"Cough, cough...Alex..ander" Amber's expression turned to one of betrayal as she saw Alexander thrusting his sword behind her back.

Both Pearl and Eva rushed towards Amber, concern etched on their faces.

A sickening squelching sound followed as Alexander pulled his sword back and hastily retreated.

Pearl and Eva managed to catch Amber, preventing her from falling.

Eli and Alexander clapped each other's hands, seemingly unfazed by the tense situation, while the three furious women vented their anger.

"Damn you Alex, how could you do this?"

"I never thought you would do something this cowardice" Pearl added, her voice filled with disappointment and anger.

"You are showing your true colour....ah?" Eva shouted, unable to contain her frustration.

However, Alexander and Eli ignored those three.

"You deserve to be the leader of our team, Alexander" Eli said, his tone light.

"Haha... it was easy to manipulate them" Alexander replied in an amused tone.

"Pearl-cough-cough-Eva, Eliminate him before I leave" Amber said with bloodshot eyes, her fierce blue gaze filled with hatred. She recalled their journey from the lower floor to here, how Alexander had easily agreed to help.

She had initially believed him to be a naive and good-hearted guy, but now...

One by one, Arlyne, Theo, Kyra, and Kira arrived on the scene.

Seeing this, Amber, Eva, and Pearl flinched, and their panic intensified. The appearance of Eli's allies? was putting them at a severe disadvantage.

"You guys are really following me....ah?" Eli calmly surveyed the situation.
