The owner looked at her small, thin frame, still a bit surprised.

"Miss, are you alone?"

After waiting for about twenty minutes, the dishes she ordered finally arrived. She picked up the chopsticks, ready to indulge.

Usually, when dining with Asher Land, she always had to maintain a certain demeanor, but now she could finally be herself.

When eating, she had a bad habit of taking out her phone and browsing various news halfway through.

She was originally a very casual person, but after spending so much time with Asher, she was starting to lose herself.

She browsed through all sorts of gossip, and it seemed like the entertainment circle was quite peaceful recently.

"Sophie Smith!" A cold voice sounded above her, startling Sophie so much that she almost dropped her phone.

"You have quite an appetite!" Asher sneered, "Didn’t I say I would come back tonight? Why didn’t you wait to have dinner with me?"

"But I was really hungry, and I didn’t know when you’d be back. You didn’t give me a specific time," she said, a bit aggrieved.

Seeing her like this softened his heart a bit, and he pulled out a chair to sit opposite her.

"Another set of utensils, please," Asher Land said to a server nearby.

To be honest, with Asher Land in a well-tailored suit sitting in this small restaurant, the scene was a bit out of place, and the table that seemed just right before now appeared a bit small.

"Uh, do you want to order a few more dishes?" Sophie asked softly.

"Sophie, is it appropriate for a woman to eat so much? Are you a pig?" Asher bluntly expressed his disdain.

"I... I haven’t had a full meal in a long time. Is there a problem with just four dishes?"

Sophie retorted defiantly.

"Are you saying I haven’t been feeding you well?"

Sophie thought for a moment and then nodded. Since it had come to this, she might as well say it.

"I don’t like going to Italian restaurants, nor do I like going to French restaurants. I just like local diners," she said, enunciating each word.

Asher was momentarily stunned but said nothing.

Sophie hadn’t expected Asher would actually eat in this small restaurant. Although he didn’t seem to have much appetite, he did eat.

"Do you want a drink?" Sophie asked Asher from in front of the vending machine.

"Mineral water."

"Oh." Sophie got a yogurt for herself and a bottle of mineral water for Asher. He was a true health enthusiast, with a very regular and healthy diet. He avoided high-calorie foods and soft drinks, and despite being very busy with work, he went to the gym three times a week. In terms of looks and physique, he could easily rank at the top even in the entertainment industry.
