Chapter 33: Flying pig

Chapter 33: Flying pig

"What in the world is that thing?!" Coco cried out, running through the forest with the monster meat hot on her trail.

"Why is a pig flying, Coco?!" Lala exclaimed, big fat tears running down her cheeks as she gripped Coco’s hair tightly so she wouldn’t get whisked away by the wind current.

Picture if you would, a flying pig, no ordinary pig but one with the most glorious bright pink feather wings that were spread wide as it soared through the air— two large, powerful wings sprouted from its back, each one flecked with pink and white.

Its wings were wide and expansive, moving gracefully through the air with powerful beats, gliding effortlessly through the air, pink wings moving in the breeze, feathers streaming behind it, easily catching up to the black haired woman.

The strong wings were able to lift the pig’s plump body into the air. Its feet dangled comically above it as it soared through the air, its face scrunched into a look of intense concentration and anger.

Despite its ungainly appearance and obvious lack of natural flying ability, the piggy somehow managed to stay aloft, its wings working overtime to keep it airborne. As it glided over the trees, it

Despite its strange appearance, the flying pig seemed comfortable in the sky, its snout and tail pointed down as it glided through the air. It moved with a surprisingly smooth and controlled motion, its wings moving in synchronicity to keep it afloat.

The sight of the flying pig made both Coco and Lala do a double-take, questioning their eyes and what they were seeing before Coco made a beeline inside the forest, barely missing the strangely sharp feathers that were shot in her direction.

Now, she’s running away for her life, the flying pig hot on trails which was shooting sharp feathers that glinted brightly under the sunlight.

"Coco, watch out!" Lala screamed, her voice high pitched as she warned Coco.

Coco didn’t have to be warned twice and immediately jumped out of the way, she leaped to the side, her heart racing as the flying pig suddenly released a large number of feathers in her direction.

The feathers shot out of the pig’s wings, sharp and fast like projectiles. Coco narrowly avoided getting hit by the feathers, her reflexes quick enough to save her from harm.

Squeeeeeeeeeee!

The pig squealed loudly, its wings flapping wildly as it continued to shoot feathers out at her, each of them darting through the air with surprising speed.

Coco always manages to leap out of the way just in time every shot, letting out a loud yelp of surprise and alarm as the sharp, glinting feathers whistered past her head, almost brushing her hair which made her eyes wide in fear.

"How can I kill that damn pig if it’s flying?! I’m at a disadvantage here!" Coco cussed out, screaming at the top of her lungs as she continued to run for her life.

As the strange flying pig continued to shoot feathers at Coco and Lala, Coco had no choice, but to frantically run, her feet pounding the ground as she sprinted away.

She darted through the trees, her heart pounding in her chest, each step taking her further from the winged menace. The flying pink pig gave chase, its wings flapping rapidly, its seemingly excited squeals filling the air as it pursued her through the forest.

As Coco ran, her emerald eyes darted around, searching for a way to escape the flying pig or ways to end its life so she could finish the quest.

If she doesn’t kill the flying pig soon, her and Lala would be dead meat and would be the pig’s meal!

Huffing heavily, the black haired young woman who was busy running for her life turned into a space between the trees on her right which caused her to suddenly slam into a giant tree, the impact knocking the wind out of her.

She slammed into the trunk, and with a loud crack, the tree began to topple over, its roots ripping from the soil— the tree fell to the ground with a tremendous thud, leaving the woman gasping for breath.

Her eyes eyed the fallen tree on the ground, the chase sequence she just had with the flying pig momentarily got pushed on the back of her head.

However, as soon as it disappeared, she snapped back to reality when she heard Lala’s frantic cries.

"Coco! It’s approaching!" The red fairy cried out, shaking Coco’s hair with urgency and tugging her forward in hopes of making her human friend move.

The flying pig was getting closer, its wings flapping furiously as it aimed another barrage of feathers in Coco’s direction.

An idea popped into Coco’s head at the last minute and looked in the direction of the strange predator, her eyes locked on the pig, her adrenaline pumping.

Coco grasped the fallen tree trunk, the thick wood easy to maneuver in her powerful grip.

"Die, you pig!" Coco roared loudly, swinging the broken tree trunk with all her might, using it like a club to smack the flying pig out of the air, hitting it squarely in the side.

SQUEEEEEEE!

The impact was powerful, sending the pig tumbling through the air, its wings flailing wildly as it struggled to regain its balance.

The pig let out a shrill cry, its wings faltering as it was knocked off course It continued to let out squeals of pain as it went down, its body crashing into the ground with a thud.

Coco took a moment, panting heavily, her shoulders, arms, and legs trembling from the effort of running and swinging the tree trunk.

She could hardly believe what she had just done, but the sight of the downed flying pig and the sound of the system’s notification in the back of her head confirmed her victory.

"You won! You won, Coco!" Lala cheered, singing praises as she flew around Coco, "That was amazing!"
