Cheng Ziang glanced at him, then said while adjusting the gears, "You call her senior aunt!"

"Isn’t that for men?" Yalunte paused to ask.

"According to our standards, there is no gender distinction for the seniors and juniors of a master. Those older than the master are called senior uncles, and those younger are called senior aunts," Cheng Ziang explained nonchalantly.

"Forget it, just call her Little Fengye," Yalunte suggested.

It took quite some time for everyone to get their gears on. Taking the opportunity as everyone else was getting ready, Luoer, who was already suited up, decided to go through the instructions manual.

As the captain, Luoer was more aware of her responsibilities than anybody else and intended to see if the manual highlighted any areas of concern.

Once everyone was ready, Luoer had them line up and check each other’s magic crystal for remaining magical power.

Cheng Ziang checked the magic crystal on Hu Daoke’s back and turned around to let him inspect his, then turned to Li Si and asked, "Brother Li, couldn’t you make a suit that allowed us to inspect our own crystals?"

"That is indeed an issue that needs to be addressed," Li Si said, shrugging his shoulders and adding with some helplessness, "But remember, this is the first generation of the suit. The first priority was to ensure functionality, not necessarily ease of use."

"Right, I almost forgot that we, the Advance Team, have always been the guinea pigs." Said Cheng Ziang with a hint of self-deprecation, then shook his head and turned away.

After completing the magic crystal check, Luoer handed over the lead to Yalunte to guide everyone in using the suits. The headquarters still had the Murong Squad on hand, so there was no urgent need for the Luoer Squad. However, this situation wouldn’t last forever, so they had to master the operation of these ultra-mobility suits as soon as possible.
