Chapter 371: Chapter 364: Unlocked New Outfit

Soon, the attendant rushed in, carrying a pile of dark cloaks. Shariya handed over the cloaks to the Advance Team members, then spoke apologetically: "Put these on. There are too many prying eyes here, and I can’t guarantee that nothing will happen."

"Thank you, Dean!" Luo’er said, giving a respectful nod.

"You’re welcome!" Shariya nodded in return. Once everyone had donned their cloaks, he called for the attendant to lead Luo’er and the others to the staff dormitory.

The staff dormitory was more like an apartment complex than a typical dormitory. Clearly, these accommodations had been influenced by those of Earth during construction, designed as suites. Shariya’s assigned suite included a living room and four bedrooms, a layout that was conveniently able to accommodate a small squad.

Once they arrived at the dorm, Luo’er inspected it and found that both the orientation and the layout were perfect. There was even a private bathroom. He wondered whether these accommodations had been designed by Earthling architects on commission from the Academy.

"Oh my, what a blessing in disguise!" Given a chance to catch his breath, Hu Daoke leaned back in a luxurious leather armchair and sighed.

"As the saying goes, success begets more success and failure begets more failure!" Influenced by Hu Daoke, Cheng Ziang also began to relax.

Luo’er removed his shattered bulletproof vest, amidst protests from Tangmo, who wanted to check his injuries, and Baiyue, who was trying to remove his clothing. A stalemate ensued between them.

"Stop messing around, Moumou, and send the intel to see what our next instructions are!" Luo’er evaded her advances and sighed.

"I already have, we just wait for a response from headquarters; don’t move, let me take a look!" Tangmo struggled to undress him.

Hu Daoke gritted his teeth and grunted, retrieving a misshapen bullet from his bulletproof plate. He couldn’t help but be sentimental: "Poor guys like me don’t get any attention!"

"What do you mean by ’poor’, it’s clearly ’ugly’, you mean," Cheng Ziang satirized.

"Alright, alright, you’re the handsome one!" Hu Daoke replied, grunting again as he removed another bullet, murmuring with lingering fear, "Oh, I took so many hits. Thankfully I had this bulletproof plate, or else I would’ve been done for!"

After dropping everyone off at the dormitory, Shariya left in a hurry, with a stack of academy issues awaiting his attention, which kept him spinning.

Feliz also departed. She had to go home and reassure her family that she was fine, and to share her plans, hoping for their support.

Yalunte had Shariya place him in a single room when he arrived at the dorm. He had always been a solitary person and was not used to crowded spaces.

The skirmish with Fu’en was finally over, though the Advance Team wrapped up with a failure. But Luo’er was relieved that no one in the team had been killed or captured, and even their injuries were only minor.

The situation was as they had anticipated: headquarters had received the news about Fu’en from the Church Court and then relayed it to them. What they didn’t understand was how Fu’en had known there was a mole in their team. Was it a problem with the Church Court, or merely an accident?

In any case, all they could do was wait for an explanation from headquarters and further instructions. Modern special operations heavily relied on intelligence; without it, they felt like they were punching cotton—unable to put in any real effort. Only with a clear target could they become as sharp as a dagger.

Later, the attendant arrived with several sets of Academy uniforms, meant to help them disguise their identities. Because they were all mixed up, they had to painstakingly sort through them.

Hu Daoke and Cheng Ziang, being tall in stature, had uniforms that were easy to identify as they were larger. The clothes for Luo’er and the girls, however, had been jumbled together.

The Sacred Heart Magic Academy’s uniform was mainly of a darker color, but adorned with light-colored frills. Both the men’s and women’s versions were very similar in both pattern and style, except women’s uniforms had a little more frills and included a skirt.

"Ugh, it seems they are all girls’ sets!" Tangmo and Baiyue realized as they sorted out the pile, finding that all three sets were women’s uniforms.

"There must have been a mix-up. You two go ahead and change, I will have the attendant switch it out in a bit," Luo’er said, scratching his head in dismay.

"Why not, Luo’er, do you want to try on a girls’ uniform?" Tangmo picked up a blouse and asked, a playful glint in her eye. This design was different from what she had when she first came; obviously, the school had changed the style in a year.

"No, I’m not a girl, so why would I wear these clothes." Luo’er waved dismissively, rejecting her suggestion multiple times.

"Oh, you already look so much like a girl, come on, put it on and let us see!" Tangmo cooed, then yanked Baiyue into the plea. "Yue’er wants to see it too, right Yue’er?"

