Chapter 161: Chapter 139 Perhaps Noen Knows
Celestial Kingdom.
Curse God Yikabe stood in the Prophetic God’s Temple.
He had waited for quite some time.
Kagawus emerged from behind the Temple and walked towards the Curse God before him,
"Thank you, Yikabe, without you, my trust might have been difficult to fulfill."
Yikabe gave a slight nod.
Kagawus gazed at the vast cosmos outside the Temple and continued,
"I made three prophecies for this Golden Age. Once these three prophecies are realized, our Golden Age will fully arrive, and the order of the Gods will be established."
"Can this truly contend with our Father?"
Yikabe voiced his question.
His question was incisive.
Kagawus froze, then turned his head and shook it with a wry smile,
"I don’t know.
Although all Gods understand the importance of fate, in essence, they do not comprehend how fearsome fate really is, nor can they grasp it.
Yikabe, only those Divine beings of the Fifth Rank and above can sense the existence of the Fate Line, and only those of the Sixth Rank can see it.
Yet through my Prophetic Divine Power, even at the Fourth Rank, I can glimpse the course of the Fate Line.
As the Prophetic God, I understand the terror of fate better than all of you."
Yikabe, upon hearing this, glanced at the Prophetic Statue in the Temple.
Kagawus continued,
"Fate, I can predict, but not change.
In my eyes, every prophecy will inevitably come to pass, and that future is fated to arrive."
Yikabe turned his gaze towards Kagawus, perplexed,
"Then why..."
"You want to ask why Shan’en insists on establishing the Country of Divines, why the Gods insist on resisting the future that is fated to arrive?"
Kagawus retorted.
Yikabe nodded, these were indeed his questions.
The Prophetic God gave a bitter smile and then said,
"Prophecies are destined to be fulfilled, fate is destined to arrive,
but the manner of their fulfillment, the way they arrive, that’s the question."
The usually calm Curse God was stunned for a moment, incredulously staring at Kagawus.
Kagawus looked towards the vast cosmos and slowly said,
"At that time, I saw His Heaven rise above the Cloud Sea.
But what if His Heaven were based on the Country of Divines?"
"At that time, I saw He would establish an eternal covenant with the Gods,
but what if the covenant He establishes is based on the covenant of the Gods?"
"Do you understand, Yikabe, the exalted Curse,
for the Gods, a different form of the future’s realization means a diametrically opposite significance.
What we want is for Him to accept our rules, whether it’s His Heaven or His covenant, it must be founded upon the rules we have built."
Curse God Yikabe pondered for a moment, and then said slowly,
"We won’t succeed, it’s meaningless."
After witnessing the Father’s might that day, Yikabe believed that before the Father, everything the Gods prided themselves on was not worth mentioning.
Kagawus did not deny it.
He just looked up at the stars and sighed,
"Just as men on earth will resist the Gods,
Gods, too, will resist fate through the long stretches of time."

Before implementing her plans, Queen Isis had made a prophecy for herself.
The content of the prophecy was veiled, merely mentioning that she would send Casas and his companions to search for an item called the Golden Bull Horn, which was crucial to the entire Kingdom.
"Golden Bull Horn... what is that?"
Queen Isis was full of doubts, and after her regency, she requested a Priest to make a prophecy for her.
"Your Highness, my prophecy tells me that the Golden Bull Horn does not exist."
The Priest stood at the bottom of the hall, trembling with fear.
Evidently, the swift and decisive methods Queen Isis had used after gaining power cast a large shadow in people’s hearts.
"Does not exist?"
To the Priest’s surprise, Queen Isis did not become angry or make things difficult.
She was just puzzled,
"You say, how can it not exist?"
Seeing she was not enraged, the Priest felt as though he received amnesty and hesitated before saying,
"I assume... perhaps the Golden Bull Horn has not yet come into being, it does not exist now."
"You’re saying it will be born in the future?"
Queen Isis asked, finding it unbelievable,
"Could the Golden Bull Horn be a creation out of thin air by some deity?
Isn’t that something from nothing... which Divine has such might?"
Thinking this, Queen Isis coldly glanced at the Priest.
"Are you deceiving me? You haven’t actually made a prophecy?"
The Priest was so frightened that he knelt down and swore,
"Your Highness, I swear by the name of Kagawus, I have absolutely not deceived you! If you do not trust my words, Your Highness may have someone else make a prophecy!"
Upon hearing this, Queen Isis slightly nodded.
"Then you may leave for now, and I will have another make a prophecy immediately."
After dismissing the Priest, Queen Isis soon found a noble from the Three-eyed Ape People to make a prophecy about the Golden Bull Horn.
Days later, Queen Isis received the same reply.
"You also say the Golden Bull Horn does not exist?"
The noble’s demeanor was similar to that of the previous Priest, equally trembling and terrified.
"Your Highness, I too cannot believe my prophecy, but I dare not deceive you."
The noble explained in panic.
Queen Isis, hearing his tone, saw that he did not seem to be lying.
"So the Golden Bull Horn truly does not exist."
The Queen muttered.
Then, Queen Isis let the noble leave and began to pace alone in her chambers.
"Am I actually sending Casas to search for something that doesn’t exist?"
Queen Isis was puzzled and bewildered,
"Moreover, that non-existent thing is of crucial importance to the whole kingdom..."
