Otaku Witch -
Chapter 898 - 898: 564. Reporting and Accidents
Time goes back five minutes ago.
Dorothy confidently led Sophia as they strolled through the God King Cathedral, chatting casually while admiring the scenic beauty of this small city full of churches.
I must say the architecture here is indeed exquisite. It truly lives up to its reputation as the Angel Witch Ancestral Court; the design and construction were meticulously done, almost reaching the pinnacle of religious architecture.
Each church has its unique style, representing different races and civilizations, yet together they form a surprisingly harmonious whole, prominently showcasing the solemnity of the central main cathedral, like gods surrounding the Divine King in the Pantheon.
As a civil engineering witch with aspirations to become a real estate mogul, Dorothy is quite interested in these fine buildings. Unfortunately, she came in a hurry during the last raid, so she didn't have time to appreciate the scenery.
But now she had some free time and was enjoying it, feeling she had learned a lot about architectural science, accumulating some inspiration for religious architecture.
However, compared to Dorothy, who was calmly enjoying the scenery, Sophia was not as composed.
"Miss, I advise you to stop before things get out of hand; you have a bright future ahead, there's no need to self-sabotage for my sake."
The Pure White Witch was vigilantly watching the surroundings while advising the young lady.
Just then, an Angel Witch patrolling squad appeared in front of them, causing Sophia to tense up as if facing a great enemy.
She was genuinely panicking, especially since the Judgment Court had already issued the highest Judgment Order against her, yet the young lady had not only disregarded the order but also brought her to this Angel Witch Ancestral Court for adventure. What would happen if they got caught?
Personally, she didn't care much, as she already had significant issues; there's no need to panic, it'd just add to her crimes.
Initially, she might have faced a death sentence, but with the Lord of Glory's emergence, she was unlikely to die, merely being exiled to heaven, which is much better than the originally anticipated outcome.
Thus, there was really no need for the young lady to take risks for her, for rejecting a Judgment Order and harboring a criminal was evidently a severe dereliction of duty. If discovered, not even the teacher could protect her.
The young lady's future was bright, and it wasn't worth staining her record for her.
Fortunately, they were not exposed, and the patrol squad passed by them, ignoring their presence as if they were invisible.
This relieved Sophia, while also making her admire the young lady's mastery of magic.
The patrolling team was composed entirely of Great Witches, and the leader was a seasoned Great Witch with a title. In a real fight, even with forty to fifty thousand mana, the young lady couldn't withstand a single hand from them.
Yet, despite the enormous gap in magic power, the patrol squad still couldn't see through the young lady's magical concealment.
This left the Pure White Witch with mixed feelings.
One could only say, worthy of the Spell Master Witch of the Forest, her magical skill was undeniably at the peak level.
Regarding Sophia's advice, Dorothy was indifferent.
"Alright, if you're worried about exposure, just keep quiet. I know what I'm doing, okay? You don't need to worry about me. Besides, you've already entrusted yourself to me; now you're mine, and maids are not allowed to randomly kiss their boss."
She dismissed the concern of her timid roommate and continued to stride forward.
Although the Angel Witches had clearly increased their guard, it was still of no concern to her.
During the last raid, she took the opportunity to familiarize herself with the terrain of the God King Cathedral and all sorts of barriers and mechanisms. It was like a test run.
Once is strange, twice is familiar. Now, as she returns, she is genuinely familiar with the place, perhaps even more so than most Angel Witches.
As for those patrolling squads...
Ugh, these embarrassing things are irrelevant; even without a peak level, they can't stop her with the spell slot enhancement now.
She's even too lazy to sneak and just relied on the Akari Technique to boldly lead Sophia through the main entrance.
It's not that the patrol squads aren't vigilant; they're simply too weak.
But seeing Sophia, who chose not to refute yet stubbornly looked at her, Dorothy sighed.
She knew her roommate just didn't want to burden her.
"Alright, I'm not acting recklessly; I reported to the authorities before taking action. The situation isn't as severe as you think."
"The Judgment Court is the judgment court of the Witch World, not the Angel Witch's, what I'm doing now at most can be considered a violation, but definitely not illegal. If discovered, it would merely result in a reprimand, followed by writing a reflection."
The homebody witch explained.
She wasn't lying either; she did report, specifically to the Future Fourth King. Although senior Fanny gave her a big white eye and angrily accused her of being blinded by beauty, ultimately she didn't stop her.
