Twenty minutes later, the two arrived at a fairly decent restaurant nearby.

The business was booming at the establishment, but since they had booked late, all the private rooms were full, so they had to sit in the main hall.

Director Liu had called over several colleagues from the comprehensive department who he got along with well, a mix of men and women, aged about twenty-five or twenty-six to thirty.

They were young but each one of them was shrewd; their gestures and movements were unspeakably slick.

"Come, come, come, take a seat."

Director Liu beckoned the two over and introduced them, "Let me introduce you all to Tian Xue, our esteemed Secretary Wu’s chief assistant – a bright future ahead!"

No sooner had he finished speaking than the comprehensive department colleagues began to shower them with flattery from all sides.

Tian Xue answered, "Secretary Wu is very beautiful."
