Chapter 327: Destruction and Creation

"Since you have nothing interesting to show me… it is time for your punishment."

Naruto wanted to see what would happen if he punched someone with his full power, so he did not hold back one bit on this attack.

He poured his entire cultivation behind his fist. This alone created an immense pressure that cracked the walls and floor of the palace.

Toneri saw the fist approaching, but his body refused to respond to his commands. It was like an invisible hand was keeping him in place.

Naruto's fist generated a tremendous amount of heat by mere friction with the air inside the barrier, with flames and sparks surrounding it.

He made contact with Toneri's face, but there was so much force behind his punch that it barely slowed down.

Hidan could be heard screaming something in the background.

Toneri's body was pushed onto the ground by the fist, and it continued pressing.

The ground beneath them cracked and broke apart.

Toneri's body became unable to withstand the force behind Naruto's fist. His head exploded, and the rest of his body was torn to shreds and dispersed everywhere by the air pressure generated by the impact.

A massive crater replaced the floor of the previously beautiful and pristine main chamber of the palace.

The barrier that had been surrounding the Moon Palace and protecting it from harm was also unable to withstand the pressure and… it shattered.

The palace soon followed, and without the protection from the barrier, the Moon's surface was next.

The grey rock forming the celestial body began to crack, forming massive chasms all over. And just as Naruto was ending the motion of his punch, the entire Moon broke apart into several large sections.

The entire event only took three seconds.

And now Naruto found himself floating in empty space where the palace used to be.

Now there was only debris floating around due to the lack of gravity.

'Oh… this is bad.' Naruto thought.

He was no expert in these matters, but he was sure that the Moon served some important purpose, and now he had destroyed it.

There were no traces of his opponent, and the signature from his chakra was quickly disappearing, signaling that he was definitely dead. But now he had another problem.

'I can't leave things like this.' Naruto observed the remnants of the Moon moving away from him.

If he did nothing, those pieces would fall back to the planet and destroy everything.

His golden eyes shone like bright stars as he willed everything back together.

Every broken piece of the Moon stopped moving away from him and began to return to its original position.

The massive chunks of grey rock grew closer to each other until their surfaces touched.

The chakra disappeared, leaving behind nothing but solid material.

'That was a bit tiresome.' Naruto thought.

It had taken him a few minutes and a lot of energy, but the Moon was now whole once more.

The palace was still gone, as he didn't even attempt to repair it.

There was no point in it, as its occupants were all dead and the purpose for which it was created was also voided now. Kaguya was no longer sealed in there, but dead.

As Naruto was observing his work with a smile of satisfaction, he noticed that the other chakra signature was still traveling further away and decided to do something.

He disappeared from the spot he was in and reappeared many miles away, just in time to catch the floating head.

Hidan opened his eyes and glanced at him.

The former Akatsuki member could not speak in the void of space, but his eyes showed nothing but horror at the sight of Naruto.

'Let's see if I can do this…' He tried to create an imitation of the Moon Palace's barrier.

It was just big enough to cover his body, but it had enough air to last for a few minutes.

"Sorry for breaking your new home. It was nothing personal." Naruto said.

"N-Naruto…" Hidan muttered.

"I'm afraid that your new Master is also gone." He added. "How are you enjoying your immortality? Did you like the Moon?"

"Please… kill me." Hidan had hoped for Naruto to return his body. All he could look forward to now was a quick death.

"Are you sure? I thought you were very proud of your immortality. Do you want to die now?"

"Yes! I… had enough… please." Hidan begged.

Naruto grasped the head in his hand and removed the barrier. His eyes moved to his target, and using a great deal of power, he sent Hidan's head on his new journey.

He was sure that the Sun would take care of killing him, but what he didn't know was how long it would take him to get there. It was going to be a long journey, that's for sure.

Naruto extended his Divine Senses and found his next target.

His body disappeared, leaving only some golden sparks of light.

"Ahh!" A young man fell down when she saw someone appearing in front of him out of nowhere.

"Oops, sorry." Naruto looked down and saw Kiba being helped up by a girl he didn't recognize.

He was sure the girl was a civilian, but what caught his attention were Kiba's clothes.

"You really are a Jonin now, huh?"

"Naruto?! Is that really you, or another of your clones?" Kiba asked.

"It's really me." Naruto said.

"You're Naruto Uzumaki? The legendary ninja who fought a war by himself?" The girl was looking at him with a shocked expression.

People around them began to take notice. Naruto had appeared in a very crowded area.

"Hmm… I think I preferred the previous location." Naruto looked around at the many shops and restaurants until he found what he was looking for.

"What are you doing here, Naruto?" Kiba decided to ask. He didn't think Naruto was just messing with him to make him look bad in front of his girlfriend.

"Isn't it obvious?" Naruto pointed to one of the restaurants. On a large sign, the words 'Ichiraku Ramen' were written. "I came to eat."