Originally, Queen Isis had planned to execute the Yibia family, including Casas, upon taking the throne.
However, as a Three-eyed Ape Woman born with omens, she understood the power of prophecy far better than other Three-eyed Ape People.
She knew that perhaps her resistance to the prophecy would instead lead to its fulfillment.
Therefore, after much deliberation, Queen Isis decided to comply with the prophecy.
Thus, she summoned a priest from the Great Temple once again.
"As a queen blessed by the Prophetic God, I request you to predict where the once Prime Minister’s son, Casas, will go after I have pardoned him."
Since the golden bull horn did not exist, it was naturally impossible to predict its whereabouts.
Hence, Queen Isis decided to have someone predict the destination of Casas.
Several days later, the priest ascended to the palace, bringing Queen Isis a response so vague it could not have been more so.
"Your Highness, the great power of prophecy has revealed to me that,
after being pardoned by you, that son of the Prime Minister will go to..."
The priest carefully reported to Queen Isis,
"a place that a person named Noen intends to go to."
...
Who is Noen?
That was Queen Isis’s first reaction.
And which Noen is it?
That’s what the queen thought next.
Was it Noen, the firstborn of the Obi Family, or Noen, the second son of the Salman Family, or that female priest of the Great Temple named Noen?
Many Noens flickered through Queen Isis’s mind, but she never considered that this Noen was Noen, the slave from the Yibia family.
This is because Noen is a common name for nobles.
In the Ajia Kingdom, nobles have noble names, slaves have slave names, or often, no names at all.
The names of nobles are rich in meaning, such as those blessed by Kagawus or brilliant priests, or like Noen, which means an unrepayable favor.
On the other hand, slave names are much simpler, usually named after vulgar or common objects, such as Anger, meaning long arm, or Nu’er, meaning a faithful servant.
Few nobles would take the trouble to give a sophisticated name to a slave; after all, who gives their property a special title? Thus, many slaves do not have names at all and never have.
Queen Isis did not know which Noen it was, but she felt certain that Casas would know.
Thus, the queen didn’t order anyone to predict who Noen was but instead had someone predict where Noen intended to go.
When the predicting Three-eyed Ape-man ascended to the palace to report, Queen Isis was once again shocked.
"Your Highness, I cannot make a prediction, it’s as if... the great Kagawus does not permit me to predict..."
The predictor reported cautiously, well aware of how absurd his answer was.
Queen Isis found the response hard to believe.
From the opacity of the previous prophecy, she could see that Casas’s journey would be very strange, but she had not expected it to be this strange.
After the predictor swore repeatedly that there was no deception, Queen Isis then summoned another Three-eyed Ape-person to make the same prediction.
And the answer the queen received was the same.
No one could predict where Noen was heading.
As a mortal, Queen Isis naturally did not know that in the ancient times, Divine King Shan En had requested Kagawus and the Hidden God to work together to obscure the existence of the Logos people.
However, faced with an almost identical prophecy, Queen Isis wisely chose to give up; she no longer asked others to continue predicting.
After all, a Three-eyed Ape person can only make three prophecies in a lifetime, and for them, each prophecy is precious, a vital interest in their life.
Queen Isis, though decisive in her actions, did not wish to offend more people.
After executing her own uncle, Queen Isis then ordered that Casas be brought up to the palace.
The once illustrious son of the Prime Minister was driven up by two guards, almost dragged to the palace.
From his shabby appearance and gaunt face, Queen Isis could see that his confinement had not been easy.
"Yibia’s Casas."
Near the throne, Queen Isis said.
Casas listlessly lifted his eyes and saw the empty throne.
Queen Isis had summoned him alone, and except for the two of them, only guards were left in the incense-burning palace.
Casas sarcastically sneered:
"Your Highness, why do you not sit on your throne and instead stand to greet me?"
In the past, Casas would never have dared to speak like this.
But prison life had long worn away his will to live, leading him to mistake that death was all that awaited him.
"That is the throne of my son."
Queen Isis said expressionlessly,
"Under my guidance, he shall achieve greater feats than the former king."
Casas laughed, closing his eyes.
After a moment, he asked:
"Queen, when will you execute me and my father?"
Queen Isis did not respond; she slowly walked forward and waved her hand to let the guards release Casas.
Casas collapsed on the ground like a heap of mud.
"I do not intend to execute you."
"What?"
"On the contrary, I want you to complete a task for me."
"You, what are you talking about?"
Casas was bewildered, struggling to prop himself up.
"Didn’t you hear me clearly, Casas,"
Queen Isis continued:
"I want you to find the golden bull horn for me."
"Why? And, what is the golden bull horn?"
Casas was confused.
But the joy of survival overwhelmed his heart.
"Have you forgotten? More than ten days ago, you and I met in the Flower Garden of the palace."
Queen Isis revealed a cunning smile.
Casas suddenly realized he remembered the prophecy that the queen had mentioned.
"As for what the golden bull horn is, I do not know either.
But once you find it, I will pardon your family and restore you and your father’s noble status."
Queen Isis stated her conditions.
Casas knew he had no power to negotiate, so he hastily asked:
"Then... where is it?"
Queen Isis smiled and said:
"Perhaps Noen knows."
