Leo watched the Forest Lions vanish with a smile on his face as he pondered, ’I wonder how many monsters I’ll end up with within a few years.’

He shrugged before summoning the Nightweavers, who were giant dragonflies who flew off into the trees above. Once the monsters were gone, he left the Monster Domain and appeared in the tent the soldiers set up for him.

Thanks to burning through his mana, he slumped onto the nearby bed and fell into a comfortable sleep. Amara’s voice rang out the following morning, ’’Leo, it’s time to get up!’’ waking him. ’’We’re moving on.’’

He yawned, stretching his limbs as he sat up before finally getting out of bed. After slipping into fresh clothes, Leo stepped outside the tent, only to find the soldiers already dismantling it.

That’s when Amara appeared in front of him with a big smile as she spoke, ’’It will take an hour to pack everything up. Do you want to scout ahead with your flying spell?’’

Leo nodded with a smirk before scooping the older woman into a princess carry and quickly took off. Amara panicked and wrapped her arms around his shoulders while the duo flew over the landscape.

’Oh wow, it’s gone up so quick,’ he mused while looking at the purple-haired woman. ’This is going to be fun.’

As Leo flew across the Duskwood Empire, they saw hundreds of monsters that he bombarded with Fireballs. The flames washed over the creatures and burned them to ash, which shocked Amara.

’’I heard you were strong, but I never expected you to be this powerful,’’ she muttered. ’’Only the Founder had such strength.’’

When Leo heard this, he grew curious and questioned, ’’Who is the Founder?’’

The purple-haired woman turned to him with her glowing yellow eyes before explaining, ’’He’s the person who founded the Duskwood Empire thousands of years ago. His name was Amon Duskwood.’’

Leo was curious, but that’s when his Danger Sense kicked in. He quickly dived as a wave of arrows and spells flew at them. As this happened Amara commented, ’’Bandits are attacking! Let’s get them Hero.’’

Following that, he swooped down on the bandits before hitting several with Thunderbolt before landing with a thud. He let the older woman down, who started casting Fire Bolts into the backs of the attackers.

Leo jumped into the fray, his fists landing devastating blows on any bandit foolish enough to approach. Each punch echoed with a thunderous boom, taking them out in one blow. Ten minutes later, the battle was over; the outlaws lay dead.

Amara stood amidst the carnage, her sword dripping with blood. ’’I need to buy a cleaning spell,’’ Leo remarked, brushing futilely at his blood-splattered jacket. ’’It’d make fighting a lot easier if I didn’t have to worry about the mess.’’

The older woman giggled as she waved her hand while muttering something and all the blood covering them. This shocked Leo, who looked at the purple-haired woman while asking, ’’Can you teach me that spell please?’’

She didn’t respond, but reached into her bag and retrieved a book, placing it in his hands. ’’Here you go, Leo,’’ she said with a faint smile. ’’Just be sure to return it once you’ve learned the spell.’’

’’Thank you Amara,’’ he replied before picking her up once again and taking off. ’’Let’s go see if we can find any more bandits to kill.’’

An hour later, Leo came to the caravan that was being attacked by a swarm of bandits and other soldiers, which shocked Amara, but she quickly revealed. ’’Those are Sunfire Soldiers from the south.’’

When they got close, Leo dropped her off before kicking a man in the chest. The power of his strike blew the soldier apart into meat chunks that showered the enemies behind. Amara joined in and started cutting down some bandits that charged at them.

Following that, he used California Smash and punched toward the incoming soldiers, which tore them apart and eased the pressure on their allies. While Leo attacked the enemies while casting Healing Light on the injured men and women.

He used Mana Barrier to defend against several soldiers who tried to strike him, but he blew them away by using Supernova Punch, which annihilated the enemy. Ten minutes later, every bandit lay dead.

Leo noticed a dozen Duskwood soldiers injured, so he brought out Luna and Roxy to heal them. When the two girls appeared out of nowhere, he spoke. ’’Start tending to them so you level up. It will earn you experience to grow stronger.’’

They nodded before casting their spells over the men and women while Leo guarded them. As he did that, Amara approached with a curious expression as she questioned, ’’Where did these girls come from?’’

’’A secret and only members of my harem can know,’’ he answered with a smirk.

The older woman rolled her eyes before giggling. ’’Maybe one day I’ll find out this secret of yours.’’

Afterward, Luna and Roxy healed everyone, but Leo could see the exhaustion in their eyes. Recognizing their weariness, he gently led them into the Monster Domain to give them a chance to rest.

Leo made sure the two girls were comfortable in their rooms before returning to the real world. Amara led him to the carriage as the afternoon sun beamed down on them, but it didn’t stop the cold air from making him shiver.

Once inside, the older woman commented with an appreciative expression, ’’Thank you for helping the soldiers, Leo. It saved a lot of hassle for the healers.’’

He waved her away with a charming smile while replying, ’’You’re welcome beautiful, the emperor will reward me once we’re back in the capital.’’

Following that, the carriage continued down the road for hours. Monsters tried to attack but Leo quickly hit them with his spells that wiped out the attacking creatures, which helped him level up.

After the attack, he quickly checked his status to see how many levels he earned from killing all the monsters.
