Sophie was momentarily stunned, then she acted as if nothing had happened and walked into the room.

She took off her coat, changed into a pair of comfortable shoes, and sat down on the sofa.

Asher Land’s tall figure was pressed close to hers, making Sophie feel somewhat cramped, so she moved aside.

Seeing her resist him, Asher Land naturally felt displeased.

"Looks like I truly made a mistake today," he cleared his throat, "I should have brought Anna home."

"Isn’t it a bit late to say that now?" Sophie sneered, "Oh, or maybe you can call her right now to keep you company, I’ll leave immediately."

"You..." Asher clenched his fist, but his expression was exceptionally calm, and then his lips curled into a charming arc, "I’ll call her right away."

Asher took out his phone and looked through his contacts, but, damn it, there were only a few simple contacts: Robert Williams, the secretary, and her.

He finally dialed the secretary’s number.

"Tell Anna to call me back," he succinctly conveyed his message to the secretary.

The secretary naturally didn’t dare to ask anything, she responded with a "Okay" and hung up.

Sophie couldn’t help but lose her composure; he truly intended for Anna to come over and then kick her out?

In just a few seconds, Asher’s phone began vibrating. He pressed the answer key, turned on the speaker, and tossed the phone onto the coffee table.

"President Land, you called me?" On the other end of the line was Anna’s syrupy sweet voice.

"Are you free now?" he asked indifferently.

"I am! Of course, I am!" Anna didn’t hesitate at all, even though it was already two o’clock in the morning.

"Good, I’ll send someone to pick you up, accompany me tonight."

"Really? President Land, don’t worry, Anna will definitely make you satisfied."

Asher responded nonchalantly, then hung up and made a call to Robert Williams, instructing him to bring Anna to the apartment.

He was using his actions to tell her how other women viewed his favor, that she shouldn’t continue being unappreciative.

Yet, she showed no emotion at all; she picked up her coat, ready to walk out.

Since a woman was coming to please him tonight, it was best for her, the eyesore, to leave early.

"Sophie, stop right there!" he shouted behind her.

What’s the matter again? He himself admitted to making the wrong decision; can’t she leave?

"I wouldn’t want to interfere with President Land having fun with other women." She smiled sarcastically.

"You..."

Why did this woman’s casual words always make him furious?

He paused, alright, this woman was eager for him to find other women, so he’d leave her alone, but he wouldn’t!

"I’ve decided, tonight both of you will accompany me."

"Asher Land, aren’t you disgusting!" Sophie hesitated not a moment, stepping out to leave.

He took a step forward with his long legs, blocking her path.

"Disgusting? I’m too happy for it to be disgusting, why would I be?" He continued his shamelessness.

There was an unnamed fury hidden in Sophie’s heart; looking at Asher Land who blocked her way, she lifted her foot, clad in high heels, and kicked his foot.

Asher grunted in pain. Damn it, had he been too nice to her? She actually dared to ’act violence’?

"Do you believe that you’ll pay a painful price for that kick?" He endured the pain from his foot, frowned, and said to her.
