"Miss Smith, are you looking for President Land?" The secretary came up, asking respectfully.

"Oh, yes." Although she had only been to the company once, the observant secretary recognized her and knew she was Asher Land’s acquaintance.

"Would you mind waiting in the office for a bit? President Land is in a meeting right now and should be done in about ten minutes."

"Thank you."

Sophie Smith walked to the office and only then remembered she just needed to return the phone to Asher Land. She could have just handed it over to the secretary, why waste time waiting for him? She felt foolish.

She was about to head out of the office when a tall figure suddenly barged in.

"Wow, what a beauty!" Luke Land clicked his tongue in admiration, "There are really a lot of beauties at Golden Era, it seems that Asher really has a knack for choosing."

"I’m not an employee of Golden Era." Sophie sensed the person wasn’t friendly, and was about to leave, but Luke Land blocked her way.

Sophie lowered her head, saying nothing. She didn’t know who this man was, only heard Asher call him Luke Land. Since they both had the last name "Land" and he dared to act recklessly in Asher’s office, there must be some closeness between them.

"I’m not from any prestigious family, my father is just a worker."

"Oh? Then how do you qualify to be my third brother’s woman?"
