Chapter 231 - 197: The Radiance of Solamus
Chapter 231: Chapter 197: The Radiance of Solamus
War God Saima stared at the Prophet holding the Priest’s Staff, his eyes brimming with hatred.
And the yet unawakened Primordial Will, sensing something, suddenly fluctuated violently, emitting more formless darkness.
Darkness shrouded the entire Historical Star.
Noen looked at the scene before him, which was almost identical to what he had seen in the Prophecy.
He no longer hesitated, lifting the Priest’s Staff with both hands and thrusting it into the ground.
"Solamus!"
As the chanting sound fell, the Priest’s Staff in Noen’s hands emanated a brilliant light, and a holy aura instantly permeated the air, revealing the Angel Grace upon him.
The radiance was like a long river, the majestic light formed a gateway to the Holy Realm. Beyond that gateway lay the dark-shrouded Historical Star, and behind it, the destined Celestial Kingdom, where sins are not revered, ugliness is discarded, and the true form of God sits upon the highest throne, awaiting the pure souls that will one day set foot in this place.
As the light faded, a Holy Great Angel with golden long hair and six wings stepped through the gateway of the Holy Realm. He held a sword and stood within the Celestial Kingdom.
His wings were pure white, and his body emitted a radiant glow.
The light of Solamus was like the refraction on the water’s surface, like a holy extension.
The Angel Leader of the Divine Kingdom came upon this Historical Star, and Prophet Noen, who possessed the Angel Grace, served as the bridge for Solamus’s descent.
The sudden appearance of Noen and Solamus disrupted the situation at hand.
Divine King Shan En looked at them in astonishment, then smiled and gazed intently at War God Saima with piercing eyes.
Solamus, too, after a fleeting glance at Divine King Shan En, pointed his sword at the representative of the Primordial Will.
Thunder swept across, and Divine King Shan En immediately threw thunderbolts towards the five projections, determined to entangle and even shatter these projections, allowing Solamus to contend with the War God.
Solamus lightly waved his six wings, and between the flashes of light, he appeared in front of War God Saima. He swung his sword formed from holy light, and as the sword blade flashed, Saima, unable to dodge, was slashed leaving a pale trail of blood.
War God, having formed projections of several divines, maintained these projections with his power, naturally diverting a part of his strength, thus reducing him from a Sixth Rank Divine to Fifth Rank.
Watching the brilliantly radiant Great Angel, the rage in Saima’s heart grew stronger, already dominated by the emotions of the Primordial Will.
Wielding the power of destruction, a giant sword slashed down, and the pale mighty force burst forth with the flashing of the sword light.
Solamus, like a dragonfly skimming the water, stepped on the sword light with his pure white bare feet, backing away step by step. The sword in his hand transformed into a light bow, the holy Flying Arrow forged from the kingdom’s white clouds, flashed by like a stream of light, instantly piercing War God Saima’s arm.
Enraged beyond measure, Saima unleashed countless sword winds from the giant sword, the pale force sweeping everything in its path, almost covering the sky.
Solamus turned into a stream of light, dodging and weaving, still hit by several sword winds. The pure white feathers from his wings kept falling, yet at the moment of landing, they transformed into light, forming a Holy Shield to protect Solamus.
On another front, Shan En engaged in battle with the five divine projections, with pursuing thunderbolts racing across the dark expanse.
The noble Divine King grew increasingly valiant, incessantly swinging the Thunder Spear voicing his supreme fighting spirit, and the multiple deep pits on the ground indicated the fierceness of the battle.
Divine King Shan En hurled tens of thousands of thunderbolts at the Dragon God’s projection, with intense explosions filling the sky, blackening the scales on the projection. It spat out Dragon Flame capable of melting everything, but Shan En turned into lightning to evade and then leapt onto the head of the projection, raising the Thunder Spear high.
He fell like a meteor, the Thunder Spear instantly penetrating the Dragon God’s head, thunder roiling within its entire body.
The Dragon God’s projection crumbled!
The Winter God’s projection spewed out chill air, instantly condensing into a freezing wind. Divine King Shan En blasted thunderbolts, tearing a path through, then hurled the Thunder Spear to utterly shred the Winter God’s projection as well.
The Stone God’s projection quickly erected three layers of stone walls, the Thunder Spear destroyed two layers before falling powerlessly to the ground, its tip piercing the earth. Shan En performed a folded leap, pulled up the Thunder Spear, and personally smashed the stone wall.
A torrent of thunder gathered at the spear tip, and then on the Thunder Giant’s spear thrust, it burst forth instantly.
The Stone God’s projection leaped fiercely, and in the nick of time, defended the Winter God’s projection from a torrent of thunder, but half of its body was destroyed by the thunder.
Like a meteorite, the Fire God’s projection smashed heavily onto the ground where Divine King Shan En stood.
Shan En transformed into lightning, instantly dodging the devastating blow.
As Divine King Shan En grew more and more valiant in battle, even though the projections of the Divines possessed the same power as the original Divines, they gradually could no longer match Him.
Divine King Shan En stood in midair, staring directly at the projections of the Divines in front of Him.
Suddenly, He sensed something.
One projection was missing.
Abruptly, Shan En looked towards the direction where Noen was.
Far away, Solamus was still entangled in battle with the War God Saiama, and even though Solamus had the upper hand, he could not deal a fatal blow to the War God before him.
Although Saiama allocated some power to create the projections of Divines, He was ultimately a representative of the Primordial Will.
The escalating fury ignited Him to disregard his wounds and relentlessly swing out sword winds without any defense.
As Solamus fought with Him, his Holy Shields barely withstood the sword winds, shaking and trembling; he swung his sword numerous times, his radiance piercing through Saiama’s limbs and body again and again.
Despite being covered in blood, the latter stubbornly clung to every opportunity to attack, not missing a single opening.
With such relentless attacks, the one to prevail at the end could only be Solamus.
At that moment, Solamus realized something.
The image of Noen flashed through his mind.
Solamus abruptly turned his head, his eyes wide with astonishment.
The projection of the Dream God swooped towards Noen.
And Noen, endowed with Angel Grace, was the bridge for Solamus’s descent.
Shan En’s figure disappeared with the light, as the king of the Country of Divines, was doing everything in his power to stop the Dream God from getting close.
The Thunder Spear that broke through the air instantly pierced through the chest of the Dream God.
However,
just before shattering, the projection of the Dream God revealed a sinister smile.
A wisp of invisible darkness emerged from the pale projection.
It was the invisible darkness of the Primordial Will that had eroded the War God and other Divines, which had obscured the brilliant sun forty times before.
The terrible darkness, faster than anything, reached in front of Noen and instantly invaded his chest.
Unprepared, Noen let out a painful wail.
The scenery before him gradually lost its color, starting to be enveloped by darkness.
The mighty power of the Primordial Will,
began to erode the soul of this Prophet,
just as it had eroded countless Divines before.
