Nine Nether Heavenly Emperor
Chapter 170: If This Grudge Is Not Avenged, I Swear I Am Not Human

Chapter 170: Chapter 170: If This Grudge Is Not Avenged, I Swear I Am Not Human

"Boom!" The residual force of the Nine Nether Slash struck the silver-armored youth, burying him into the ground. "Bang!"

A cloud of sand and dust rose into the air, and within it, a figure clad in silver armor slowly rose from the ground, wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth, and looked up into the night sky with determination. He gazed at the dark silhouette above and shouted, "Scoundrel! You kill the innocent and have slain my Silver Wolf, gravely wounding me. I shall remember this day’s vengeance and someday return it to you a hundredfold, a thousandfold!"

The face of the silver-armored youth then changed dramatically as he saw that the Silver Wolf, bisected, was having its blood ferociously drawn towards the dark figure in the sky. And the Silver Wolf, which had died trying to save him, now lay in two withered halves beside him.

The sight of the Silver Wolf’s withered corpse shook the silver-armored youth to his core, and with a roar, he declared, "You practitioner of evil and heretical arts, cultivating evil techniques—you must be purged by all! One day, I will personally sever your head and rid the world of your demonic presence!"

After devouring the Soul Power, the Power of Death, and the blood of the Fifth-stage demonic beast, the Silver Wolf, a flash of white light suddenly enveloped Shi Feng, and he advanced to the Five-star Martial King Realm!

Shi Feng looked down with an indifferent expression and said calmly, "You won’t have another day. This sword is enough to send you on your way!" After speaking, Shi Feng once again launched the Nine Nether Slash.

Already injured by the Four Extremes Seal and the additional damage caused by the lingering force of the previous Nine Nether Slash, the silver-armored youth could not defend against this new attack. Shi Feng could see he had no chance to resist. This sword was a life-taking strike.

"If I cannot avenge this, I swear I’m not human!" the silver-armored youth howled towards the sky. Suddenly, in his hand appeared a yellow talisman which he crushed forcefully, causing the space around him to alter dramatically. "Boom!" The White Sword Qi descended fiercely, and the sand that had begun to settle was once again kicked up into the air.

Shi Feng glanced at the area below and shook his head. He hadn’t expected the silver-armored youth to produce a talisman infused with Space Power and use it to make an escape.

"What a waste! The death of a warrior at the Martial Sect Realm, along with his soul and blood—if devoured, they could have taken me to the next level. Hm?" Shi Feng suddenly sensed several presences rapidly approaching from behind.

He turned around to see a vast flock of huge black crows heading his way. On the backs of these crows stood armored soldiers in black Iron Armor, wielding spears, swords, and exuding a fierce presence, charging through the night sky.

Then the ground thundered, and dust swirled as a column of Black-armored Cavalry appeared, their momentum like a thunderous march of thousands.

"So I kill one group, and another comes?" Shi Feng said with a cold laugh. The soldiers’ black Battle Armor was the same as that worn by the military of the Western Wasteland City. It seemed that the forces from the Northwest had discovered his whereabouts and were coming to kill him.

"Kill!" Shi Feng gave a cold command, urging the Ghost Wolf beneath him to charge forward. At that moment, he saw the black crow warriors in the night sky as well as the charging cavalry below, all suddenly halt.

Leading the black crows was a middle-aged man dressed in a black Python Dragon Robe, his face solemn and majestic. He stood atop a winged black tiger and flew towards Shi Feng.

"A Three-star Martial Monarch! You must be the so-called Northwest Desert King, Elder Changqing!" Shi Feng said coldly to the middle-aged man.

"Correct!" Hearing Shi Feng’s words, Elder Changqing nodded and responded, "Young Master Feng, there’s no need to be so tense. I’m not here as your enemy; instead, I’ve come to offer my help after hearing about your being besieged by the various Great Sects."