She winked at Baiyue repeatedly. Baiyue hesitated momentarily, then after some internal struggle, she reluctantly nodded.

"Yue’er, even you..." Luo’er felt a sense of betrayal. He hadn’t expected the person he trusted most to turn on him at such a moment.

"You two, come and stop them!" Luo’er, attempting to escape from Tangmo’s insistent grasp, called out for backup.

"Sorry, boss. Even though I’ve pledged loyalty to you before, at this moment I have to side with Sister Moumou," Hu Daoke declined, firmly taking the side of the betrayer.

"You..."

Luo’er was dumbfounded and looked at Cheng Ziang with hopeful eyes. Detecting Luo’er’s gaze, Cheng Ziang smirked and said innocently, "What are you looking at me for? I have always been a prankster!"

"You two..." Luo’er sighed softly and then released Tangmo’s wrist. "Enough, enough, I admit defeat, could you please get off me," he said.

This was not something Luo’er found unacceptable. He was a gentleman and very obliging, which is why people felt comfortable joking around with him. Except for during combat and missions, Luo’er hardly ever exercised his authority as a captain in front of them.

Luo’er dejectedly accepted the girls’ clothes that Tangmo had prepared for him and then went into the room alone. It didn’t take long for him to put on the school uniform for girls, and then he clumsily stuck his head out of the room.

"Let me see!" Tangmo rushed up to him excitedly and forcefully dragged him out of the room.

Luo’er was abruptly pulled out by her, standing shyly at the spot and seeming at a loss. Upon seeing his appearance, everyone was stunned.

Luo’er, wearing a girl’s outfit, had no incongruity at all. Instead, it seemed to subtract his masculinity and add a softness, making his embarrassed expression even more captivating.

As a half-blood elf, Luo’er had mostly inherited his mother’s powerful genes over his father’s. Thus, Luo’er’s facial features and skin perfectly reflected his mother’s, making everyone assume that his mother must have been an incredibly beautiful elf.

If not for his short black hair, which stubbornly retained some of his masculinity, it’s likely the others wouldn’t even recognize him now.

"You guys..." Luo’er buried his face shyly, unable to meet their gaze.

"Boss, if you were a girl, I would definitely go after you without hesitation!" Hu Daoke unabashedly expressed his feelings in front of the cross-dressed Luo’er.

"Me too!" Cheng Ziang joined in the fun, jokingly chiming in from the side.

"None of your confessions move me!" Luo’er twisted his head away, speaking awkwardly.

"You won’t have them anyway. Luo’er is mine, male or female!" Tangmo recited her most classic line and excitedly held him tight.

Baiyue approached excitedly, grasped his hand, and kept caressing his skin, a way in which the reserved her expressed her affection.

"Enough, let me go. I need to change my clothes!" Luo’er tried to push Tangmo away while helplessly saying this.

"No way, you look absolutely perfect in them!" Tangmo pouted and opposed.

"It’s not perfect at all, it’s chilling down there," Luo’er reddened his face as he pressed his skirt, and involuntarily crossed his legs together.

"Yue’er, quickly hide Luo’er’s clothes. I will stop him!" Tangmo hugged Luo’er tightly, preventing him from moving. Meanwhile, she turned and shouted loudly at Baiyue.

"Okay!" Baiyue nodded again and again, then obediently went into the room.

"What on earth are you planning?" Luo’er asked, both laughing and crying.

"Just try it on, quit fussing. You look so cute," Tangmo pouted.

"I don’t need to be cute, I am the captain!" Luo’er declined.

At this moment, a knock came from the door. Tangmo was taken aback and then said to Luo’er, "Captain, go open the door!"

"No! I need to go and change," Luo’er refused.

"Get going!" Tangmo gave him a push and sprinted into his room, swiftly shutting the door behind her.

Luo’er helplessly looked at the closed door, seeking help from the eyes of Hu Daoke and Cheng Ziang. But they both shook their hands, indicating they wouldn’t assist.

Sighing softly, Luo’er reluctantly walked to the door and opened it. The person standing at the door was Murong. He was shocked by Luo’er’s attire and stood speechless. After blinking for a while, he finally came to his senses and respectfully said, "Nice to meet you, Miss Luo’er!"

Upon hearing this, Hu Daoke and Cheng Ziang in the living room burst into laughter. Luo’er helplessly glanced at them, then turned his head to frown and said, "Enough, even you’re getting involved in this madness!"
