Chapter 148: NOT TO BE UNDERESTIMATED
"Mister Randall." A voice snapped him out of his thoughts.
He turned to the worker with eyebrows raised, "What is it?"
"This came for you." The worker handed him an envelope respectfully.
"Oh. Is that so?" He collected the letter and nodded at the worker, "thank you."
’So quickly.’ He thought, staring at the letter in his hands.
The worker nodded and left. Randall entered his office and opened the sealed envelope. He took out the letter.
"It’s from the princess." He muttered to himself. He read the letter and a smile unconsciously formed on his face.
It was finally time to deal with them. He had held a grudge against them for quite a long time.
But how the princess found out about the matter and asked him to investigate it was beyond him.
’The princess is not to be underestimated.’
That same day, news spread in the North that the famous art store sold inferior goods for a high price. The rumours spread quickly like a roaring wildfire.
Later on, along with the rumours, there was also talk that they were just rumours, actively defending the store.
But before anyone could realize anything, another wave swept them off their feet. There were rumours that they had ways to confirm if the news about the art store was true or if it was just a rumour.
After the people had tried the method with the paint and paintbrushes, it was discovered that the rumours were true. The art store had been getting a lot of gain off cheating people. The paintbrushes were made of inferior material and so was the paint.
The nobility was shocked that they had actually been spending money on low quality goods. They quickly became enraged. How could they be made cuckolds out of?
The art store was dealt a huge blow and had to close down as no one would patronize them anymore. If they didn’t close down, the nobility would make sure they wouldn’t be able to stand again and could even target the merchant group behind them.
Because of this, Aristia’s art store gained a large wave of attention. News spread that not only did they sell quality goods, their treatment of customers was also exceptional. The art store was immediately boosted.
Randall was almost on the verge of tears when he witnessed this. For years, the art store opposite his had spread false rumours about him and his store and tried any way possible to bring him down, and they had succeeded. They had been suppressing him for so long.
He would never have imagined that a time would come when his art store would be as popular as it was now. But it was happening, even though it wasn’t his art store anymore. And all this was all because of a six year old. No matter how hard it was to believe, it was the truth.
Days later, Aristia smiled when she read the report Randall had sent her. She had found out about the low quality materials the rival art store sold when she first entered the art store to purchase art supplies.
When she decided to buy Randall’s store, it had skipped her mind. But learning that the rival art store was targeting her store, she hatched a plan to take them down.

Days later.
Aristia got ready for her morning training. She headed to the training grounds with an apple in her hand and Alaric’s hand in her other hand.
"Good morning, Captain Hugh." They greeted the captain.
"Good morning, Princess and Prince." Captain Hugh nodded, then went straight to the point. "Run the usual laps around the field."
Aristia nodded. She got into position and began to run. Running around the field had become a lot less tiring than the first time as her body had gotten used to it thanks to the constant training. And now that she had her aura, it didn’t take as much time and energy.
She completed the lap, panting lightly when she was done.
"We’ll move to the horse riding now." Captain Hugh didn’t even give her time to catch her breath, but she was used to it anyway.
The stable was on the other side of the mansion so it would require someone going there to bring the horses. Right on time, Owen entered the training grounds leading two horses by the reins.
He stopped in front of the Captain and Aristia with the horses.
"Choose one." Captain Hugh instructed.
During their horse riding training, she would always stick with one particular horse, but ever since she manifested aura, the captain would always ask her to choose different horses each time.
She stared at the two horses;
The first was a chestnut Mare. It was graceful and chestnut-colored with a flowing mane. She looked spirited yet gentle.
The other was a black stallion that looked powerful and sleek. His coat gleamed black. He had a proud stance.
[Sweet! They’re both good but...]
She chose the black stallion.
Seeing her choice, Captain Hugh’,s brows rose, but he only nodded.
After the horse riding training, captain Hugh finally started to teach her to control her aura.
"Manifest your aura," he instructed. "Then, we’ll start with controlling it."
"Alright," Aristia nodded. She concentrated and tried to manifest her aura. This time, she didn’t need to imagine any heartwarming scenes.
