Through the dim light in the dark room, Ian read the main goal multiple times and sighed. Then he looked toward Nyanthara and tried to ask a question, but was interrupted. Nyanthara looked at the beautiful scenery in front of her and said.

"This place is very beautiful...especially that forest"

A confused expression appeared on Ian’s face. Then he gave her a strange look.

"The window is closed."

She met his gaze with annoyance. Then waited for a moment and said.

"Of course, I know that. I am not as stupid as you, mortal...Seeing through something as trivial as a window isn’t a problem for someone as powerful as me."

Ian stayed silent for a moment and shook his head. With the shakiness, her insults disappeared as well.

The corners of her mouth curled upward. A vicious grin appeared on her face as she talked.

After learning how to bind the system from Nyanthara, Ian came to the middle of the tavern.. For safety reasons, he sent Nyanthara back to his mind.

He looked at the depressed looking tavern for a moment and closed his eyes.

Then he imagined what the tavern’s inside looked like. He continued imagining it until the image became more detailed. When the image was detailed enough, he took a deep breath and said

A strange wind flowed past him as he opened his eyes. He was amazed by the sudden changes in the tavern’s interior. He looked around him with great curiosity.

The depressing, medieval tavern around him was replaced with a modern-looking bar.

The area that was visible to him was especially futuristic compared to the medieval vibe from before.

The run-down, weak entrance door was replaced by a tall, modern, black metal door.

Behind the door was the guest area where people sat and enjoyed their drinks. It was twice the size of the hall before.

The floor was covered with tiles and ceiling was filled with modern light bulbs.

The walls and the ceiling was white while the floor was black.

Wooden tables and chairs from before were replaced by metal black ones. For some reason, he felt like no amount of strength could destroy one of them.

Four strange, beautiful bonsai plants were situated in the four corners of the guest hall.

When his eyes met the strange plants, his desire erupted like a volcano. For a moment, he didn’t care about anything. All he wanted was to snatch the four plants and run away as fast as he could.

He took a step forward to do it, but stopped. A strong sensation overwhelmed his mind, and the greed for the plant vanished. He rubbed his temples and mumbled.

Nyantara’s voice whispered to him.

Ian frowned and glared at the plant again. "Eternal tree?"

’Yeah, the eternal tree is the tree where mana itself was born. It is a godly existence in this world, but right now it is as weak as a sapling. You have to level up the trees to make their effects better."

Ian frowned and turned away from the tree to look at the bar counter. There, a couple of meters away, a beautiful girl dressed in a maid’s outfit was pouring a drink. Ian tilted his head.

’There was nobody there when I came here. The last receptionist and the drink brewer went away after Mother got sick. Who is this?’

He expected Nyanthara to answer, but all he met was silence. After waiting for a moment, he walked toward the beautiful young maid with slow steps, while examining her curiously.

Suddenly, their eyes met, and the girl flashed a very beautiful smile.

"Hello, master. I made you a very special, milky drink. Please taste it."
