Chapter 41: Anger

You are stuck here with me

As usual, a black smoke appeared just beneath the feet of the of the duo that just received the pointy tips of the thorns.

The black smoke covered them and immediately, Tim got his notification as usual.

Tim’s ears and instinct quickly picked up something, without waiting to investigate what it was, Tim accelerated out of his position.

BAM

A deep cut was made on the ground, of course Idah would attack him unannounced. In fact he was not angry for Idah trying to be sneaky.

It was only normal for one to take advantage of all scenarios in a battle.

"I will put an end to your life. No matter how fast you get. It won’t matter because nobody is going to safe you today.

You are stuck here with me." Idah said, still angry for being tricked by Tim’s words and for all Tim had done to his gang.

Presently out of 11 gang members, he was the last man standing. He needed to avenge his colleagues or he might not be able to move on.

"Haha. You are so funny. Listen pal. I am not stuck here with you. You are stuck here with me." Tim said, as he hurriedly tried something that he only had a theory about.

He was going to see if he could use his skill sharing skill with all his current available undead. He was not sure if it was going to be a success or not. But the result from his test will be able to tell him, if he will become dangerously broken or not.

"Death Embrace." Tim muttered to himself with only one clear goal in his mind, to use the skill on all reserve undead slot. He had discarded the level 4 snakes and only left the level 10 boss horned snake.

He needed space and slots after all.

[Unable to use skill on more than 2 targets at the moment.]

’Sh*t.’ Tim cursed out in his mind, as he intentionally created a distance between him and Idah.

Although his thoughts went at a super fast speed, that did not mean that he would not protect himself from potential attacks.

Luckily for him Idah did not chase. He seemed to be charging his aura, because Tim could see that a blue flicking energy was coating him.

Tim did not want to know what would happen if Idah was fully coated so he hastened up. He used the Death Embrace on the highest level of the available reserve undead, to add to the one that he was already using on the horned snake.

[ Ding.

Tim’s head was like a fresh computer program that just received a major upgrade to its operating system. Because immediately the skill activated, he could literally feel the knowledge of the spell download in his head.

He had never used the spell before in his life but, he felt as if he was the one that learned the spell and has been practicing it for a very long time.

He also noticed the boost in stats. Tim never complained about a boost in stat. it was the necessary amount of cheat code that he needed to take care of his enemies.

"+1 to all stats and an additional 1 to my speed and dexterity. Mr. leader. This is the point that I will advise you to lay down your life for me and avoid any futile battle." Tim said mockingly, not even caring about the fact that he spoke about his stats.

Instead of revealing such information only in his thoughts.

Idah fully coated in his blue oppressive looking aura dashed towards Tim.

FOOM

It was a very fast acceleration which caught Tim off guard. Actually, Tim at this point was defenseless, but he had another form of defense.

So he decided to put his next form of defense that felt like he had been using for months.

"Wind Wall." Tim casted, and immediately a powerful surge of wind emanated just in front of him and negated the speed at which Idah approached Tim.

Idah not caring about his attack not being cancelled. Immediately entered his stance and unleashed his favorite sword skill directly in front of Tim. "Sky Piercer."

FOO

Tim’s eyes almost popped out from his eyes, with an instinct and battle experience that was burrowed in addition to his own.

He casted two spells concurrently.

"Wind Wall and Barrage" Tim called out in under a second, and immediately the same powerful wind wall appeared directly in front of Tim, but the barrage did not attack Idah’s attack.

Instead the wind barrage that was used activated on Tim’s feet instantly sending him upwards from the forceful wind that just generated from his feet.

Luckily he escaped the narrow grasp of death that came his way when Idah released the attack at a close range.

Idah was angry but he was also surprised. He definitely knew that Tim’s speed had increased once more. He was not an expert with the sword. He was only an early stage aura user and his mastery was nothing to the vast world of Fantasiaa.

But because of his huge attention to details, he clearly noticed that Tim’s speed had once again increased, and he had never seen such utilization of the wind barrage skill.
