Chapter 325: Lesser Deity Seraphina
Chapter 325: Lesser Deity Seraphina
"Master, I did it!"
At that moment, she lifted her head and spoke slowly. Her face—mature, regal, breathtaking—was like a flower in full bloom. For a second, it felt like the whole world dimmed around Ethan.
Instinctively, Ethan reached out to pat her on the shoulder... or maybe her forehead. But he froze mid-motion—he suddenly realized... he was too short now. He couldn’t reach!
The tall, elegant woman—so poised and powerful—pressed her lips together in a faint smile.
Then, without hesitation, she lowered her head...
And knelt before Ethan.
"Master, I am Seraphina."
Right then, Ethan could just barely reach her shoulder. His eyes lit up, and with a warm smile, he stepped forward and wrapped his arms around her.
"Seraphina, congratulations. I’m proud of you—truly."
"And I’m proud to serve you, my honored Master," Seraphina replied, her voice trembling slightly, eyes misting over with emotion.
She hugged him back tightly, her body quivering just a little.
"Alright, alright... you can get up now," Ethan chuckled, ruffling her hair affectionately. "Seraphina, with your new form—can you change your size at will?"
"I can..."
"But I just evolved, and I’m still getting used to the power. So for now, I can’t shift back. Besides, this form—this size—is probably the most combat-efficient version of my human shape. I’d like to get used to it first..."
She looked up at him, her voice soft and full of warmth. "Master, once I’ve adjusted, I’ll shift back right away. Is that okay with you?"
Ethan blinked, then laughed.
"No problem at all."
Honestly, the biggest change in Seraphina right now... was how gentle and mature she’d become.
She used to be like a wild tomboy—always charging ahead, reckless and impulsive, never stopping to think things through. But now, standing in front of her, Ethan felt something completely different. Her sharp edges were still there, but they were refined, controlled.
She’d grown up.
A small, proud smile tugged at Ethan’s lips.
Sure, he still wasn’t totally used to this new version of Seraphina. But seeing her evolve like this—stronger, wiser—it made him genuinely happy.
People change. That’s just life.
As long as she was still her...
As long as the bond between them stayed the same...
Nothing else really mattered.
"Let’s head back, Seraphina. We can’t afford to relax just yet. The danger in Sylvanwood isn’t over."
Ethan took her hand and started walking.
Without missing a beat, Seraphina replied, "Honored Master, from this day forward, I will be your sharpest blade—cutting through everything in our path. My glory is yours."
Ethan smiled again and gave a small nod.
Then he turned to look at Isaryne, who was standing nearby, her expression unreadable as she stared at Seraphina.
"Isaryne," Ethan said gently, "thank you for your help. Emerald Castle won’t forget this. The final battle is coming. If you’re willing, I’d like you to lead your forces and fight alongside us—against the Dungeon army."
"Attack the Dungeon army?" Isaryne’s expression didn’t change, but her voice grew heavier as she looked at Ethan.
"You mean... we strike first?"
"There’s really not much of a difference anymore," Ethan replied calmly. "The Dungeon forces must’ve already realized their mission failed. That means they’re down to two options: either go all-in and fight us to the death, or retreat back to the Dungeon. Maybe even try to call for reinforcements—but knowing the Dungeon faction, that’s not really their style."
He paused, then continued, voice steady.
"So the situation’s pretty clear. Either we hit them, or they hit us. Doesn’t really matter who throws the first punch... but if I get a choice, I’d rather strike first."
Isaryne stared at him for a long moment, her gaze sharp and unreadable. Then she gave a cool nod.
"Give me two to three days to prepare. That’s all."
With that, she turned on her heel and walked away, her figure dissolving into a streak of light that vanished into the sky.
Ethan watched her go, then let out a small chuckle. He turned back to the others and raised his hand.
"Alright, everyone—let’s head back. Get some rest. We’ve got a war to prepare for."
"Yes, my Lord!"
"At your service, honored Master!"
...
On the way back, Ethan finally had a moment to pull up Seraphina’s updated status panel—and what he saw nearly made his jaw hit the ground.

Ethan stared at the panel, mouth slightly open, then just... went silent.
He’d expected Seraphina to get a serious power boost after her awakening. But this? This was on a whole different level.
Eighty thousand HP?
Over a thousand base damage?
What the hell kind of numbers were these?
That kind of raw power... she could probably one-shot a weaker orange-tier Legendary Hero without even trying.
And then there were the talents—Level 3 Venomous Dragon Breath, Level 2 Sacred Realm, Level 1 Divine Dragon-King’s Empowerment... every single one of them was absurdly overpowered.
That Venomous Dragon Breath alone? At level 3, it was already comparable to Tier 4 magic spells.
And the craziest part? Seraphina could fire those off almost instantly.
With her current strength, Ethan figured she could probably unleash thirty to fifty of those breath attacks in a single battle—each one packing the punch of a high-tier spell.
Thirty to fifty Tier 4-level attacks... casually.
Just thinking about it made his scalp tingle.