"Wow," she whispered, watching the aura around her. She still wasn’t used to this even though she had been constantly practicing.
Seeing that she had succeeded in manifesting her aura this time without much scruples, Captain Hugh nodded in approval.
Then together, they worked on focusing Aristia’s thoughts and emotions to manipulate the aura’s intensity. He also trained her to restrain her aura so that it wouldn’t act with her emotions unhinged.
Captain Hugh nodded approvingly.
After a while, he stepped back, a smile tugging at the corners of his mouth that he himself was not aware of. "You’re doing well, Princess," he praised. "Keep practicing, and soon you’ll have full control over your aura. Remember, patience and practice are key. You’re already showing great potential."
"Thank you, Captain," Aristia nodded. She didn’t feel as tired as the first time. She was just tired and not exhausted.
But she knew that when she finally succeeded in controlling her aura, she’d experience what happened to Ivan.
[Aura is so tiring. After struggling to control it, I still have to keep it from going wild.]
But that meant that succeeding once or twice in controlling it was only just the beginning. Only when she fully tamed her ’wild’ aura could she be said to have controlled her aura.
After the training, Aristia headed inside while Owen returned the horses to their stables.
After having her bath, Aristia headed to the dining room for breakfast.
"I’m attending a tea party at noon." Catherine informed her family during breakfast, "Marchioness Oswalt is hosting the tea party."
[Charlotte? I guess that’s a good thing then. That she’s finally making an attempt to socialize.] Aristia thought as she stabbed the meat with her fork and cut it with her knife.
This would be Charlotte’s first time hosting a tea party since she entered nobility.
After breakfast, the family and Owen went about their activities. Aristia and Alaric, to their classes and Wilson to work. Catherine would attend the tea party in the afternoon, and Owen was working from home.
Aristia took Alaric to meet his literacy tutor.
"Greetings, Your Highness, the third princess." A woman with brown hair and brown eyes greeted with a smile and a bow.
Aristian nodded, "You must be Alaric’s literacy tutor."
"The princess is correct. I am Mary." The woman replied with a nod.
Aristia turned back to Alaric. "I will head to my class now. I’ll see you after my classes."
Alaric smiled and nodded, waving at her.
Aristia went to the drawing room for her class with Viscountess Vasily Hemsworth.
Vasily was already seated and waiting. She smiled warmly once Aristia entered the drawing room. "Good morning, Princess Aristia. I trust you’re ready for our history lesson today?"
Aristia nodded and responded with a smile, going to seat down opposite Vasily, "Good morning, Viscountess Vasily. Yes, I am."
Viscountess Vasily smiled, "Wonderful. Let’s begin the lesson." She carefully adjusted herself, mindful of her growing baby bump.
Aristia noticed the baby bump and asked, switching titles, "Aunt Vasily, how is the baby doing today?"
Vasily was almost eight months pregnant. Her baby bump was very clearly visible now.
Vasily’s smile became even warmer. "The baby is fine. In fact, he or she seems to be full of energy today."
Throughout the lesson, Viscountess Vasily gently paced herself, occasionally resting a hand on her belly as she spoke.
Aristia listened intently, occasionally glancing at the baby bump with curiosity. Seeing Vasily’s movements, she chuckled.
[She sure loves that baby a lot.]
"I won’t be coming to tutor you anymore." Vasily stated. She was nearing the eight month of pregnancy and shouldn’t move about too much to prevent complications. The physician had told her to limit her movement to within her mansion.
Aristia understood the reason why Vasily could no longer come. She nodded. "So this is the last class we have together?"
"I’m afraid so. Until I birth the child. You will be assigned a new history teacher for the time being." Vasily smiled.
"Then, I will come to visit you." Aristia said. Catherine would definitely do so, so she would go with her.
Vasily nodded with a smile. After the lesson, she went to have tea with Catherine while the servants massaged her feet.
Ever since she became pregnant, she would have some calming tea with Catherine after her lessons with Aristia.
Aristia had said that she’d read in a book that massaging the feet helped, and Catherine wouldn’t let Vasily leave until she did so.
In the afternoon, Catherine left for the tea party in the Oswalt mansion.
