Chapter 479: Chapter 479 Youl Ling

Gazing into the dense white fog ahead, Shi Feng turned his head and said to Shi Jinsuai, "I’ll go take a look!"

Shi Feng had always been curious about the Ghost Ship, so when Shi Feng spoke up, Shi Jinsuai didn’t feel any great curiosity himself. Seeing that Shi Feng was about to move, Shi Jinsuai quickly said, "Brother Shi, wait a moment."

Shi Feng turned his head back at Shi Jinsuai’s sudden call and looked at him with a puzzled expression.

Shi Jinsuai smiled at Shi Feng and said, "I’ll go with you." Shi Jinsuai himself was incredibly curious about the legend of the Ghost Ship, so his desire to join was no surprise.

"Mmm, okay!" Shi Feng nodded at Shi Jinsuai, and then the two of them moved and flew into the thick fog ahead.

"The young master has entered the Ghost Ship!"

"Young master, you can’t go!"

"Young master, you mustn’t endanger yourself like this!"

As the guards watched Shi Jinsuai fly into the fog, they called out urgently. At that moment, a dozen Martial Artists capable of Space-breaking flight also quickly pursued in Shi Jinsuai’s direction.

But then came Shi Jinsuai’s stern shout, "Stop, all of you! Stay on the ship for your master, and don’t make a mistake!"

"Yes!"

Following Shi Jinsuai’s command, everyone stopped pursuing and responded respectfully. They watched as the figures of Shi Feng and Shi Jinsuai were swallowed by the thick fog in the blink of an eye, completely concealed by it.

As soon as Shi Feng entered the fog, he saw a huge dark shadow looming over the sea beneath the fog. Suddenly, a strange, sinister, and cold aura emanated from the dark shadow below.

Shi Feng, with his sensitivity to yin spirits, sensed the presence of Yin Souls on the Ghost Ship below.

"Indeed, it is a Ghost Ship!" Shi Feng murmured, and judging from the aura emitted by these Yin Souls, they had turned into Evil Ghosts.

Seeing Shi Feng stop abruptly, Shi Jinsuai also halted and turned his head to look at Shi Feng, asking for his opinion, "Brother Shi, shall we go down?"

"Let’s go!" Shi Feng commanded in a low voice. Then, together with Shi Jinsuai, they descended toward the immense dark shadow below. As they grew closer to the shadow, the sounds of mournful wails drifted from above, heard not just by Shi Feng but also by Shi Jinsuai beside him.

"Could this... could this really be the work of ghosts?" Shi Jinsuai asked Shi Feng, taken aback by the wails.

"Indeed, they are ghosts," Shi Feng said, then turned his head and asked with a smile, "What, are you scared?"

Hearing this, Shi Jinsuai laughed a little and said proudly, "I am a Martial Venerable, full of vigor and vitality; ghosts wouldn’t dare approach me!"

After hearing Shi Jinsuai’s words, Shi Feng continued to smile, "That applies to ordinary ghosts, certainly. However, the ghosts on this Ghost Ship are extraordinarily powerful Evil Spirits. I’m afraid the Martial Venerable Realm won’t be of much use here!"

"Haha, Brother Shi actually has a sense of humor now," Shi Jinsuai said, shaking his head after hearing Shi Feng’s words.

Shi Feng also shook his head and didn’t say much more. In fact, he wasn’t joking.

Soon after, the dark shadow below gradually became clear. A massive ship, double the size of Shi Jinsuai’s merchant vessel, appeared in their sight.

Despite its size, the ship was in ruins, full of cracks. With a "thud! thud!" Shi Feng and Shi Jinsuai landed on the deck of the large ship.

However, as soon as they stepped onto the Ghost Ship, the wailing cries they had heard earlier suddenly disappeared. The whole ship became silent and eerie, chilling to the core.

The two wore solemn expressions, scanning their surroundings vigilantly. Shi Jinsuai didn’t notice anything, but Shi Feng spotted a pale figure hiding not too far away on the deck, showing only half its body with the lower half phasing through the deck.

It was an old figure with a ghostly pallor, whose blank, white eyes were maliciously staring at Shi Feng and Shi Jinsuai.

"Hmph! Wicked creature!" Looking at the old Evil Ghost, Shi Feng snorted disdainfully. It was just a yin spirit, an Evil Spirit at the Third-stage Spirit Realm.

Soon after, the old Evil Ghost realized something was amiss. A look of surprise crossed his malevolent old face as he saw Shi Feng staring at him, almost as if toying with a mouse.

Sensing danger, the old Evil Ghost moved to burrow into the deck.

"Hmph! Trying to run!" Shi Feng taunted the old Evil Ghost with a cold, teasing smile. Immediately, his Soul Power surged, forming an invisible vortex at his forehead.

"Ah! What’s happening! What’s happening!" The old Evil Ghost’s pale face filled with panic as he realized he had completely lost control of his body.

Then, a powerful force that he couldn’t resist sucked him towards Shi Feng. "Ah! No! Spare me!"

The old Evil Ghost let out a fierce scream, but as he neared Shi Feng, he was pulverized under the Five-star Soul Vortex and devoured by Shi Feng, becoming nourishment for Shi Feng’s Yin Soul Power!

"Brother Shi, did you hear something just now?" Just then, Shi Jinsuai heard the old ghost’s shrill scream and urgently asked Shi Feng.

"I just subdued an Evil Ghost! It was that ghost’s scream," Shi Feng honestly replied.

"So, even on my merchant ship, it seems unlikely you’d joke around. Yet at a time like this, you really have the mood for jokes!" Shi Jinsuai said with a wry smile after hearing Shi Feng’s words.

Shi Feng didn’t explain much to Shi Jinsuai and said, "I find I’m starting to like this Ghost Ship. Let’s continue exploring, see if we can discover anything."

"Right!" Shi Jinsuai nodded gravely, his gaze still searching. Those brothers who had boarded and then screamed pitifully—he didn’t know where they’d gone. Now that he was on this Ghost Ship, he couldn’t even find their corpses.

Afterward, Shi Feng and Shi Jinsuai continued to make their way across the ship. Not long after, they arrived at the entrance to the Ghost Ship’s cabin and entered.

Upon entering the cabin, they were met with darkness. Then, in front of them, a ghostly pale face appeared—white as paper. It was the face of an old crone, who was currently giving Shi Feng and Shi Jinsuai a sinister and eerie smile.

"Ah!" Suddenly, another incredibly piercing scream rang out on the Ghost Ship.
