Chapter 364: Chapter 320 Birth of the Love God
The judgment occurred in that instant.
At the moment that Divine voice ceased, the trial ended.
Countless virtuous souls reached Heaven to partake in a flawless existence, while innumerable sinful souls fell into Hell until their past sins were redeemed.
After the judgment,
Solamus, in his capacity as the Prophet, made a covenant with God.
This covenant encompassed all the creatures of the world, through which God promised them all a chance to enter Heaven.
This opportunity depended on the creatures’ own wills and beliefs.
The destruction had ended, in that cataclysm, God did not account for anyone’s sins—resurrection and the sacrifice of Shan’en absolved everything.
Everything was concluded in an almost perfect full stop.
The Divine beings resurrected from the great battle beheld their Father on the throne, and for a moment, were at a loss for words.
The reign over the Celestial Kingdom no longer belonged to the past Divine King Shan En but to the Father on the throne.
Ultimately, it was Water God Angel who stepped forward, leading the Gods across the layered Cloud Sea.
"Shanon!"
Following Angel, Hiris could not help but call out tremblingly.
Astride the Cloud Sea, the craftsman saw his child’s figure.
Shanon turned his head and waved at his father.
Tears fell from Hiris’ weather-beaten eyes as he repeatedly murmured,
"All of this was worth it, so worth it..."
The reaction of the mountain and the God of craftsmen was merely a minor episode among the Gods.
The Divine beings gazed up at their Father on the throne, holding their breath; they who once feared Heaven’s arrival and even succumbed to the erosion of the Primordial Will, resulting in catastrophes.
They knew very well that, both in terms of power and reasoning, they had no grounds to negotiate with the Father.
Now, the Gods could only wait for the dispatch of the Father on the throne.
Chen Yi did not look their way,
His gaze lingered on the direction of the Golden Hall, now reduced to ashes.
There, a Divine being chose to sleep eternally, refusing resurrection.
The Gods below the throne held their breath and waited; Chen Yi’s silence coerced them into muteness, not uttering a single word.
For a long, long time...
"If you would see me as your Father, then go back, return to your respective realms."
Finally, Chen Yi spoke slowly.
The Gods looked astonished at their Father on the throne.
They had come here prepared to swear allegiance.
Thousands of Divine beings were poised to kneel before the throne, just as they once pledged their unwavering loyalty to Shan En, they were ready to declare their eternal submission to the Father above.
On the throne, Chen Yi saw what was in their hearts.
He spoke slowly,
"That throne does not belong to me,
I am your Father,
and Shan En is the King of these stars."
Beside the throne, several of God’s Great Angels also wore faces of surprise.
They had thought that God would take all authority over the Divine beings, taking over the throne from Shan En to rule the Gods.
But God did not.
Only Solamus understood God’s intention.
A child joyously created a throne, and that throne belonged solely to him, forever.
And in this most perfect and beautiful Heaven, there was already a white Divine Throne belonging to the Lord established.
God did not touch the kingly power over all the Divine beings; during that resurrection, all the sins that had occurred were erased, and the Golden Age continued.
Consider it a small relic, a faint trace of sorrow.
Let it continue.
As long as the stars of the Celestial Kingdom abide by His law, then everything is free, everything is possible.
The Gods retreated from Heaven, bearing complex emotions, and returned to the Country of Divines, each entering their own Temple.
Prophetic God Kagawus stopped.
He saw a familiar face.
On the pedestal, the Divine Statue of the God of Lies and Deceit was still shattered, but it would soon be restored.
Looking at Slaier before him, Kagawus felt complicated.
"Slaier...you..."
Prophetic God’s voice trembled slightly.
"Kagawus, don’t ask too much of me, I can’t answer too many questions, I swore to our king to guard this secret forever," Slaier said softly.
As Shan’en’s assistant, he had personally experienced it all.
The Country of Divines still remained, and the Golden Age was extended...
All this came from Shan’en’s choice, from the last will of the King of Gods.
Although he didn’t witness the father-son reunion firsthand, Slaier still guessed the reason behind it.
"So, Slaier, what do you want to tell me?"
Kagawus regained his composure and asked.
"Kagawus... I have been through much, and I know you have many doubts, many of which I cannot reveal to you," Slaier said as he gently touched the long-shattered Divine Statue,
"I can only say... our king, He shed tears for us, made sacrifices."
Kagawus froze.
He didn’t know what Slaier’s words meant, but when the sentence reached his ears, his whole body shook from the soul, and it took a long time to calm down.
After a long while, Kagawus slowly said,
"Then...Slaier, say no more..."
Slaier nodded slightly, and he slowly walked out of the Prophetic Temple, gazing at the vast expanse of stars before him.
In this desert-like sea of stars, even after thousands of years since the establishment of the Country of Divines, countless stars still had not awakened their self-awareness.
He looked around at the night sky, and then slowly focused on a magnificent star.
The star was holy and moving, its brilliance as splendid as camellias.
Slaier realized that a star had awakened its self-awareness.
A resurrection, a sacrifice, a judgment...
Amidst this, a new Divine being, for some reason, came to awakening.
That beautiful star gathered a might all its own, slowly manifesting into a holy and moving Divine being.
The Love God was born, He opened His eyes, looking bewilderedly at the world, and then, His gaze fell upon the vast Cloud Sea.
At the final descent of Heaven, He awakened, while the Divine on the throne watched Him, softly blessing this newborn child.
The Love God slowly approached the firmament, admiring that sacred brilliance, and inexplicably, as He drew closer, He saw the father on the throne, with a hint of sorrow in His eyes.
What was that sorrow about?
The Love God didn’t know, He simply gently reached out, wanting to touch the boundless light.
The longing for love made Him yearn to touch the supreme Great Love.
Existence is destruction, destruction is existence...
After Shan’en’s self-sacrifice, the Thunderbolt Star completely dimmed, and among the stars, the Love God was awakened, ushering in a rebirth.
All this, seemed to be the secret truth hidden in the world.
At last, at last...
On the throne, the Divine reached out His hand.
He gently touched, this child yearning to reach out to Him.
Because He remembered, thousands of years ago,
A soul full of thunderbolts, in the lonely universe, reached out... yearning to touch the outside world.
