Mrs. Tani never expected to receive a call from one of her clients from the main city, but here she was, getting asked for a request from a noble.

"I know that you refused to sell those fruits to me last time, but you see, my dearest husbands are craving some good and ripe oranges right now." A masculine and husky voice hummed out.

"They’re pregnant and demand good oranges or grapes— you know? Like the ones you carried last week to this village. I would appreciate it if you could send it here since it’s still our honeymoon and all.." The man said, trailing off at the end of his sentence when a shuffling was heard on the other line.

Mrs. Tani frowned deeply as she stared at the bustling street through the glass of her shop.

She only saw Coco bring a flying pig to the village and nothing else. How could she ask Coco Hughes, the notoriously known trash of the Yogusho Village among the five villages in the Jire forest, to sell her oranges and grapes?

She let out a sigh, bringing a hand up to her face to rub her temples to lessen the stress that was creeping into her head.

"Hello? Are you still there, Mrs. Tani?" The nobleman spoke up after a good while of silence which made Mrs. Tani flinches and clears her throat.

"I’m still here, Mr. Cervello." Mrs. Tani responds almost immediately, afraid that she would lose one of her rich and famous customers.

"Ah, I see, I see.. Well, orange, grapes, and kiwi was it, my dearest?" Mr. Cervello asked someone on the other line, confirming if they wanted the mentioned fruit, "Mhmm.. Orange, grapes, and kiwi, Mrs. Tani. They want a kilo of each fruit."

Mrs. Tani suppressed an annoyed groan and bit her tongue, the frown on her face deepening at how unreasonable the man was being.

He should of all people that such ripe and juicy fruits are hard to get because of the soils in Jire forest. The forest itself houses several magical monsters that ruined the soils that should have been used for planting!

He’s asking for a kilo of each fruit that takes a whole year to bloom a flower and sprout a fruit— just how unreasonable could he be?!

"I will pay you five hundred gold coins for the fruits if you manage to send those in a week. How does that sound?" Mr. Cervello asked, his voice dripping with amusement, but Mrs. Tani knows better.

"Five hundred gold coins and a freezer, Mr. Cervello." Mrs. Tani stated, mustering every courage and shamelessness she has in her body to bargain with one of the richest and reputable nobles of the continent of Unirobina.

Her request must have thrown the noble off guard because she didn’t hear anything from him for a split second.

".. Freezer?" Mr. Cervello asked, confusion and slight disbelief dripping from his voice, "You want a freezer in exchange for those fruits?"

Mrs. Tani swallowed and clenched her hand into a tight fist, "Not me, Mr. Cervello.. The person who grows the fruits you saw last time wants a freezer.. They wanted it so badly that they were willing to give me four free fruits for every batch they harvest."

Coco didn’t exactly told her that she would give Mrs. Tani four free fruits, but.. Discounts are almost free! In fact, Coco Hughes was the only person she saw who would give discounts to that kind of good quality and well grown fruits!

If Coco Hughes wants a freezer then she would get that freezer she wants so badly! No matter what!

"Oh, my.." Mr. Cervello sounded taken aback, but fascinated, "So, are you saying that, in exchange of telling that person to sell the fruits just to you and not anyone else.. We would need to bribe them with a freezer?"

"Yes, Mr. Cervello." Mrs. Tani said, breathing out a sigh of relief through her nose when she realized that her customer would be accepting the offer.

"That’s interesting." The man laughed wholeheartedly, "I see, I see. Well, if you think that it would work then I’m willing to send a freezer in Yogusho Village right away. I’ll have the portal ready at Yolo Village, pick that freezer up in three days."

Mrs. Tani physically brightened up at the words she heard, her jaw almost dropping to the floor.

"Make sure to bring the fruits to me in a week. I would appreciate it if you could bring the fruits to me earlier than a week, but who knows, right?" Mr. Cervello chuckled out, sounding almost like he finds the conversation hilarious.

"I’ll talk to that person as soon as tonight, Mr. Cervello." Mrs. Tani said, the tone of her voice firm and sharp, "I’ll make sure that your husbands won’t have your head by the end of the week."

Mr. Cervello bursts out laughing at Mrs. Tani’s last statement and it was clear that he does find the conversation hilarious, "Oh, dear.. I hope you’re right, haha! They’re quite impatient and wants those fruits as soon as possible so I’ll leave it to you~"

Mrs. Tani pulled the telephone away from her ears and stared at it for a moment, her eyes wide in shock at what just went down.

However, as much as she wanted to bask in the sweet sensation of a successful negotiation, the bell above the Magia Pierre’s door chimed loudly, indicating that someone had walked in.

She looked away from the telephone and placed it back behind the desk where it was originally placed, before looking at the person who walked in.

"Good afternoon, Mrs. Tani."

To Mrs. Tani’s surprise, it was the very person she was about to look for! Coco Hughes! In the flesh!

What’s more? She’s carrying a bag full of oranges!

"You came at the perfect time, Mrs. Hughes." Mrs. Tani said, her voice laced heavily with relief.
