Actually, as Luo’er was a person from headquarters, he could totally resort to diplomatic relations and ask the queen, in Ilanadale’s name, to help the members of the Advance Team, rather than using the identity of a grandmother to save her grandson’s life.

I will arrange for a doctor to treat your teammates," concluded the queen politely."Could we perhaps contribute to the defense of Ilanadale?" Cheng Ziang did not leave as she had suggested but respectfully asked instead.

"That won’t be necessary. This is Ilanadale’s problem. I appreciate your goodwill, but we’ll handle this ourselves," the queen politely declined his suggestion.

"As partners, we ought to show mutual sincerity. Your Majesty, could you grant us the opportunity to demonstrate our sincerity?" Cheng Ziang asked persistently.

"This..." The queen was caught between a rock and a hard place.

"Your majesty, the main weapon of our headquarters is firearms, which might be more experienced in dealing with enemies who also use firearms," Nina added, speaking up for Cheng Ziang on the side.

"But it is risky; we could not allow you..." the queen responded hesitantly.

"What of it? Every citizen in Ilanadale is a warrior!" Nina retorted, removing her tiara and tying her hair into a ponytail.

"But you..." Cheng Ziang started to protest but quickly shut his mouth.

There was no way Nina couldn’t use a gun—when she pointed a gun at everyone that day, her posture and technique were impeccable, evidently trained by Luo Chuan himself.

Back at the treehouse, they instructed the Advance Team to prepare for the attack while leaving the Olavia Sisters to look after Luo’er. Shortly after, the doctors sent by the queen arrived to check on Luo’er’s condition. Once they confirmed he was stable, they left.

To save Luo’er, they needed the queen’s consent. Cheng Ziang tied the cooperation and Luo’er’s treatment together, which meant they needed to reach a preliminary agreement before Luo’er could be saved.
