Only God -

Chapter 59: Chapter 55: The Supreme Father of Stars
Dertulian’s face couldn’t hide his disappointment; he had heard from his father that God occasionally left the mountaintop to go to distant places and observe the entire world.
Reason told Dertulian that he might just be unlucky, arriving at the mountain summit at the very time God had temporarily left.
Yet, deep in Dertulian’s heart, there was a faint, ominous premonition.
Had God left the people of Logos?
Dertulian shook his head vigorously, casting aside that inauspicious feeling.
Then, he raised his hand toward the tall tree branches and subconsciously plucked a leaf.
...
The pale storm that had happened a century ago had largely affected the world’s geography.
Although the storm was massive, it lasted only a day and did not change the form of life as previous ones had.
Yarlessto had visited the Unihorns several times, and had sent priests from his tribe to learn the Song of the Whale used for communication by the whales.
The Prophet’s son, as king, had endured a food crisis in the kingdom, and after welcoming prosperity, had taken on the mission bestowed by God.
"God says,"
"I truly tell you, you are the children of now, and they are the children of the future, to be brothers and sisters like two grains of wheat falling on the ground, neither lost."
Yarlessto was determined to impart the wisdom of the people of Logos to these brotherly Unihorns.
The king grasped that broken horn, now a scepter crafted by Logos’s finest craftsmen from the best Earth Dragon’s Bone, capable of manipulating seawater and summoning Unihorns.
Every time King Yarlessto traveled, this scepter almost always accompanied him, becoming a grand symbol of the king as the Prophet’s son in many eyes of Logos’s people.
The king raised the scepter in his hand, parting the seawater off the coast, wave after wave, summoning the Unihorns to come forth.
Yarlessto hoped to be a Wise King unmatched by successors.
He wished that when future people of Logos spoke of him, it wasn’t just simply as the Prophet’s son.
Instead, he wanted his name to be immortalized in age-old ballads and passed down through myths, withstanding the test of time so that future people would mention him with pride swelling their chests.
The Unihorns surfaced from the water, with the priests skilled in the Song of the Whale trailing behind Yarlessto.
King Yarlessto approached the broken horn, touched its head, and through their spiritual connection, clarified his purpose.
The broken horn joyfully flapped the water’s waves and quickly sang the Song of the Whale, calling for the leaders of its tribe to come.
Soon, an immense shadow appeared beneath the sea; a colossal creature emerged from the depths.
King Yarlessto looked at the enormous Unihorn obscuring half the sky, its gentle and deep eyes filled with a hint of caution.
The seawater slowly surged behind it, causing the skilled priests to instinctively step back.
Among them, only King Yarlessto stood his ground, his scepter emitting a faint blue light, pushing back the incoming waves.
The Whale King lowered its head, gazing at King Yarlessto.
King Yarlessto gazed back at it.
The terrestrial and marine realms’ sovereigns of rational beings quietly locked eyes.
King Yarlessto scrutinized the immense Whale King, aware that it was also scrutinizing him, and in those deep eyes, there were worries and doubts about the people of Logos.
At that moment, the broken horn glanced at the Whale King and then at Yarlessto, before splashing the water again.
Yarlessto gripped the scepter tightly and, through their spiritual connection, sensed the thoughts of the broken horn.
The broken horn spoke to him:
The Whale King is asking you for a promise, for an agreement.
"We are siblings ordained by God, what promise, what agreement do you seek?"
King Yarlessto took a step forward, facing the Whale King and asking.
The Whale King opened its mouth, emitting a long, solemn, and resonant soundwave.
The broken horn listened, serving as the medium of communication between the two sovereigns.
And afterward, the broken horn conveyed to King Yarlessto:
We claim the ocean, and the people of Logos shall not govern the sea.
For the people of Logos belong to the land, while the unicorns belong to the sea.
King Yarlessto listened to the broken horn’s retelling, one hand holding the scepter, the other pointing to the high mountains.
"Whale King,"
"No matter the past or the future, we shall not harm each other nor offend. For we are brethren, two grains of wheat flung onto the earth by God."
The Whale King gazed profoundly at King Yarlessto, the sovereign of the ocean, reaching a mutual understanding between the kings of the two species.
King Yarlessto locked eyes with the Whale King and solemnly declared:
"I vow in the name of God that the people of Logos will never invade your dominion over the ocean, even if the people of Logos vanish in the sands of time, even if the last of the Logos folk must starve or die of thirst on the land."
The broken horn relayed this lofty proclamation to the Whale King.
At this moment, the Whale King dropped the last of his wariness, issuing a long, joyful, and most solemn whale song.
The Whale King had sworn an oath with the king of the Logos people, the unicorns would remain God’s wheat forever, the two species as close as brothers, with the vast ocean aiding the people of Logos in vanquishing mighty foes.
"The boundless ocean belongs to you, and the vast land belongs to us!"
King Yarlessto raised his scepter high and made a solemn declaration.
From that moment on, a never-to-be-breached vow was established between the two species in the name of God.
And then, under the command of King Yarlessto, the priests of the Logos people shared centuries of accumulated knowledge of poetry, tanning, animal husbandry, and pottery with the unicorns.
The priests believed that just as the people of Logos drew inspiration in animal husbandry from fish and shrimp farming, these terrestrial technologies would one day also bring technological transformations and insights to the unicorns.
And these unicorns, brethren of the people of Logos, would soon establish a radiant undersea kingdom.

In the Celestial Kingdom.
Thunderbolt Star had been a hundred years since it last passed through the Celestial Kingdom and saw the world beyond the Ancient Chaos.
Constructed of lightning, this soulish being was realizing more each day what it essentially was.
Its wisdom and self-awareness were evolving much faster than the multitude of stars in the Celestial Kingdom.
Thunderbolt Star recognized it was a star enveloped in thunder.
This seemed like a trivial statement.
However...
Within this trivial statement was concealed a vitally important piece of information—it recognized what it fundamentally was.
It had learned to think deeply.
If a hundred years ago its intelligence was less than that of a magpie,
Now, looking at itself, it could compare to a monkey.
The stars of the Celestial Kingdom need not worry about hunger or thirst, thus allowing Thunderbolt Star ample time to think.
On the surface of the star, the humanoid soul constructed of lightning paced, immersed in contemplation.
It remembered,
During an unimaginably long period, it was merely a star without self-awareness.
Then... why suddenly one day did it learn to think? Why did it suddenly know who it was?
Everything must have an origin!
There should be...
An existence that endowed it with intelligence.
That must be the father of itself and all the stars, supreme and unparalleled.
