Chapter 331: Chapter 331 Gui Yinzi

Hong Yue walked forward, approached the dilapidated wooden door that seemed as if it could be pushed over with a gentle nudge, and stretched out her hand to knock lightly four times on the door.

Then, Hong Yue paused for a moment, before her hand knocked softly six more times on the wooden door. She paused again, and after a short while, knocked twice more.

"Screech—" Under a piercing friction sound, Shi Feng saw that the wooden door was slowly swinging open from right to left. An old man, his hair a messy gray-white, his face covered in wrinkles, and his clothes patched all over, appeared in everyone’s sight.

While smoking his dry tobacco pipe, the old man’s seemingly turbid eyes first sized up Hong Yue, then turned to inspect Little Moli and Shi Feng who were behind her.

"Senior!" Hong Yue, upon seeing this old man, slightly bowed and called out to him. It seemed to Shi Feng that Hong Yue recognized the guardian of the entrance.

"Mmm!" The old man slowly nodded his head, took a puff from his pipe, and then said to Hong Yue in front of him, "Come in." After speaking, the old man stepped aside.

"Thank you, Senior." Hong Yue responded, then turned her head to look back, gave Shi Feng a slight nod, and after turning her head back, she led the way into the pitch-black room.

Shi Feng and Little Moli also walked forward. As they passed the disheveled old man, Shi Feng’s gaze lingered on him. Yet, Shi Feng sensed no Martial Arts Aura emanating from the elder; he seemed like an ordinary person.

This meant either the old man truly was an ordinary person or his Realm was so much higher than Shi Feng’s that he was undetectable. But given Shi Feng’s current Martial Arts Realm and Sixth-stage Soul Power, if the old man practiced Martial Arts and Shi Feng could not detect it, then at a minimum, the old man’s Cultivation Level would have to be at the mid-phase Martial Venerable or Five-star Martial Venerable Realm.

Alternatively, the old man might possess some Secret Treasure that could conceal his Martial Arts Cultivation.

However, Shi Feng did not delve further into the old man’s abilities and instead followed Hong Yue and Little Moli into the dimly lit, shadowy room that, apart from an old wooden table with its lacquer almost completely chipped off in the center, was bare and empty.

Hong Yue moved forward and stretched out her right hand to give the broken wooden table a gentle push.

"Crack crack crack crack!" Instantly, a dull rumbling filled the room. Accompanying this sound, the entire room started to shake and groan loudly!

In front of Shi Feng and the others, the wall that also seemed to have endured countless years, covered in spider webs and looking as though it might collapse before long, began to shimmy and move from right to left. Gradually, a tunnel appeared before Shi Feng and the others’ eyes—so deep that one could not see its end.

"Go on in," Little Moli, standing beside them, said to Shi Feng, pointing at the deep tunnel.

"Mm!" Shi Feng nodded, and the three of them walked toward the tunnel and entered its shadowy depths.

In the dark room, the old man who was always smoking a dry tobacco pipe had already closed the door and was staring intently at the deep tunnel that had appeared in the room; a mocking smile suddenly curled at the corner of his mouth, "Humph, Shi Feng!"

In the old man’s hand, a green Jade Scroll appeared out of nowhere. With a forceful squeeze, he crushed the Jade Scroll into powder.

"Shi Feng, what’s wrong?" Walking through the tunnel, Hong Yue noticed Shi Feng frowning suddenly and asked.

"That old man, has he always been guarding that entrance?" Instead of answering Hong Yue’s question, Shi Feng asked his own.

"Yes, it has always been him!" After hearing Shi Feng’s words, Hong Yue nodded, "What’s wrong with him?" Hong Yue asked, puzzled.

"Nothing!" Shi Feng shook his head, not saying much more to them as the three of them continued to move slowly forward in the deep mountain cave.

They walked for about half a day before they gradually exited the mountain cave, but even outside, the light was still dim, and the air seemed to be filled with a cold, chilly breath.

In the distance, giant black mountain peaks towered between heaven and earth, appearing before the eyes of the trio.

There were a total of thirty-three black mountain peaks. The tallest and largest was the one in the center, like a giant standing at the heart, with the dozens of other peaks looking like dwarfed minions in comparison, like subjects kneeling before their sovereign.

"That peak is where the Heavenly Demon Sect resides!" Hong Yue pointed to the tallest of the black peaks and said to Shi Feng.

"And that is the mountain gate of our Yin Ghost Sect!" Then, Little Moli pointed to a nearby black mountain and spoke.

"Good! Let’s go!" Shi Feng stretched out his arms, once again wrapping them around Hong Yue and Little Moli. The moment his hands made contact, he felt their softness.

The two women had grown accustomed to Shi Feng’s sudden embrace over time, feeling more and more natural when enveloped in his arms.

Holding the two beautiful women, Shi Feng shot straight up into the void, rushing towards the black peak where the Yin Ghost Sect resided.

"Shi Feng!" Suddenly, a dull voice resonated throughout the land like a clap of thunder exploding in the void.

"Hmm?" Hearing that voice, Shi Feng stopped his flight in mid-air and looked up towards the sky.

Above, there stood a young man dressed in a white shroud typically worn by the dead, his face deathly pale as that of a corpse. With his hands clasped behind his back, he stood arrogantly in the void, a cold smirk on his lips as he looked down at Shi Feng and the others.

"This person is the current Sect Leader of the Ghost Yin Sect, Gui Yinzi!" Looking at the young man who appeared in the sky, Little Moli turned her head and said to Shi Feng.

Hong Yue’s face showed an uneasy expression. Gui Yinzi’s appearance was as if he had known they were coming to find him, and since he was waiting here, it was quite possible that he had already notified the Sect Leader of the Heavenly Demon Sect.

And yet, he even recognized Shi Feng.

If Gui Yinzi had informed the Heavenly Demon Sect, then they would be facing not just the Ghost Yin and Heavenly Demon Sects but dozens of Evil Sects in this land.

The appearance of Gui Yinzi wasn’t much of a surprise to Shi Feng, as he had already announced his intentions to visit the Ghost Yin Sect.

After Gui Yinzi emerged in the void, figures from the mountain top of the Ghost Yin Sect shot up, and in the blink of an eye, thirteen high-ranked members of the Ghost Yin Sect from the Martial King Realm to the Supreme Martial Sect Realm appeared behind him, followed by Flying Demon Beasts carrying Martial Artists on their backs, all swarming towards the void.

It seemed the Ghost Yin Sect had long been prepared for Shi Feng’s arrival.
