Otaku Witch
Chapter 888 - 888: 560. Casting the Sun and Waking Up_2

The Power of Faith accumulated before had always been rather unused by Dorothy because she was never quite skilled at utilizing it. Moreover, trying to display her Power of Faith in front of a professional like Sophia would be like showing off a knife in front of a master swordsman—a sure way to get herself killed.

Although, to be fair, her good sister, Divine King Denisha, was actually the top expert in utilizing the Power of Faith. But given the time constraints during Witch's Night, Dorothy felt it was unnecessary to abandon her magic specialization and try to learn the unfamiliar application of the Power of Faith instead.

Now, however, it seemed that the accumulated faith finally had a place to be used.

However, she was still missing a very important thing to become a true Sun God—the Sun itself.

The Sun God and the Sun are actually two different things and should not be confused as one.

The Sun is the natural Sun God, but the Sun God is not necessarily the Sun.

The Sun and Moon are the twin eyes of the world, existing since the very beginning of the world's creation. Whereas, the Sun God and Moon God are the spiritual entities that naturally formed after the world's consciousness enlightened the Sun and Moon.

You could see them as the souls of the Sun and Moon, but merely souls.

The two deities, as souls, only have control over their respective bodies, while the ownership of the Sun and Moon actually belongs to the world itself.

It's like how a boss buys a car but is too lazy to drive it, so they find a driver for the car.

The car keys that represent the driving authority are the Sun God's Divinity, and the fuel used to run the car is the Sun God's Divine Power. The driver makes a living by driving this car, but the car's ownership does not belong to him; he only has the driving rights.

So now, the only problem is that the Sun in the Witch World has long been eaten by the Lord of Glory. So what can the new driver, Dorothy, drive?

This is quite awkward. She currently has the car keys and plenty of fuel, but no car to drive.

Of course, this is not an unsolvable problem. After all, the Sun God is more than just a driver. That would be too disgraceful. As the soul of the Sun, the Sun God is responsible for the daily management and maintenance of the Sun. Naturally, the Sun God has a thorough understanding of the Sun's structure and theoretically possesses the authority to create the Sun.

The Sun God is not just a driver but also a skilled car mechanic who can build a car from scratch.

If the car is gone, given enough time, it can be rebuilt.

The Sun itself is more like the Sun God's exclusive Divine Artifact, while the Sun God is one of those tool-reliant deities whose entire prowess relies on the Divine Artifact.

In fact, not just the Sun God, most original Nature God are also tool-reliant players.

However, Dorothy did not intend to truly create a new Sun. After all, that thing is not something that can be built in a short period. The construction time would be measured in at least thousands or tens of thousands of years, right?

And her Sun God's Authority is only effective during this Witch's Night. This is just a big dream. There is no actual need to rush the construction since, most likely, by the time the sun is half-finished, the Witch's Night will be over and she will wake up from the dream.

Moreover, having the car-building technology also requires having the materials for building the car. While she has the technology, the materials still need to be provided by the Mother of the World. Currently, as the Witch World is still in the process of resurrecting, it does not have the capacity to give her sufficient materials.

But now, the materials have come knocking at her door.

The Sun's Core that Sophia detonated was originally the Sun of the Witch World, perfectly compatible with the car keys Dorothy held. Thus, the brutal Solar Flame would naturally not harm her, the true master, and instead, felt a strong kinship, eagerly wanting to "return home."

The diffused Solar Flame was now gathering around Dorothy, the new Sun God, striving to reconstruct the form and place its new master on the throne that rightfully belonged to her.

Upon gradually understanding all of this, Dorothy breathed a sigh of relief.

Good news: she probably wouldn't die.

Bad news: these Solar Flames were instinctively gathering around her, but lacking spiritual wisdom, they clearly didn't know how to reassemble into a new Sun. If she actually let these flames keep sticking to her, she really might be overwhelmed and burst by these "enthusiastic" Solar Flames.

However, it's not a big problem. These flames were quite obedient. As long as Dorothy followed the Sun God's Sacred Duties and used the Sun's Blueprint to command the Solar Flame to recast the Sun, the Sun would be reborn, and naturally, she would be out of danger. She might even turn misfortune into a blessing and completely become the new Sun God.

This time, she truly returned to the profession of civil engineering witch, directly taking on the massive project of building a new Sun.

Dorothy began commanding the still eager Solar Flames to circle around her with the Sun God's Authority and the Sun's Blueprint, preventing them from further entering her body.

Fortunately, these Solar Flames were quite obedient. Countless scattered Solar Flames floated around her, and at first glance, they did appear to have formed the embryo of a Sun. Unfortunately, the Sun could not be simply a big fireball composed of piled-up flames.

Right now, it was merely a pile of bricks briefly stacked to resemble a house. Obviously, this was far from a qualified construction. Next, Dorothy would use these Solar Flames as bricks to build a brand new Sun.
