Chapter 93: Did You Kill Them All

Leo started flying above the ocean, only to sense a fleet rushing from the north. He flew toward them and quickly noticed several pirate ships heading south, causing him to follow them while his smile grew wider.

’Some things to kill, now let’s show them not to fuck with me,’ he thought.

Without thinking, Leo dived toward the surface and covered himself in a dark cloak which hid him thanks to the dark water. As he got close to the last vessel, he quickly slammed into the rear, which sent it crashing into the ship in front.

A loud crash rang out, but he didn’t stop there and started casting Thunderbolts into any pirates he came across. Soon enough, screams and fires erupted all across the fleet just as he crashed onto the biggest ship’s deck.

When the men and women saw this, they charged him but Leo used California Smash to kill all but the captain, who was shitting himself as he approached. He grabbed the older man by the throat before speaking, ’’Where is the rebel base? If you tell me, I’ll spare your life?’’

The man’s eyes widened in shock as he quickly revealed the location, causing Leo to smile as he snapped the pirate’s neck with a flick of his wrist. He threw the corpse into the sea below.

Following that, Leo took off and started flying south while looking for a big island where the rebels had set up. He soared through the stormy sky; the wind howling around him as dark clouds churned above the turbulent sea.

Lightning flashed in the distance, illuminating the churning waters below, while the rain lashed against his skin. His wings cut through the air with powerful strokes, the ocean stretching endlessly beneath him.

After what felt like an eternity, a silhouette emerged from the mist, a jagged island rising from the sea, its rocky cliffs barely visible through the storm. He grinned when he saw this and quickly rushed toward it.

As Leo drew closer to the island, a series of deafening booms rang out, followed by the crackling sound of cannons firing. Without hesitation, he dove sharply, the wave of mana blasts narrowly missing him as they tore through the air above.

He thrust his hand forward, summoning a dozen Thunderbolts that crackled with raw energy. The bolts streaked through the stormy sky, their sharp arcs of lightning slamming into the island’s defenses.

An explosion rang out, but this allowed Leo to get in close, and noticed several fortresses dotting the island, causing him to target them. He fully charged several Fireballs before slinging them at the fortifications.

The blue orbs of fire sliced through the air and peppered the first castle, causing the ground to shake. Following that, Leo rushed toward the chaos and spotted several soldiers on the wall, which he targeted.

Without missing a beat, he punched one of them before kicking another in the chest, which sent the soldier flying over the side of the wall. He continued attacking any enemy he came across.

An hour later, he threw the last soldier into the sea below after finding out there were several more castles littering the island. When Leo learned this, his excitement grew as he made his way to the place’s treasure room.

After searching for ten minutes, he found the room and sucked all the wealth into his Item Box, which put a smile on his face. Following that, he left the fortress behind and flew around the island while attacking the rebels.

He caught the enemies on the island completely off guard, unable to understand what was happening as Leo’s magic overwhelmed them in a relentless barrage, turning the rebels to ash.

The Thunderbolts and other spells he unleashed tore through their ranks, quickly reducing them to chaos and confusion. Within moments, the enemy was wiped out, their defenses shattered by the sheer force of his magic.

With the threat neutralized, Leo wasted no time. He shot into the sky, pushing himself to full speed as he set his sights on the capital. Once reaching the mainland, he landed on a nearby cliff and entered the Monster Domain.

Leo appeared in the treehouse only to be engulfed with a tight hug from Octavia, who exclaimed, ’’Did you kill them all?’’

He nodded before answering, ’’Yes, every rebel is dead and their hideout lay in ruins.’’

The princess beamed just as she kissed him, causing Leo to hold her waist while pushing herself against him. Shortly after that his stomach rumbled, and the two broke apart as Octavia giggled, ’’Go have a bath, I’ll make us some dinner.’’

Leo nodded at the blonde before standing up and making his way through the quiet tent, the faint sound of running water guiding him to the baths. Pushing open the door, a wave of warm steam that clung to his skin greeted him.

The room was serene, lit by the soft glow of lanterns, their light dancing off the surface of the steaming pool. He shed his gear and stepped to the edge, dipping a cautious toe into the water.

With a contented sigh, he eased himself in. The tension in his muscles melted away as the soothing warmth enveloped him, the stress momentarily forgotten as the hot water did wonders, loosening the dirt as he relaxed.

After half an hour, he decided to get out and started rinsing off. The door cracked open, and Octavia’s cheerful voice echoed through the room. ’’Leo! The food’s ready!’’

Leo chuckled softly, stepping out of the bath and grabbing a towel. ’’Got it, I’m coming,’’ he replied.

He put on some fresh clothes before stepping outside and heading for the small dining room that came with the space tent, which fascinated him when he got it from an uncommon spin a while back.

’This place feels so peaceful, and the smell of Octavia’s cooking is mouthwatering,’ he thought, his gaze shifting as the blonde stepped into view. She wore an apron, her radiant smile lighting up the room.
