Let me begin by saying the author is a serious racist and radical with Chinese supremacy.
The pre-racist chapters are actually quite good, very satisfying. The mc is vicious to his enemies and won't leave loose ends. But around chapter 150 or so, the racism arc 1 "North America" begins. I got through it no problems as I've built some tolerance to mild racism. They portray American woman as whores and men as group bedroom yoga enthusiasts, not too bad. Oh and Chinese woman who like Americans are the worst of the nympomaniacs in this novel.
But around chapter 170, the African racism arc 2 begins, with the classic "these black African non-nationals are simpleminded, violent, spineless, uncivilized (living in a whole in the mountains), etc. " sentiments. I tried getting through this but what made me disinterested in reading any further was this quote:
"Wuwahwahwah! I want to go back to Africa!!"
in chapter 179.
This novel pretty much degenerated into a racial drama with the Chinese always murdering other races. my opinion of Chinese people generally worsened from this novel. From reading this, I remembered the various genocides and ethnic cleansing that was normal to the Han people.