"Help?" Upon hearing Elder Changqing’s words, Shi Feng’s brow furrowed slightly.

"The Dark Martial Emperor is my mentor," Elder Changqing said.

"The Dark Martial Emperor," Shi Feng understood and nodded slightly. That was Yee Wuxie; he must have learned of his whereabouts and contacted the Northwest Desert King.

"Since you’re not an enemy, I will spare you and your men," Shi Feng said.

Upon hearing this, Elder Changqing thought to himself that this man really was as the legends described, speaking bluntly and without sparing anyone’s feelings. After all, he had come with an army to assist Shi Feng.

"I heard that the experts from all the Great Sects, led by the Skywind Sect’s Holy Maiden Fengg Xinyan, came to kill Young Master Feng, so I gathered all the troops from Western Wasteland City to come to your aid. Have you encountered them?" Elder Changqing asked. When he received the news of Shi Feng, he had rushed over immediately. According to the information his subordinates gathered, Shi Feng should have already clashed with those Sect disciples.

"The dead are dead, and the ones who could escape have fled. That cheap woman, Fengg Xinyan, has been slain over there," Shi Feng pointed at the shriveled corpse not far behind him.

"Slain over there?" Elder Changqing followed the direction Shi Feng was pointing and saw, amidst the sandy soil not far away, a shriveled corpse that looked as though it had been weathered by the wind. The red clothes on the body were exactly the same as those worn by Fengg Xinyan when he saw her in Western Wasteland City.

At this moment, the desiccated body of Fengg Xinyan, with the upper garments disheveled, was clad only in a red brassiere encasing her now withered frame. This state of undress indicated that something must have happened before her death.

The image of Fengg Xinyan still lingered in Elder Changqing’s mind—an absolute enchantress! He silently thought to himself that this young man was indeed ruthless, having enjoyed her body before cruelly killing her. He had used the infamous Demon Technique, the Bloodthirsty Demon Art, to drain all the blood from her body, leaving a naturally enchanting beauty to die in a condition that was no longer human nor ghost.

"I heard that when Fengg Xinyan set out to kill this man, she brought with her the Skywind Sect’s Holy Artifact, the Wind and Thunder Mirror. Could it be that was false?" Elder Changqing muttered to himself. The rumors said the Wind and Thunder Mirror could harness the collective power of many to summon the forces of the wind and thunder of the heavens and earth, equal to a full-force strike from someone within the Martial Sect Realm. Naturally, he would not expect that Shi Feng had nullified the attack from the Wind and Thunder Mirror, which had been self-destructed by Fengg Xinyan just to block one strike from Shi Feng.

"Since Young Master Feng is safe and sound, please return with me to Western Wasteland City. Prince Chenn is waiting for you there," Elder Changqing said.

"Long Chen? He’s come to the Northwest?" Shi Feng said.

"It’s a long story. Many things have recently happened in the Empire. Let’s head back to the city first. Prince Chenn heard they had discovered your trail and that Fengg Xinyan personally led disciples from all the Great Sects to execute you; he’s been very worried," Elder Changqing said.

"Hmm," Shi Feng nodded.

"Back to the city!" Elder Changqing turned to the soldiers behind him and gave the command.

"Yes!" Thirty thousand soldiers shouted in unison, their cries echoing through the night sky. They turned their mounts around with synchronized movements, clearly a well-trained army of fierce warriors.

Accompanied by the thirty thousand soldiers and Elder Changqing, Shi Feng headed for Western Wasteland City. By the time they arrived at the Western Wasteland City, the sky had begun to show a belly of fish, gradually breaking into dawn.

Atop the city walls, Shi Feng saw a familiar figure standing there, with Yee Wuxie and Wu Xiaoyun by his side.

Elder Changqing had already sent a messenger to inform Long Chen that Shi Feng was on his way to Western Wasteland City with him. Upon hearing the news, Long Chen had not slept all night, waiting at the location just for Shi Feng.
