Nine Star Hegemon Body Arts

I do not need to read this to know it is going to be absolutly repetitive. There was no novel above 3000 chapters that kept the uniqueness and plot above average. The story may be good but just the fact that 6000 chapters andno conclusion makes me lose allhope in the story and in the writer himself.

So to begin, my feeling for this novel are mixed. I adore this show, while simultaneously feel disinterested to continue reading. It really is a love-hate relationship between me and this baddie. For reference, I've read up to chapter 4066. I really liked the premise, and the first hundreds of chapters, everything felt Unique. And do not get me wronged, the show still has unique elements, at least to me, which make me consider going on. The story is more than decent and engaging, the characters are fleshed out and humane, especially the FMCs, who usually are walking meat-bags with no personality, acting beautifully for the MC. Well, that does get worse over time, due to the fact that more characters = more dialogue and screentime to manage. 

Now, moving to the spicy part ... our MC. Man is a chad to all others, but gentle to his lovers. My pet peeve with this novel are the lovers who are 'preserving' themselves for marriage. Before I get massbombed with dislikes by all my wait-for-after-marriage brothers, I do not feel a strong opinion regarding this matter, both sides are correct to feel what they wish to. I just hate how our main character is getting c*ck-blocked by his own lovers at the worst times. Like brother had an opportunity with one his lovers, but never got down to it, but the SETTING was more than perfect. The author builds it up perfectly to tease before throwing all our expectations down the abyss. In a sense, my pet-peeve is with the author and not the novel itself.

Moving on to the Harem, I would say its fine, like most of the are fleshed out in the beginning, still stay relevant later on, and will continue getting stronger to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with MC. So nothing really to complain there. Due to the fact that there are multiple female characters to manage, they don't all manage to get as much screen time as I would like. However, among the Chinese web novels, the females characters here are written definitely better. You may digress with me, and that is fine. 

My though process got jumbled, so I will stop here. All in all, among the chinese novels about cultivation, it shares some similar traits (such as many chapters and somewhat repetitive parts, but I still like it. Slap 5 stars on that thing and give it a go. You will either go to cultivation novel hell and meet me there, or choose to keep your sanity and leave. Good luck.   

Nine Star Hegemon Body Art is by far my favorite web novel thus far and trust me when I say I'm read more than my fair share. Is it the best writing ever? Absolutely not. However it highly entertaining. If you were a Dragonball fan growing you'd understand what I mean. Sure there are more flushed out stories but sometimes you just want to read about people overcoming adversity and slapping the villains teeth out. This story has both in spades. Every year for the last four years I began the story anew as I wait for my daily updates. Long Chen has that shonen manga protagonist aura complete with unyielding loyalty to his friends that I absolutely love. I cannot wait to return one day to update my comment when he stands atop of the Nine Heavens and Ten Lands. Hopefully that day is far into the future because I'm not ready for the story to end. I hope you enjoy the story as much as as I do

The Most repetitive wuxia I have ever read it had potential but wasted it again and again. I originally enjoyed it but that I noticed the story kept going through the same progression pattern again and again.

I can't put in words how much I love this novel. Everything about it feels unreal, there are better novels out there in terms of writing but I can tell you right now.. this is the most entertaining novel EVER. Nothing will top this novel. Long Chen is also the greatest MC in all of chinese fantasy that I have yet to see, he is the complete package. Get ready for a ton of heaven defying, badass moments and breathtaking laughs.
