It seemed Zhuyan Yu had noticed Luo’er’s worries. She paused and then continued, "Looking at the current situation, it’s a done deal that the Earth will send troops to Otherworld."

"Really?" Luo’er asked.

"Mm, the UN Security Council has held more than a dozen meetings for this plan. Each time a meeting is held, opposition decreases. At this point, all the countries present have basically reached a consensus. It’s only a matter of time before troops are stationed," said Zhuyan Yu, who couldn’t help but throw a disdainful glance at Wang Xu and reprimanded, "You, as the highest-ranking official on the front line, don’t even know this international situation."

"I’m in charge of the Otherworld frontline, not the Earth one," Wang Xu shrugged, looking quite innocent.

"Teacher Zhu, you didn’t come here just to lecture us, did you?" Luo’er turned to look at Zhuyan Yu and asked.

"Of course not," Zhuyan Yu patted his shoulder and instructed, "Go and bring in the box by the door!"

"Oh!" Luo’er complied, turned around and went to the door, only to find a metal briefcase. He wondered if Zhuyan Yu was just being lazy, leaving it in the hallway like that.

"What is this? It’s so heavy." Luo’er’s face changed immediately as he strained to carry the briefcase back, "What ’s in this?" he asked.

"Put it on the table!" Zhuyan Yu, arms crossed, pointed at the desk.

Luo’er put the briefcase on the desk, making a loud thud that startled Wang Xu.

"Is this stuff going to be dangerous again?" Wang Xu pointed at the briefcase and asked in alarm.

"You’re right!" With a charming smile, Zhuyan Yu bent down and opened the briefcase revealing neatly arranged grenades.

"Are these golden grenades? So precious?" Seeing the grenades, Wang Xu seemed disappointed and spread his hands out to question.

"Of course not," Zhuyan Yu laughed and picked up a grenade, "These are magic crystal grenades."

Luo’er stepped forward and looked at the grenades in the briefcase. They looked just like regular cylindrical grenades, and he had no idea they were made of magic crystals.

He glanced at the grenades, and then at the magic crystal grenades in the bag, and couldn’t help but ask, "What’s the difference?"

"Of course there’s a difference," Zhuyan Yu picked up a magic crystal grenade and said, "Luo’er, you mentioned earlier you only remember one spell. But there are three types of magic crystal grenades here. Can you be sure you can use them all?"

"Of course not, unless I know the other two activation spells." Luo’er answered honestly.

"Exactly," Zhuyan Yu said, putting down the magic crystal, "These grenades use active runes to activate. If you don’t know the spell, they won’t work."

"That would be very dangerous. The grenades would explode as soon as they hit the ground." Hearing her words, Luo’er couldn’t help but step back. He wasn’ the only one - Wang Xu was already leaning back against the wall in fear.

"How is that possible?" Zhuyan Yu shook her head dismissively, "Luo’er, how do modern grenades work?"

"Talking about it, I haven’t seen you for quite a while, your cheeks are still as soft as ever!" Zhuyan Yu looked at Luo’er and couldn’t help but laugh.

"Huh?" Luo’er paused, raising his head to look at her. Facing her burning gaze, he felt somewhat at a loss.

"Enough is enough, I have my doubts about whether you joined the Origin Project just to be close to Luo’er." Wang Xu shook his head and couldn’t help but chime in.

"Of course. If it weren’t for you getting in my way, I would have succeeded long ago!" Zhuyan Yu joked half-seriously.

Even though it was a joke, upon hearing what Zhuyan Yu said, Luo’er instinctively took a step back, distancing himself from her.

"Major, if you have something to explain, hurry up. Seriously, it can’t be that you came to the Otherworld by yourself just to transport a box of grenades," Wang Xu said helplessly.

Seeing her serious demeanor, the two of them became solemn.

"Have any of you heard of Arya’s Blade?" Zhuyan Yu asked them.

"Never heard of it!" Luo’er thought for a second and then replied earnestly.

"Arya’s Blade is the king’s sword of the Aud Empire. Legend has it that Arya unified the northern continent with this divine weapon and established the Aud Empire," Zhuyan Yu explained.

"Oh, so people here still believe that an empire can be built with a single sword," Wang Xu couldn’t resist teasing.

"Can you keep quiet?" Zhuyan Yu turned her head and asked.

"No problem, Chief!" Wang Xu quickly shut up.

"After the split of the Aud Empire, this sword, a symbol of royal power, has been fought over by the northern countries. Whoever obtains this sword is considered the legitimate heir to the Aud people," Zhuyan Yu continued.

"What if the Bobulu or Blaiqi people get it?" Wang Xu couldn’t help but ask.

Zhuyan Yu didn’t answer; She just turned to glare at him. Wang Xu awkwardly averted his gaze and then said, "Never mind, carry on."

"Are we supposed to obtain this sword that represents the imperial jade seal?" Luo’er asked eagerly.

"You’re not completely right" Zhuyan Yu was a bit surprised by Luo’er’s question, but then said, "Headquarters wants this sword, not because it represents the imperial jade seal."

"Then why?" Luo’er asked.

"Do you know what another name for the Arya’s Blade is?" Zhuyan Yu inquired.

"What is it?"

"The Anti-Magic Blade!" Zhuyan Yu said.

"Anti-Magic?" Luo’er was stunned, as he was unfamiliar with the concept.

"In other words, this sword can tear through armor protected by the highest-grade defense runes!" Zhuyan Yu explained.

"The highest grade... It works on both physical and magic protection?" Luo’er queried.

"No matter what type of defense, once hit by this sword, it will be instantly invalidated," Zhuyan Yu stated.

"That’s impressive!" Luo’er nodded in agreement. He had a vivid impression of the protective power of Rune Armor. High-grade Rune Armor was all but impervious to mid-power rifle bullets, about as hurtful as a tickle. If there was a sword that could instantly tear such armor, it deserved the title of divine weapon, even if it was a cold weapon.

"We suspect the Anti-Magic Blade is engraved with a glyph that we’ve been desperately searching for," Zhuyan Yu revealed, looking at both of them before saying, word for word, "Anti-Magic Glyph!"

The Anti-Magic Glyph and the Anti-Gravity Glyph were considered the rarest glyphs in the Otherworld and were what the Magic Research Center at the headquarters was eagerly seeking. The search for the Anti-Gravity Glyph had some progress, mainly due to their close interaction with the High-peak people. However, the Anti-Magic Glyph had never been seen since the establishment of the research center. It was only briefly recorded in some epic texts.

The Anti-Magic Glyph, as the name suggests, is a type of glyph designed to break magic, mainly Rune Magic. They could render Rune Magic ineffective, stopping any intended functions.

The noble knights got away with anything because of the Defense Runes engraved on their armor. If these glyphs were instantly nullified, their armor’s protective power would be significantly weakened. Luo’er could imagine that if all their rifle bullets could break the Defense Runes on those armors, dealing with heavily armored knights would be a piece of cake. Without the Anti-Magic Glyph, facing heavy knights was like confronting a mountain. But once they had the Anti-Magic Glyph, the knights’ armor would seem as thin as tin.

Looking at the bigger picture, if Earth’s entire army equipped this Anti-Magic weapon, it might not completely reverse the disadvantage of fighting alien armies on their turf. But at the very least, it would neutralize the Otherworld armies’ defense advantage and maximize Earth people’s weapon power.
