Leo, Roxy, and the soldiers beat back the Gibberlings after fighting for half an hour which annoyed him as the monsters would appear out of nowhere and wildly swing their ramshackle blades.

’Damn things are annoying,’ he thought before punching one that got close to the blonde who yelped in fright.

Roxy looked at him with big green eyes and smiled while pointing out more Gibberlings that were rushing at them. He started using Fireball that burned the creatures and sent the others fleeing in terror but he didn’t let them go.

Leo chased them into the trees and whenever he caught he would cast Thunderbolt into their backs. The powerful spell tore them into two parts and they collapsed to the ground with a thud.

He killed a few more before returning to the group were on. When Leo returned the soldiers were tending to the injured as others cleared the road of bodies. Roxy rushed over to him with a beaming smile.

The blonde quickly hugged him while placing a wet kiss on his cheek before speaking, ’’Thank you for helping me babe, those monsters were creepy.’’

Leo waved her away while replying, ’’I wouldn’t let anything hurt you Rox. Now let’s get going.’’

Once he finished speaking he waved his hand while casting Healing Light on everyone which refreshed them. The soldiers turned to Leo with newfound respect and nodded as Agatha approached.

Her pink eyes gleamed as she flashed him a sweet smile, ’’Thank you for helping everyone, Leo. I will inform Father and I’m sure he will reward you for everything that’s happened.’’

When Leo heard this he smirked while eyeing the princess before answering, ’’Well I have you and your mother but I won’t say no to a treasure chest of gold.’’

Agatha and Roxy giggled as the blonde responded, ’’We should keep moving, the days don’t last too long it seems.’’

Leo noticed the brunette shivered when saying that causing his eyebrow to raise as he questioned, ’’What are those?’’

’’Go to the library, there’s a book written by my great-grandfather who fought the last one,’’ she replied. ’’I can’t do the story justice as it never interested me like it does with my big sister.’’

Following that the group continued down the road while Leo kept any monsters at bay using the Blood Griffin who was still eating a Gibberling it carried around. This scene made him laugh as the creature screeched at anyone who got close except him.

Leo sent the monster back to wherever it came from to get some rest. After doing that he turned to Agatha and asked, ’’Who’s the strongest in Duskwood?’’

When the brunette heard this she thought briefly and answered, ’’That would be Grandfather who is level 250 and knows dozens of spells.’’

’Interesting, it looks like I will catch up in no time and grow even stronger,’ he thought with a grin.

While walking Leo checked his level to see what the constant fighting brought him and also remembered to check his Charm Points.

’Shouldn’t take long to become the strongest in Duskwood but I need more power,’ Leo pondered while scanning the forest but couldn’t see anything.

Minutes later he quickly bought two divine spins to see if he could get anything good. The soft spins started sounding in his head while rejoining Roxy. Not long after that two notifications popped up which made him smile.

Leo got excited when reading that and turned to Roxy who was busy talking to Agatha and a female knight. He didn’t join in the conversation but decided to activate Mana Echo which rang out all of them.

’This thing extends for thirty meters and has room to grow,’ he thought while picking up several monsters heading in their direction.

Following that he cast Mana Barrier around the girls and soldiers just as a giant panther-like monster shot out of the trees, only to slam into the blue shield. Leo chuckled before dashing forward and started punching any creature that got close.

Without hesitation, he unleashed Meteor Fist that hit the panthers were reduced to nothing but chunks of flesh. However, in the chaos, one panther managed to leap onto his back, its fangs sinking deep into his shoulder.

’’Arghhh!’’ Leo gritted his teeth against the pain, his eyes blazing with fury. With a swift, brutal motion, he reached back, grabbed the creature’s head, and crushed its skull with a sickening crunch, blood splattering across his hands.

He continued killing the panthers with ease as they tried to attack the soldiers only to be blocked by his shield. Leo started casting Thunderbolt into the bigger groups which sent them flying all over the road.

The explosions caused the monster to flee deeper into the forest which annoyed Leo but he joined Roxy, Agatha, and a now flustered Anthony who was breathing heavily as the blonde commented, ’’How did you know they were going to attack?’’

’’The goddess gave me a skill called Mana Echo which allows me to sense everything around me,’’ he answered the curious girl, ’’When I activated it I spotted the monsters and started attacking.’’

When Leo finished speaking Roxy beamed out and exclaimed, ’’You will be the strongest on Thaloria soon babe! I can’t wait to see how far you can go.’’

Following that, Agatha and Anthony turned to him with wide eyes as the young man muttered in awe, ’’The goddess must favor him greatly, I must speak to father-in-law.’’

He started to internally chuckle as he thought, ’She’s no longer yours and when we camp I will ravage Roxy and the princess.’

Afterward, the group continued traveling down the road until reaching a large lake, that stretched into the distance. Leo stopped at the edge and looked out only to notice the water was peaceful.

’Mana Echo isn’t picking up anything,’ he mused as Roxy joined him.

’’I thought I’d tell you that I am growing stronger whenever we have sex, It’s improving everything about me,’’ she revealed.

Leo chuckled when hearing this, ’’I’m going to ravage you and Agatha tonight, thanks to our sex I’ve got millions of Charm Points,’’ he replied to the blonde.

Roxy stepped forward and grabbed his collar before kissing him. Leo reciprocated it while holding her waist as she pressed up against him.
